Basic instructions
PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING ASSEMBLY!
References to right and left are determined bystanding at therear of the machineandfacing thedirectionof travel.
NOTE: When referring to the instructions for callout references, the numeric (example: (1)) refers to item (1) in the
kit contents bill of materials. The letter (example: (A)) refers to the component on the unit, not a component in the kit
contents bill of materials.
NOTE: Using the hardware torque chart, torque all hardware to the specified torque unless otherwisespecified
within
the instructions.
NOTE: Using the hydraulic fitting torque chart, torque all fittings to the specified torque unless otherwise specified
within the instructions.
NOTICE: Do not tighten the hardwareuntil instructed to in the assemblyinstructions.
NOTICE: Be sure to use the hardware specified when using tapped holes as trying to install a metric bolt in an inch
thread or an inch bolt in a metric thread will damage the threads.
NOTE: Install flat washersover all slotted holes unless truss-heador carriage bolts are used. Install a lock washer
on all bolts unless a jam nut or self-locking nut is specified.
NOTE: Install special hardened washers where specified.

3 - GENERAL INFORMATION
Safety rules - Personal Safety
Carefully study these precautions, and those included in the external attachment
operators manual, and insist that they be followed by those working with and for you.
1.Thoroughly read and understand this manual and the attachment operators manual before operating this or any
other equipment.
2.Be sure everyone is clear of the machine before starting. Blow the horn, if equipped, three times before starting
engine.
3.Only the operator should be on the machine when in operation. Never allow anyone to climb on to the machine
while it is in motion. If the machine is equipped with an Instructors Seat, this must only be used for training purposes.
Passengers must not be allowed to use the Instructors Seat.
4.Keep all shields in place. Never work around the machineor any of the attachmentswhile wearing loose clothing
that mightcatch on movingparts.
5. Observethe followingprecautions whenever lubricatingthe machineor making adjustments.
•Disengage all clutchinglevers or switches.
•Lower the attachment,if equipped, to the ground or raise the attachmentcompletelyand engage the cylinder
safety locks . Completingthese actions will prevent the attachmentfrom lowering unexpectedly.
•Engage the parking brake.
•Shut off the engine and removethe key.
6. Alwayskeep the machinein gear while going downhill.
7. The machineshould always be equipped with sufficientfront or rear axle weight for safe operation.
8.Under some field conditions,more weight may be required at the front or rear axle for adequate stability.This is
especially importantwhen operating in hilly conditions or/when using heavy attachments.
9.Always lower the attachment,shut off the engine, set the parking brake, engage the transmissiongears and
remove the key before leaving the operators platform.
10.If the attachment or machineshould become obstructedor plugged; set the parking brake, shut off the engine
and remove the key, engage the transmission gears, wait for all machine or attachment motion to come to a stop,
before leaving the operators platformto removing the obstruction or plug.
11.Never disconnect or make any adjustmentsto the hydraulic system unless the machineand/or the attachmentis
lowered to the ground or the safety lock(s) is in the engaged position.
12. Use of the flashing lights is highly recommended when operating on a public road.
13.When transporting on a road or highway, use accessory lights and devices for adequate warning to the
operators of other vehicles. In this regard, check local government regulations. Various safety lights and
devices are available from your LS Tractor dealer.
14. Practicesafety 365 days a year.
15. Keep all your equipment in safe operating condition.
16. Keep all guardsand safety devices in place.
17.Always set the parking brake, shut off the engine and remove the key, engage the transmissiongears, wait for
all machine or attachmentmotionto cometo a stop, before leaving the operators platform to service the
machineand attachment.
18. Remember: A careful operator is the best insurance against an accident.
19. Extreme care should be taken in keeping hands and clothing away from movingparts.

4-1. TIE-ROD CIRCLIP ADJUSTMENT
WARNING
Maintenance hazard!
Before performing any maintenance or inspection:
-position machine on a firm, level surface
-turn off the engine
-remove the ignition key
-secure the machine (wheels chocked)
-disconnect the wiring
(unless instructed otherwise)
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

2. Turn the clip so that the direction of the
clamp matches the top of the
tie-rod end.
3. To do the same job on right tie-rod.

4-2. STOPPER BOLT ADJUSTMENT (38mm -> 41mm)
WARNING

1. Measure the length of the stopper bolt.
38mm (1.50 inch)

2. Loosen the M12 locking nut.
3. Loosen the stopper bolt so that the length of the
stopper bolt is 41mm. (1.61inch)

5. Check again that the length of the stopper bolt is
41 mm. (1.61inch)
6. To do the Same job on right stopper bolt.
