IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WHEN USING THE TOASTER FOR THE FIRST TIME
NOTE: The toaster may emit a small amount of smoke and odour when used for the first time.
This is normal and caused by the lubricant on the heating element during the production process.
It is non-toxic. We recommend first operation without bread and within a well ventilated area. The
appliance should then be left to cool before toasting the first slice/s of bread.
OPERATION:
1. Insert standard bread slice/s into the bread slot/s, each slot can accommodate one piece of
bread.
NOTE: Make sure the crumb tray is correctly positioned in place before using.
2. Insert the supply plug into the power socket outlet and switch on.
3. Set browning control knob to your desired setting. There is a 7-position level, the lowest is for
very light toasting and the highest is for darker toasting. Variation will exist depending on the type
of bread and thickness however, in general the bread can be toasted to golden color at the
position of “4”.
