1 Purpose of this TechNote
This document describes how to replace the dispenser unit of the ProtoMat S64/S014.
This TechNote contains specific warning messages for particular instruction steps. A
detailed documentation for the appropriate system as well as further documentations
for the software used can be found in the system documents. Please note that this
TechNote does not substitute the detailed documentation for your system.

electrical shock, and/or fire.
Only qualified electricians are allowed to work on energized parts of the system.
Prerequisites
•The system has been switched on

Step 1
Switch on machine
Start CircuitPro
Move the milling head to the middle of the
x-axis
Switch the machine off

Step 2
Open the machine hood
Remove the four screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10
Remove the upper head cover.
Remove the five screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10
Disconnect status light
Remove the lower head cover.
Step 3
Open the terminal connection CON 104
on the head pcb with a flat-bladed
screwdriver
Remove the conductors.
Cut the cable ties with the diagonal pliers.

Step 4
Remove the three screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10
Remove the dispenser.
The dispenser is removed.

Step 1
Remove the cover sheets from the old
dispenser unit using a Torx screwdriver
T8
Mount the cover sheets on the new
dispenser unit using a Torx screwdriver
T8
Mount the dispenser
Fasten the three screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10

Step 2
Replace the cable ties for the cables
Fasten the cables
Connect the dispenser
Step 3
Mount the lower head cover
Connect the status light
Fasten the five screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10
Mount the upper head cover
Fasten the four screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10
The dispenser replacement is done

