Active suckling in child development
Proper suckling has a strong impact on health child development. By giving the Little
One the breast we’re in effect obligating him to quite a trying activity. It is a demanding
activity (in particular for his lip and tongue muscles) resulting in independent drawing
of food from the breast. During correct, active suckling the infant maintains the proper
pattern of suckling-swallowing-breathing. While breast feeding or bottle feeding it is
important to ensure the active suckling process. It has a direct impact on:
• proper swallowing (without dripping and chocking)
• proper breathing (effective breathing through the nose)
• correct orthodontic development
• future speech development
• limiting effects of colic

Thanks to innovative, patented technology of heterogeneous silicone layers, LOVI
dynamic teat® elongates like a mother’s nipple and enables the infant to suckle

A uniquely shaped bottle not only indicates the appropriate way of holding, but also

Active feeding – the dynamic teat® and LOVI bottle have been designer in such a way
to stimulate the baby to suckle actively Turing bottle feeding, Just as it takes place Turing
bottle feeding, which in turn stimulates proper development of your baby’s mouth.
Proper breathing – LOVI teat extracts correct lip positioning from the baby, which
teaches the baby proper breathing through the nose.
A healthy bite – a wide and easy to grasp base of the LOVI teat works against biting
the teat during feeding and supports proper and natural bite development as well as
shapes a beautiful smile.
Speech development – according to recent pediatrics research, active feeding
stimulates muscles responsible for speech development. The LOVI dynamic teat®
provides an active training for these muscles, from the very rst days of your baby’s life.
Anti-colic – a unique air release system helps the teat to reduce colic at newborns.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
LOVI Medical + Bottle

Set includes:
LOVI 150ml/250ml bottle; silicone, dynamic teat® mini 0m+; soft sealing disk. (g.
3 how to mount the soft sealing disc); screw cap - once the soft sealing disc and
screw cap are mounted; the bottle becomes an ideal container for storing food in the
refrigerator, during trips or long walks (g. 4 tipped sealed container); hood with scale
(does not apply to self - sterylizing bottles) - ideal for serving small amounts of milk,
water, medicine or any other food.
Instruction for use:
Check the bottle and its all components before each use, pull the teat in all directions.
Throw away at the rst signs of damage or weakness. Never leave the teat exposed
to the direct sunlight, high temperature or detergent for longer than recommended,
as it can damage the teat. Before rst and each use wash all parts of the bottle and
the teat, than place in boiling water (for no longer than 5 min.). Boiling (for longer than
recomended) and hard water may create lime scale effect. Remember not to screw
on the cap too tight, otherwise the teat air release system might malfunction. Always
check for leakage. After each use clean the bottle and teat from liquid remains, rinse
and wash with hot water; do not boil. It is not recommended to place the bottle and teat
in a dishwasher. Fruit juice or tea may leave stains on the bottle/teat, or create limescale
effect which does not change their properties. For safety and hygenic reasons, as well
as due to the increasing demand for food of your growing baby, it is recommended to
replace the teat at least every 2 months. Avilable LOVI dynamic teats: mini 0m+; slow
3m+; medium 6m+; fast 9m+; cross - cut 6m+; variable 3m+ (see table).
Warning! For your child’s safety and health
Always use this product under adult supervision. Do not use the teat as a soother.
Continuous and prolonged suckling of uids may cause tooth decay. Always check
the food temperature before feeding. Do not enlarge the teat holes, this may cause
damage of the teat or create choking hazard. Do not leave your baby unattended
during feeding. Product is not a toy. Keep away from reach of children when not in use.
Retain the instruction for later use. Batch code and expiry date for the teat is paced
on the packaging.
