INTRODUCTION
EXS1… and EXS3… are electronic current transformers suitable to be installed immediately
downstream of the miniature circuit breakers thanks to their compact size. Available for single-phase
or three-phase loads, the diameter and pitch of the passage holes have been designed to be in line
with the ones of the MCBs. They connect to the EXS4000 current measurement module via pre-wired
2 meter RJ45 cable, thus making the connection fast and fail-safe. EXS3... can be programmed to
manage even single-phase loads.
VORWORT
EXS1… und EXS3… sind elektronische Stromwandler, die dank ihrer kompakten Abmessungen
unmittelbar hinter thermomagnetischen Schutzschaltern installiert werden können. Sie sind für
Einphasen- und Dreiphasen-Verbraucher erhältlich, und der Durchmesser und der Abstand der
Durchgangslöcher sind auf den Durchmesser der thermomagnetischen Schutzschalter abgestimmt.
Sie werden über ein vorverdrahtetes, 2m langes RJ45-Kabel mit dem Strommessmodul EXS4000
verbunden; dadurch wird eine schnelle und sichere Verbindung gewährleistet. EXS3... können auch
für Einphasen-Verbraucher programmiert werden.

INSTALLATION
 The EXS… must be installed respecting the direction of the active power indicated by the arrow on
the front cover.
 Install the electronic CT possibly immediately downstream of the MCB which interrupts the line to
be monitored.
 If necessary, it is possible to fix the electronic CT with ties using the special slots provided on the
housing.
 A green LED indicates the correct power supply of the current transformer, regardless of the
direction of the power.
INSTALLATION
 Die Installation der EXS… muss unter Berücksichtigung der Richtung der Wirkleistung, die durch
den Pfeil auf dem vorderen Typenschild vorgegeben wird, erfolgen.
 Den elektronischen Stromwandler möglichst unmittelbar hinter dem MCB (LS-Schalter) zur
Unterbrechung der zu überwachenden Leitung positionieren.
 Falls erforderlich, kann der elektronische Stromwandler mit Schellen über die am Gehäuse
vorgesehenen Langlöcher befestigt werden.
 Eine grüne LED zeigt die korrekte Versorgung des Stromwandlers unabhängig von der Richtung
der Leistung an.
