Table Tracker Implementation Guide
Congratulations! You’ve just ad t e new Table Tracker system by LRS installed in your restaurant. But, now
w at? How do you use t e system? W at do you need to know? W at does your staff need to know? W at
do your customers need to know? Well, good news, t is implementation guide will answer t ese questions
and more.
Installation
Installers ave setup your system and it’s ready to use. T ere’s not ing additional t at you need to install.
(Do t ey need to setup benc mark times or is t at already done?) Let’s go over a basic “How it works” so
you’ll understand t e system before we get into furt er details.
How it works:
1. W en a guest places an order, t ey receive a Table Tracker
2. T e guest determines w ere t ey will sit and places t e Table Tracker on t eir Table
3. T e Table Tracker reads t e table number and transmits it back to t e display located in t e expedite area
4. W en t e order is ready, t e food runner or expediter will reference t e display to determine w ic table
to deliver t e food
5. T e food runner delivers t e food and collects t e Table Tracker
6. T e food runner places t e Table tracker on t e clearing unit w ic removes t e order from t e display
We’ve broken down the guide into three sections
1. Order Counter
2. Expedite Area
3. Reporting
I. Order Counter
Located at t e Order Counter/cas register are t e Table Trackers w ic are stacked on t e c arger. T ese sit
next to a separate “Starter Unit”.
1. A customer places an order
2. T e cas ier enters t e order in your point of sale (POS) system. Eac Table Tracker as a unique number
on it’s label. T is number becomes t e order number and is entered into t e POS system as suc .
3. W en t e transaction is complete (and not before), t e cas ier touc es t e Table Tracker to t e Green
Starter Unit (t e table tracker will vibrate to indicate t at it’s been read) and ands t e Tracker to t e
customer wit t e receipt.
Note: In order to receive t e most accurate order delivery times in your reports, t e Table Tracker s ouldn’t
be touc ed to t e Starter Unit until t e transaction is complete.
4. T e cas ier s ould inform t e customer to place t e Tracker on t eir table.

II. Ex edite Area
In t e order expedite area you’ll ave an touc screen order display t at s ows all active orders you’ll
also ave a laminated table layout. Food runners will reference t e t e table layout and s ould commit it to
memory. T ey will be able to deliver orders muc quicker w en t ey’ve memorized t e layout.
1. W en a Table Tracker is placed on t e starter unit, it appears on t e display and a timer is begun.
T e table number will not appear until t e customer as placed t e Tracker on t eir table.
2. As orders are ready for delivery, food runners must reference t e display screen and t e laminated table
layout to determine w ere to deliver t e order
3. Food runner delivers order to t e appropriate table and collects t e table tracker
4. Food runner t en returns t e Tracker to t e Clearing Unit located at t e expedite area (t e optional portable
clearing unit w ic is carried in t eir pocket may also be used)
5. Once t e Tracker as been cleared, stack t e units near t e expedite area. However, take care to make sure
t e stack is a minimum of 6” from t e clearing unit. Failure to do so will create interference wit t e system
t at may cause subpar performance
6. As t e stack of cleared Table Trackers grows, return t em periodically to t e c arger near t e cas register
for re-use.
Order colors and what they mean:
W en a Table Tracker is touc ed to t e starter unit, a timer is started for t at order and it will appear on t e
order display located in t e expedite area. T ere are t ree colors t at elp you keep track of orders and
w ere t eir times are in reference to your benc mark times. T e benc mark times may be adjusted to your
operation. See t e user manual for assistance.
W en an order is touc ed to t e starter unit, it will appear in green until t e first benc mark is reac ed.
Green: order time as begun and is wit in t e benc mark time
Yellow: order as reac ed t e intermediate benc mark and is approac ing t e final benc mark time, you
s ould take notice and necessary actions to complete t e order.
Red: order as exceeded t e final benc mark time, action s ould be taken to get t e order to t e guest ASAP
III. Re orting
Reporting gives you valuable insig t into t e istorical performance of your staff by giving you a variety of
reports t at can be configured to specific date ranges.

-Reorient or relocate t e receiving antenna.
-Increase t e separation between t e equipment and receiver.
-Connect t e equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from t at to w ic t e receiver is connected.
-Consult t e dealer or an experienced radio/ TV tec nician for elp.
CAUTION:
Any c anges or modifications not expressly approved by t e grantee of t is device could void t e user's au-
t ority to operate t e equipment.
T is Class B digital apparatus complies wit Canadian ICES-003 and RSS-210.
Operation is subject to t e following two conditions: (1) t is device may not cause interference, and (2) t is
device must accept any interference, including interference t at may cause undesired operation of t e de-
vice.
