INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the LOVI Expert 3D Pro Electric Breast Pump! It is a revolutionary breast pump
and a real expert in solving lactation problems.
Thanks to a 3D funnel closest to natural feeding, this breast pump is a breakthrough solution. The 3D funnel, unlike
classic funnels, not only sucks but also presses the nipple. The funnel surrounds the nipple and presses the breast
evenly, working in multiple dimensions simultaneously, just like a baby’s mouth, and tongue does. Even and gentle
pressure stimulates the release of prolactin, a hormone responsible for milk production, causing the milk to ow out
quickly and naturally, without discomfort.
Expert 3D Pro Breast Pump solves and helps to avoid the most common lactation problems, such as:
• nipple pain,
• breast fullness,
• milk stasis,
• mastitis,
and quickly stimulates milk production after C-section.
LOVI Expert 3D Pro Breast Pump is:
• extremely eective – the openwork 3D funnel holder increases the control of the pressure applied on the nipple;
• comfortable – allows you to express milk even in a reclining position, which is comfortable after a C-section;
• two-phase – two phases of expression reect natural baby’s suckling rhythm: stimulation phase imitates fast
suckling movements of baby stimulating milk production and let down; expression phase reects slower, deeper,
and ecient suckling.
LOVI Expert 3D Pro Breast Pump is extremely eective during dicult times.
NOTE: LOVI brand recommends breastfeeding as the healthiest feeding method. It is recommended to start using an
alternative feeding method only after consulting your medical practitioner, midwife or pharmacist if breastfeeding
is impossible or insucient.
Breast milk is the healthiest and most valuable food for newborns and babies. It is recommended as sole food given
to your baby in the rst six months of their life. After six months, it should be combined with solid foods.
NOTE! The breast pump is not intended for expressing milk when a hungry child cannot empty the breast themselves, i.e.
in all cases when your milk ducts are blocked.
USEFUL TIPS
When should I use a breast pump?
• If possible, wait until your lactation stabilises. Usually, it occurs within 2-4 weeks after birth. Exceptions to this
rule:
• Your breasts produce too much milk, and they become swollen and hard (breast fullness). Expressing a small
amount of milk before or during feeding can give you a relief and help your baby grasp the nipple.
• Your nipple is inverted because of the long interval between feedings.
• You have concave, at or damaged nipples (using a breast pump can improve nipple shape).
• You feel overow between feeding and do not want to wake the baby.
• The baby is sick and does not want to suckle.
• Your breasts produce too little milk, using the breast pump between feedings helps increase milk production.
• You are working, or you are away from home and want to continue breastfeeding, you should regularly express
milk using a breast pump to sustain the natural process of lactation.
How often should I express milk?
If you temporarily cannot breastfeed, it is recommended that you express milk using a breast pump at least eight
times a day. That will keep your milk production at the appropriate level. In the beginning, it may be dicult for
you to express more milk, but after a few days, you will be able to express more. Even with stable lactation, the
possibility of expressing milk in one session is slighter (30-60 ml), therefore to collect one portion of milk, you may
require several expressing sessions.
