EnergySavingTips
The appliance should be placed in the coolest area of the
room. Avoid placing the appliance near any heat producing
appliances, heating ducts or in direct sunlight
Do not keep keep hot food directly into the refrigerator. Let
the food cool down to room temperature before keeping it in
the refrigerator. Overloading the appliance may cause the
compressor to run for a longer time. Foods that freeze at a
slower rate may loose quality or get spoilt early.
Be sure to wrap the food properly and wipe the containers dry
before placing them in the appliance. This cuts down on frost
build up in the appliance.
Appliance storage bin should not be lined with aluminium foil,
wax paper or toilet paper. Liners interfere with the cold air
circulation in the appliance making the refrigerator less
efficient.
Organize and label food to reduce door openings and
extended searches. Remove as many as items needed at one
time and close the door as soon as possible.
