Introduction
Congratulaons on your purchase of the Contour pedicure chair. The Contour oers an
unparalleled pedicure and hydrotherapy experience, featuring a luxurious, handcraed
motorized chair and a tub powered by the patented Sanijet® pipeless jets. The tub basin is lined
with soothing textured foot pebbles to give your client’s feet a relaxed, massaging sensaon.
The Contour is designed for licensed therapists and technicians and is intended to be used in a
professional spa, salon, or similar commercial environment. While no special training is needed
to operate the product, for safety reasons it is important that the instrucons contained in this
manual are reviewed in detail before the rst use. This manual should be read in its enrety by
each professional who will be operang the product to ensure the safety of both operator and
client. This manual should be saved for future reference.
The Contour should not be used in any other manner than described in this manual. Please read,
understand, and follow all safety warnings, labels, and instrucons. Misuse, use of unnecessary
force, or using the chair for unintended or unauthorized procedures can result in injury to
operator, client, and/or equipment.

SECTION 1: SAFETY INFORMATION
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS / GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - When using electrical products, basic precautions should always
be followed, including the following:
1. DANGER: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Connect only to a circuit protected
by a ground-fault circuit-interrupter.
2. Grounding is required. The unit should be installed by a qualifi ed service
representative and grounded.
This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides
a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product
is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding connector can result in a risk of electric shock.
Check with a qualifi ed electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is
properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product - if it will not fi t the outlet,
have a proper outlet installed by a qualifi ed electrician.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - FOR COMMERCIAL USE ONLY
Read all instructions before using the Contour pedicure chair.
Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees above
the body temperature of 98.6°F or 37°C. The symptoms of hyperthermia include an increase in the internal
temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, and fainting. The effects of hyperthermia include:
a) Failure to perceive heat,
b) Failure to recognize the need to exit the hydromassage bathtub,
c) Unawareness of impending hazard,
d) Fetal damage in pregnant women,
e) Physical inability to exit the hydromassage bathtub, and
f) Unconciousness resulting in the danger of drowning. WARNING - The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication
can greatly increase the risk of fatal hyperthermia.
WARNING - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK - Do not permit electric appliances (such as hair dryers,
lamp, telephone, radio, or television) to be within 5 ft (1.5m) of this unit.
WARNING - RISK OF INJURY - Exercise care when using a foot bath. Use this product for its intended
purpose: a manicure chair and fi ll and drain indoor commercial appliance for foot and ankle hydro massage.
DO NOT use attachments not recommended by manufacturer.
WARNING - MOVABLE PARTS, RISK OF INJURY:
• Keep children away from adjustable seat armrests, tilt back, and seat slide, and footrest.
WARNING - To reduce the risk of burns, fi re, electric shock, or injury to persons:
• Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking off parts.
• Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled
persons. DO NOT leave children alone or allow them to operate the controls. Keep controls out of reach
of children. DO NOT allow children to crawl behind the chair.
• Never use this furnishing if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been
dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the furnishing to a service center for examination
and repair.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Never operate the furnishing with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, etc.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
WARNING
• DO NOT reach for any electrical object that has fallen into the water. Unplug immediately.
• DO NOT drop or insert anything into jet opening.
• DO NOT operate without the complete jet assembly installed or without water fi lled 1 inch above jets.
• DO NOT overfi ll the basin.
• DO NOT stand on or in the basin, or on the foot rest.
• DO NOT leave this appliance unattended when in operation.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• Keep the electrical cord away from heated surfaces.
• Connect this appliance only to a properly grounded outlet.
• To avoid injury, exercise care when entering or exiting the chair and foot bath.
• Use caution when making positioning adjustments to your chair. Keep all equipment and body parts
away from moving parts while making any adjustments.
• It is important that you clean and disinfect the jets and basin after every use.
• Hydrotherapy should be pleasant and comfortable. Should you or a client experience any pain or
discomfort while using the foot bath, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
• You or your clients should consult a physician if diabetic, have poor circulation, if feet or legs are in-
fl amed, have an open wound, or if you have questions about whether you should be using hydro mas-
sage equipment.
• A qualifi ed plumber and electrician are strongly recommended to install your foot bath.
• Make certain that the cord and plug are maintained in good condition and are not allowed to become
damaged while in use. Avoid positioning the cord in the traffi c lane and it is always kept out of the way.
Take this furnishing out of service immediately if the cord or plug becomes damaged in any way.
• Do not attempt to repair. All repairs must be performed by an authorized service representative.

Your Contour control panel is connected and ready for use. See below for descripons of
each buon funconality. For the top row of buons, push and hold the buon unl the
chair movement stops - this means you have reached the memory posion. For the lower
set of buons, push and hold unl the desired posion is reached.
WARNING
Always use extreme cauon when making any posion adjustments to your chair.
Ensure all body parts and objects are clear from all moving parts.

Pressing the On/O buon once will start the jets, and pressing the buon again will turn the
system o. Turn on the jets ONLY AFTER the tub is lled with water, and ensure you turn the
jets OFF before draining the tub.
CAUTION
Running the jets without lling the tub with water can damage or destroy the jets.
Ensure that a MINIMUM of one (1) inch of water is above the jets prior to use.
Pressing the light buon once will turn the light to the default Bright White color. Press the
switch again to cycle to the next color mode, in the following order:
1. Bright White
2. Aqua Blue
3. Soothing Blue
4. Ocean Blue
5. Majesc Gold
6. Shamrock Green
7. Fiery Red
8. Chameleon Mode
9. Party Mode
To reset, turn lights o for 5 seconds and turn back on. Lights will ash 4 mes and return to
Bright White.
Electric Back Tilt
The electric back lt buons are conveniently located on the inside of the le armrest door,
where clients can easily make lt adjustments themselves. See below for descripons of buon
funconality.
*NOTE
If the “Slide Seat Backward”, “Seat memory posion 1”, or “Seat memory posion 2” buons
aren’t working, ensure the armrest doors ARE FULLY CLOSED. These buons will not acvate if the
armrest doors are at all open. Posions are preset at factory and cannot be changed.

Discharge Pump (Optional)
Drain Knob
Turn the drain knob clockwise to close the drain when lling the tub. Turn the knob
counterclockwise to open the drain and empty the tub.
Water Fill Valve
CAUTION
There is no automac shuto with the water ll valve. You MUST turn the valve OFF
aer the tub is lled to prevent overow and/or ooding. Do not walk away from the
tub when it is lling with water.
Down-OffUp-FillLeft-Cold Right-Hot
The water ll valve is OFF when poinng DOWN. Water dispenses when you pull the valve UP.
Hot water is dispensed when the valve is turned to the RIGHT. Cold water is dispensed when
the valve is turned to the LEFT.

Symbol Description
Discharge pump buon is locaon directly above the drain knob. Before pressing the buon,
open the drain with the drain knob and let the water start draining towards the pump. Wait
approximately 5-10 seconds for the pump to register, then push the discharge pump buon.

Cleaning Sanijet® Pipeless Jets
Preparation & Cleaning
1. Drain the bath of all water.
2. Rotate the jet covers to unlock. (Fig. 1)
3. Remove the jet covers. (Fig. 2)
4. Remove the magnec impellers/rotors from the jet case. (Fig. 3)
5. Place the jet covers and impellers/rotors in a sink.
6. Use a non-abrasive anbacterial cleaner to remove any visible residue, and rinse with
fresh water.
7. Use a non-abrasive anbacterial cleaner to clean the basin, jet cases, drain stopper, and
light casing, followed by a rinse with fresh water.

Disinfection
1. Spray surface of the jet covers, impellers/rotors, and basin unl throughly coated with an
EPA-registered disinfectant.
2. Allow to set for the required disinfecon contact period (refer to manufacturer specs).
3. Rinse surfaces with fresh water.
Re-Assembly
1. Dry the jet covers, impellers/rotors, and basin.
2. Reinstall the impeller (magnet will hold it in place).
3. Reinstall the jet cover by placing it at the 10 o’clock posion. Maintain even pressure and
rotate jet cover to securely lock in place at the 3 or 9 o’clock posion.
NOTE: You will feel the cover click into place.
Jets will not run if not locked into place properly.
CAUTION
- Always refer to your state and local codes for specic cleaning requirements.
- NEVER USE abrasive cleaners on any surface area. Failure to comply can cause damage
and void your warranty.
Foot Bath Additives
Provide an enhanced pedicure experience with essenal oils, aromatherapy products, and other
addives, knowing all residue can be easily removed. The Sanijet® foot bath can be used with
most foot and skin care products, provided that the cleaning protocols are strictly followed.
Products NOT Recommended
• Silicate based bath addives/scrubs - may void warranty.
• High foam agents (use only low foam soluons).
• Abrasive cleaners that might damage the system components, and scratch/dull the basin
surface (major scratches will require professional renishing.
• To avoid discoloraon, products with petroleum disllates must not remain on surfaces.
CAUTION
DO NOT USE acetone, paint thinner, bleach, “Armor All” type cleaners, or industrial
cleaners. These will damage the upholstery’s protecve coang.
Do not place nail care products on the tub.
Extended exposure to chemicals can damage the basin, footpad, and/or upholstery.
Failure to comply with all cleaning instrucons can cause damage to your foot bath
and pedicure chair, and void the warranty.
DANGER: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Always unplug this furnishing from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
Your pedicure chair is relavely maintenance free. However, to ensure your chair will connue
to funcon properly and keep its appearance, we recommend the following.
Category Care Recommendation
Upholstery
Remove day-to-day dirt and smudges with a mild soap and water soluon.
For tough stains and to disinfect, use a (100 to 1) water to bleach soluon.
Spray a damp cloth with the soluon to clean.
Aer each cleaning, gently wipe the upholstery with a damp cloth and clean
water, then allow upholstery to air dry before using or storing.
For more dicult stains, please contact your dealer or please call us directly
for guidance. For best results, use only the products suggested above.
Laminate &
Avonite
Never use abrasive cleaners. A mild liquid detergent and warm water will
clean soiled surfaces. To avoid discoloraon, cleaners containing petroleum
disllates must not remain on surfaces.
Electronics An-stac electronic aerosol dusters can be used to keep the surfaces of
electronic components, power cables, and plugs free of dust.
Lubricaon &
Mechanical
If necessary, lubricate wheel joints, casters, and other mechanical parts with
a light machine oil. Periodically check and ensure all visible bolts remain
ghtened.

not aempt to repair the issue yourself. This can void your warranty.

plugging in again.
Excessive Noise
from Jets
1. Remove jet assembly and inspect for dirt buildup, debris, or damage.
2. Follow cleaning instrucons or replace if necessary.
Water Leakage
1. Check and ensure all visible bolts are ghtened.
2. Call a plumber to determine the source of the leak.
3. If the leak is from the jet system, contact LEC customer service.

Owner’s Record
Warranty Information
Living Earth Cras (LEC) oers an industry best warranty against defects in materials, design,
and workmanship, to the original owner, as follows:
• Frame - lifeme warranty*
• Foam and upholstery covering - warranted for three (3) years
• Motors, controls, electronics - warranted for two (2) years, including parts and labor
• Accessories and opons - warranted for one (1) year, unless otherwise noted
LEC may repair or replace defecve components at our discreon. LEC will return the warranted
product, standard shipping pre-paid, to customers in the connental US. Internaonal customers
are responsible for any applicable dues and taxes, as well as all shipping charges inbound and
outbound. Normal wear and tear, and costs associated with maintenance procedures, and
damage caused by accident, misuse, improper maintenance, harsh operang environments or
neglect (which includes tears in the upholstery and damage caused by harsh chemical-based
cleaners) are not covered under this warranty. All warranes are limited to repair or replacement,
at LEC’s discreon, unless otherwise stated.
*Lifeme warranty applies to the original owner or for 5 years aer the model is disconnued,
or 5 years for private label chairs.
Does the Contour have backow prevenon?
Yes - see pages 10-11 in Installaon Manual for backow prevenon details.
Do I sll have to install backow prevenon on my main water supply line?
This is enrely dependent on your local and/or state codes. A licensed plumber with knowledge of
your local and/or state codes can answer this queson for you.
Do we need to install a p-trap?
Check with the licensed plumber performing the install. It is dependent on your drain locaon.
Can you provide a leer to my city inspector stang my electrical and/or plumbing setup is
acceptable?
Unfortunately not. In this document, we have provided all the informaon that a licensed plumber
and electrician would need to perform the proper install that adheres to local and state codes. Living
Earth Cras does not have knowledge of all local and state codes and therefore is not qualied to
advise on individual setup quesons. If an inspector has quesons about how your plumbing and/
or electrical is being set up, you will need to contact your plumber and/or electrician.
Does the Contour have GFI/GFCI built in?
There are no GFI/GFCIs built in to the system - we require a GFCI protected grounded circuit to
supply power to the Contour.
