Dear Customer, Thank you for having a speaker LSS, the standard production Series ARRAY
‘highly professional and provides the user with a high reliability ‘in time. All speakers comply
with a production control at various stages of process and each component is tested individ-
ually. Each speaker LSS uses components with tolerances of 5% and any component that
exceeds the same is discarded. The cabinet is made of birch plywood phenolic bonded with
adhesives Quick-setting, all models are covered with a special polyurethane resin resistant
weathering and scratching. The speakers used are all designed and manufactured by LSS of
specications.
A Line Array consists of a sound diffusion system composed of several units arranged vertical-
ly one below the other which allow to obtain the effect of a single source acoustic having a hor-
izontal dispersion dened (in our case 120 °) and a vertical determined by the amount of the
speakers and their inclination. In this regard it is important to properly evaluate each individual
installation because there is no standard mounting suitable at all events but, conversely, each
installation must be individualized on the basis of a number of conditions such as audience
size and position of listening to the public, positioning of the array (system hung or placed),
height positioning, total number of speakers. The array system is certainly not the ideal system
for all events and certainly not for small ones indoors. Very often it is easier sound to a club
with four conventional speakers. In conclusion we believe that the array system is a system
very precise and at the same time complex, for use with criterion and extreme accuracy.

2. INSTALLATION
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The use of these systems must always be carried out by qualied personnel n accordance
with regulations and safety standards in force. The suspension system allows the hanging of a
maximum number of 8 units for each bar. It ‘important to ensure that The anchor of the system
is carried out in a safe place, making sure that the installation the same is appropriate and has
the ability to load appropriate to the suspension or the support plant. To facilitate the accuracy
in coupling of the vertical speakers each of them incorporates a suspension kit that facilitates
installation into vertical. It ‘important to note that the system hardware, being an integral part
of the unit, is constructed so that the separation between the speakers, front axle, remains the
same.
It is important to know that all the loudspeakers hanging in public places as well as the system
main suspension, must be provided with a secondary safety system independent and ade-
quate load capacity. The steel cables or chains must be exclusively certied.
The Line Array, composed of speakers ST17e by SB17 subwoofer is designed to be stacked
or hung.

THE SUSPENSION BAR
The bar is made of bent steel in 30/10 and is designed to support large loads. It is equipped
with a central suspension point and 2-point front. The central bar has a series of holes with
diameter 16 mm which serve as adjustment. the point Lifting chosen will determine the angle
of inclination of the entire array. The line in which pass the two anchor points passes through
the center of gravity of the system hung so as to ensure a suspension aligned and balanced.
As an alternative to suspension on one point you can stop the system using the 3-point two
front and one in the middle, using chains or straps with snap hooks relative or the three anchor
points can be separately coupled to different motors for the suspension so as to distribute the
load and enable the entire array to be tilted within certain limits. The suspension bar can also
be used for the conguration system supported using the adjustable feet for leveling.

USING THE SYSTEM HARDWARE
The Line Array system is equipped with a hardware suspension on the front and on the back of
the speakers. On both sides of the front of the speaker there are two metal bars front. These
bars are positioned towards the upper chest. Hooking these two bars with the specic pins, it
has the possibility of attaching the speaker to the upper chest. Centrally in the rear the diffuser
is a metal bar rotatable aluminum necessary to determine the angle between two cabinets.
The rear bracket has a corresponding set of holes angle of 1.25 ° per hole. The maximum tilt
angle is 10 °. Once the complete lifting of the array is nished, the bar must be secured against
rotation. To use the system conguration supported in the procedure is the same.

WARNING
Before use, check that all components, including the lifting chains, bars suspension, the cabi-
net, the hardware of the suspension of those etc. are free of cracks, deformation, corrosion, or
wear that could affect the proper and safe installation. If in verifying there is damage or there is
any doubt about the integrity and safety of a single piece, this for any reason should be used.
Must be checked on a regular and rigorous on suspension components.
LSS is exempt from any liability ‘and / or damage to accidents caused by failure to ex-
pertise in the installation and / or suspension of loudspeakers in any situation.

4. WARRANTY
GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE
This product is warranted by LSS for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase
under the terms and conditions of this warranty .The LSS covers material and manufacturing
defects. The warranty comes into force only if the warranty certicate is fully and correctly
completed by a LSS dealer.
The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:
- speakers
- damage resulting from improper handling , lack of care accidents or normal wear
- possible consequential damage resulting e.g. from defects , use , inaccurracy
- transport.
In case of defects covered by the warranty,your product will be repaired by LSS or authorized
LSS dealer. Any further claims against LSS e.g. compensation for damage, withdrawal from
the purchase contract or refund of the purchase price are excluded. Your dealer carries re-
sponsability only for any other guarentees.
The warranty becomes void in the event of servicing or repair of the product by any person not
duly authorized by LSS or its representatives.
The above manufacturer’s warranty does not effect the purchaser’s rights against the seller
nor any other statutary rights the purchaser may have.
