Dear customer,
Congratulations on purchasing a high-quality MAGINON
product.
You have chosen a modern 360° panorama camera with
excellent technical equipment and the relevant accessories,
which is particularly easy to operate.
The 360° panorama camera comes with a 3 year warranty.
In the event of a fault with the 360° panorama camera, you
will need the enclosed warranty card and proof of purchase.
Keep these in a safe place.

General
Read and retain these instructions
These operating instructions are for the 360°
panorama camera (referred to below only as
“panorama camera”). They contain important
information about start-up and how to operate the camera.
Read these operating instructions, and in particular the
safety information, carefully before using the panorama
camera. Failure to observe these operating instructions may
lead to loss of data or damage to the 360° panorama camera.
These operating instructions are based on standards and
regulations that apply in the European Union. Also observe
specific guidelines and laws for any country where the
camera will be used.
Please retain these operating instructions for further
reference. If you pass the panorama camera on to third
parties, please also include these operating instructions.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in these
operating instructions, on the camera or on the product
packaging.
DANGER!
This symbol/word indicates a high-level risk hazard which, if
not avoided, may cause death or serious injury.

avoided, may cause death or serious injury.
CAUTION!
This symbol/word indicates a low-level hazard which, if not

Devices with this sign may only be operated
indoors (in a dry environment).
Products marked with this sign may not
have a protective earth terminal. Electrical
safety is ensured by additional insulation. All
live components must have at least double
insulation.

by direct current.
The adapter delivered with the 360°
panorama camera is classified as level VI
under the US efficiency standard.
Correct use
The panorama camera is designed only as a panorama
camera. It is intended for private use only and not for
commercial purposes.
Only use the panorama camera as described in these
operating instructions. Any other use is considered to be
incorrect and may cause material damage and loss of data.
This panorama camera is an entertainment electronics
device.
The manufacturer or retailer cannot accept any liability for
damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
This 360° camera is designed to record 360° panoramas
as photos or videos and to save them on a memory card, or
transfer them live onto YouTube or Facebook.
The panorama camera may not be modified under any
circumstances. Damage caused by improper use is solely the
responsibility of the user.

Safety information
WARNING!
Danger of injury!
In order to prevent injuries, this camera must be securely
attached to the floor/wall as outlined in the installation
instructions.
WARNING!
Danger of electrocution!
Faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage may
cause electrocution.
− Do not operate the panorama camera in the event
of visible damage or if the USB cable or mains plug is
defective.
− Only connect panorama camera to an easily accessible
socket, allowing quick disconnection from the power
supply in case of a fault.
− If the panorama camera’s USB cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service or
a similar qualified person.
− Do not open the housing. Have the repair carried out by
an expert. Contact a specialist workshop. All liability and
warranty claims shall be void in the event of incorrect
cable insertion/connection, improper use or repairs that
have been carried out by users themselves.

− The panorama camera may not be operated with an
external timer or separate remote control system.
− Never immerse the panorama camera or USB cable or plug
in water or other fluids. Do not place objects filled with
liquid, such as vases, on the device while it is connected to
a mains adapter.
− Do not expose the panorama camera to any sprayed or
dripping water.
− Keep the panorama camera, the mains plug and USB cable
away from open flames and hot surfaces.
− Never place sources of ignition, such as burning candles,
on or near the panorama camera.
− Install the USB cable in such a way that it does not become
a trip hazard.
− Do not cover the panorama camera directly with a jacket,
towel or similar, in order to avoid a build-up of heat.
− Do not kink the USB cable and do not lay it over sharp
edges.
− Never use the USB cable as a carrying handle.
− Only use a power adapter with the mains voltage specified
on the data plate. Otherwise there is a danger of fire or
electrocution. Disconnect the power supply from the
socket.
− The power supply cannot be used during thunderstorms.
Otherwise there is a danger of electrocution.
− Never touch the panorama cameras, power supply or USB
cable with wet hands.
− Never use the panorama camera in damp areas or in the
rain.
− Never try to retrieve the panorama camera if it has fallen
into water.

− Ensure that children do not push objects into the
panorama camera.
− Please restart camera in case of product failure due to
static discharges or fluctuations in power.
WARNING!
Danger of explosion
The battery must not be exposed to excessive heat, such
as extreme sunshine, fire or similar, as there is a danger of
explosion.
− Do not swallow the battery as there is a danger of
chemical burns.
− Keep the battery away from children.
− Do not short-circuit the panorama camera.
− Do not strike or pierce the panorama camera, as the
battery acids may leak out and cause serious burns.
− Never use the panorama camera in environments with
explosive or inflammable materials. There is a danger of
fire and explosion.
− If you suspect that you or your child has come into
contact with the battery acids, seek medical assistance
immediately.
− Observe the limitations or prohibitions of use for power-
pack or battery-powered devices in places with separate
hazardous areas, such as filling stations, aircraft, hospitals,
and so on.
− Have the panorama camera’s battery replaced by a
qualified person only, to avoid hazards.

− Disposal of the battery: Old or discharged batteries must
be disposed of or recycled correctly in accordance with
all applicable laws. Detailed information is available from
your municipal waste disposal department.
− Never touch leaking batteries without the proper
protection. If the battery acid comes into contact with skin,
wash the area thoroughly with soap and water.
− Prior to disposal, the batteries must first be removed and
disposed of separately.
− Avoid battery acid coming into contact with your eyes. If
battery acid does come into contact with your eyes, rinse
liberally with water and contact a doctor immediately.
− Keep children younger than eight away from the
panorama camera and accessories.
− Ensure that children do not push objects into the
panorama camera.
WARNING!
Hazardous for children and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities (including those with partial
disability, and the elderly who have limited physical and
mental capacity) or who lack the appropriate experience
and know-how (such as teenagers).
− This panorama camera may be used by children 8 years
or older and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental abilities or lack of experience or know-
how provided that they are supervised or have been
instructed on how to safely use the panorama camera
and understand the hazards resulting therefrom. Children
must not play with the panorama camera. The camera
should not be cleaned or maintained by children without
supervision.

− Keep packaging foil away from children. It may pose a
choking hazard.
NOTE!
Danger of material damage!
Incorrect use of the panorama camera may result in damage to
the camera.
− Do not leave the panorama camera unattended during
operation.
− Never place the panorama camera on or near hot surfaces
(e.g. stove tops, etc.).
− Ensure that the USB cable/power supply does not come
into contact with hot parts.
− Never expose the panorama camera to high temperatures
(heating, etc.). Never pour liquids into the panorama
camera.
− Do not use panorama camera if plastic or metal parts of
the camera show cracks or ruptures, or are deformed.
Replace damaged parts with original spare parts only.
− When cleaning, never immerse the panorama camera
in water and do not use steam cleaners. The panorama
camera could otherwise be damaged.
− Handle the panorama camera with care. It may be
damaged by knocks, impacts or falls from low heights.
− Damage to the electronics, lens or accessories caused by
external influences such as impacts, falls or similar is not
covered by the warranty and is therefore chargeable.

WARNING!
Danger of suffocation!
Packaging material is not a toy. Keep plastic foil and packaging
away from babies and small children as they may pose a
choking hazard.
− Dispose of packaging material immediately to eliminate
the risk of harm to babies and small children.
NOTE!
Danger of damage!
The panorama camera can be easily damaged if the packaging
is carelessly opened with a sharp knife or other pointed
objects.
− Please open the packaging carefully.
1. Take the panorama camera out of the packaging.
2. Check that delivery is complete (see Fig. A).
3. Take the panorama camera out of the packaging
and check that there is no damage to the device or
components. If there is, do not use the panorama camera.
Contact the manufacturer’s service point indicated on the
warranty card.
Preparing the panorama camera
− Remove the packaging material and all protective foil.

Charging
The panorama camera can be charged with an alternating
current adapter or a power bank over a USB cable. A charge
voltage/current of at least 5V/1A is recommended. The power
LED lights up 16 red during charging by means of a USB
cable. It goes out when the battery is fully charged.
Introduction - normal operation
On/Off button
− Switch on: Keep the On/Off button 17 pressed for 3
seconds. The green display on the On/Off button 17
flashes for 8 seconds, and 2 signal tones sound. When the
video mode LED lights up 13 red, the camera is ready for
operation.
− Switch off: Keep the On/Off button 17 pressed for 3
seconds, 3 signal tones sound, and all displays are off.
The panorama camera remains in video mode
after switching on (when the device is switched
on, the red video mode LED 13 lights up
continuously).
Taking a photo
Activate the photo mode button 12 once. A signal
tone sounds and the photo mode LED 11 lights up red
continuously. The camera is now in photo mode. Press the
On/Off button briefly to take a photo 17 . The power LED 16
flashes once and 2 signal tones sound. The photo is taken and
saved to the memory card.

Recording a video
Activate the video mode button 14 once. A signal
tone sounds and the video mode LED 13 lights up red
continuously. The camera is now in video mode. Press the On/
Off button briefly to record a video 17 . A signal tone sounds
and the power LED 16 flashes while the video recording is
running. Press the On/Off button 17 again to end the video
recording. 2 signal tones sound and the green power LED 16
again lights up green continuously. The recording is made
and saved to the memory card.
Switching WiFi on and off
− WiFi on: Press the WiFi button 10 once, the WiFi LED 9
starts to flash blue rapidly and a signal tone sounds. If
the camera’s WiFi is already connected, the WiFi LED 9
lights up blue continuously. Now go to the WiFi settings on
your smartphone and connect the smartphone with the
camera’s WiFi (SSID: Maginon View 360). The WiFi password
for connecting the camera is “87654321”. The WiFi LED
9slowly flashes blue after successful connection of the
camera.
− WiFi off: To deactivate the WiFi, press the WiFi button 10
again. The WiFi LED 9goes out and the camera no longer
sends a WiFi signal.
Battery display
If the panorama camera’s battery has a low charge, the photo
mode LED 11 flashes red continuously. In such case, please
connect the panorama camera to the USB power supply 4
provided to charge.

Charging the internal battery
The power LED 16 lights up red when the panorama camera
is connected to a USB charging device. The red LED goes
out when the battery is fully charged. You can charge the
panorama camera by using a USB power supply unit, a USB
connection on your computer or with a power bank.
Reset
To turn off or reset the camera in the event of a problem,
insert a thin object (e.g. a paper clip) into the opening of the
reset button 15 . The camera will be turned off. Then turn the
camera on again.
WiFi reset
Should the camera’s WiFi password be changed, you can reset
the password by using the WiFi reset in the factory setting
“87654321”. With the camera off, press the WiFi button 10
and the On/Off button 17 at the same time. The green power
LED 16 flashes until the camera is fully switched on.
