Safety Instructions
Always adhere to all warnings and cau�ons. Below are
the safety instruc�ons, please read these warnings
carefully before using!

This is an electrical device. To reduce the risk of serious
or fatal iury from electric shock:
1. DO NOT touch the device should it fall into

DO NOT use Lumia Experto Device - if any of
the following apply to you:

.Use a pacemaker or internal debrillator.
.Have metal implants in treatment area. (This
does not apply to dental llings or implants.
.Current - or history of - cancer, especially skin
cancer or premalignant moles.
.Severe concurrent condions such as cardiac
disorders.
.Pregnant or nursing.

.Impaired immune system due to
immunosuppressive diseases, or using
immunosuppressive medicaƟons.
.Any diseases sƟmulated by heat, such as
recurrent Herpes Simplex (within the treatment
area).
.Any acƟve skin condiƟon within treatment area.
.History of abnormal wound healing or fragile
skin.
.Any surgical procedure, laser resurfacing or deep
chemical peeling within the treatment area in
past 3 months or sƟll undergoing a process of
complete healing.
.Current use of medicaƟons, herbal preparaƟons,
vitamins or food supplements that may cause
fragile or dry skin.

Overview
Lumia has combined Radio Frequency Technology,
Medical LED Technology and far infrared technology to
present to you The Lumia Experto Device.
Lumia Experto is a safe, eective and simple to use
clinical skin device that brings professional results from
a professional clinic to the comfort of your home,
delivering genuine, noceable and long-lasng results.
This device comes with two detachable heads, one for
the face and one for the neck for the ulmate skin
revenaon.
The Radio Frequency Technology is an innovaon that
ulizes Radio Frequency (RF) to heat ssue of the
dermis (upper layer of the skin) to ghten the skin and
improve the appearance of wrinkles and ne lines.
This device smulates the natural producon of
collagen and elasn within the skin, and also increases
blood circulaon, this prolongs the results of naturally
smoother and rmer skin.
The Lumia Experto device sensor can only detect the
temperature of the outer layer of your skin (the epidermis)
which can rise to 44 degrees, but the inner layer of your skin
(the hypodermis) temperature can rise up to a maximum of
50 degrees.

The Medical LED OR Medical Light emitting diodes are
semiconductor devices that release light of dierent
wavelengths, when an electric current passes through.
Red light or far infrared technology has been widely
used by dermatologists and skin care professionals for
its remarkable benets for many years. The Red Light is
used for treang the epidermis, which is the outer layer
of skin. When the light is applied to your skin, the
epidermis absorbs the light this stimulates collagen
proteins.
Specic wavelengths from the light enhancethe
overall cellular energy, increasing your body’s natural
producon of collagen and elasn.
This Red Light Therapy enhances the collagen in your skin,
to make it look smoother and fuller, which can reduce the
appearance of ne lines and wrinkles. This light is also
said to be good for inammaon while improving
circulaon giving a healthier look to the skin.

It is used to control the Far Infrared & Medical
LED option. The outer ring is a visible light and
the inner ring is the invisible light.

works simultaneously.

buon can be used to reduce the me, each
press will minus a minute.
RIGHT BUTTON:
It is used to control the RF opon.
The temperature of the RF will rise to the highest
temperature after the rst 15-20 seconds into
the treatment.

How to Use
To operate the device as it is functioned, follow the
points below:
1. Turn the LUMIA Experto device ON by pressing
the Power Buon located in the middle of the
device (you only need to press it once). When
the device is on it will display the company
logo, me, baery percentage and temperature
the LED screen.
2. By pressing the power buon again, you will
then adst the me to a me that suits
you.(the longest working me is 15
minutes).The default switching me is 15
minutes.

Treatment Tips
1. It is recommended to perform a patch test 24
hours prior to inial use. Apply a small amount
of the LUMIA RF gel to inner arm and treat the
area with the LUMIA Experto device. Ensure that
the skin does not have a bad reacon to the gel or
treatment.
2. Leaving the device on the same spot without
movement might result in skin overheating and
possible burns. Connuous movement is
important for the comfort and safety of your
skin.
3. Slow, circular, constant movements are more
eecve than quick movements. The slower
the movement, the faster the treatment area
will begin to heat internally.

BEFORE TREATMENT:
Cleanse the area.The area should be cleared of
all creams and ointments.
Lumia RF Gel must be applied before treatment.
Spread a thin layer over the treatment area.
dt the time setting that suits you, we recommend
between 15-20 minutes.
COURSE OF TREATMENT:
Make sure you have at least a one day break
between treatments on the same treatment
area.
POST TREATMENT:
Turn device OFF.
Gently clean your skin.
Clean the LUMIA Experto device with a soft,
damp cloth or paper towel and return it to the
protective base.

INDICATIONS OF SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT:
As a natural result of treatment, the skin may show
some redness and minor skin swelling in the treatment
area. Both should disappear aer a short me.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:
The following side eects are rare, however, in the
event that they do occur, they are usually temporary.
However, if any of the following conditions appear and
last more than 24 hours, consult your physician.
Prolonged pain
Damage to natural skin texture (crusng, blister,
burn)
Fragile skin
Bruising

Troubleshooting
In the event that your LUMIA Experto device is not
working and prior to contacng the service center, take
the following precauons:
1. Make sure you have removed the device’s
protecve cover before use.
2. Make sure the baery is fully charged before
use.
3. Make sure the detachable head is connected to
the device properly.
4. Make sure power buon was pressed.
5. Make sure you have applied the LUMIA
RF gel according to the instrucons above.
The LUMIA device will not work properly if RF
gel is not applied.
