INTRODUCTION
EXS1… and EXS3… are electronic current transformers suitable to be installed immediately
downstream of the miniature circuit breakers thanks to their compact size. Available for single-phase
or three-phase loads, the diameter and pitch of the passage holes have been designed to be in line
with the ones of the MCBs. They connect to the EXS4000 current measurement module via pre-wired
2 meter RJ45 cable, thus making the connection fast and fail-safe. EXS3... can be programmed to
manage even single-phase loads.
INTRODUCTION
EXS1… e EXS3… sont des transformateurs de courant électroniques qui, grâce à leurs dimensions
compactes, peuvent être installés immédiatement en aval des disjoncteurs magnétothermiques.
Disponibles pour les charges monophasées ou triphasées, le diamètre et le pas des trous de
passage ont été conçus pour correspondre à celui des disjoncteurs modulaires magnétothermiques.
Ils se connectent au module de mesure de courants EXS4000 via un câble RJ45 précâblé de 2
mètres, ce qui rend la connexion rapide et sûre. EXS3... peuvent également être programmés pour
gérer des charges monophasées.

INSTALLATION
 The EXS… must be installed respecting the direction of the active power indicated by the arrow on
the front cover.
 Install the electronic CT possibly immediately downstream of the MCB which interrupts the line to
be monitored.
 If necessary, it is possible to fix the electronic CT with ties using the special slots provided on the
housing.
 A green LED indicates the correct power supply of the current transformer, regardless of the
direction of the power.
INSTALLATION
 Les EXS… doivent être installés en respectant le sens de la puissance active indiqué par la flèche
sur la plaque frontale.
 Positionner le TI électronique si possible immédiatement en aval du MCB interrompant la ligne à
surveiller.
 Si nécessaire, le TI électronique peut être fixé à l'aide de colliers de serrage en utilisant les fentes
prévues sur le boitier.
 Une LED verte indique l'alimentation correcte du transformateur de courant, quel que soit le sens
de la puissance.
