For exible heating appliances
• When not in use, store as follows:
— Allow it to cool down before folding.
— Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
• Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the appliance has
been misused or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again.
• This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
• This appliance must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable persons who
are unable to react to overheating.
• Children under the age of three are not allowed to use this appliance due to their inability to react to
overheating.
• The appliance is not to be used by young children over the age of three unless the controls have been
pre-set by a parent or guardian, or unless the child has been adequately instructed on how to operate
the controls safely.
• Inspect switch and cord for cracks to prevent water from getting inside during washing and, during dry-
ing, the cord must be positioned to ensure that water does not ow into the switch or control.

Intended use
The appliance is intended for warming up the body in
cold environments.
SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and
all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructionsmayresultinelectricshock,reand/or

tions for future reference.
General safety warnings
• Children, handicapped persons, or anyone
who are insensitive to heat, for example a per-
son with poor blood circulation, shall refrain
from using the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance other than its
intended use.
• Never use the appliance when inside of it is
wet.
• Wear long-sleeved underwear when wearing
the appliance. Do not wear the appliance with
bare skin.
• If you sense anything unusual, switch o󰀨 the
appliance and remove the battery immediately.
• Do not let the power cable be pinched.
Damaged cable may cause electric shock.
• If any abnormality is found, contact your local
service center for repair.
• Do not use pins or like. The electric wiring
inside may be damaged.
• Keep maintenance labels and nameplate. If
they become unreadable or missing, contact
our authorized service center for repair.
• Choose appropriate temperature settings in
accordance with the usage environment for
continuous use.
• The battery cartridge, battery holder and con-
nectors must not be allowed to get wet during
washing and drying.
• The appliance can be used by children older
than 3 years and younger than 8 years under
supervision and with the control always set to
minimum temperature value.
• Be careful not to touch the same part of the
skin with the heating section for a long time. If
the heating section touches the same part of the
skin for a long time, there is a possibility of low
temperature burns even at a relatively low tem-
perature (40 to 60 °C).
• Stop using the appliance you feel it is hot.
• Never use the appliance while you are
sleeping.
• In order to avoid the possibility of heatstroke,
disconnect the clothing when moving to
an environment having signicantly higher
temperature.
• Check carefully on the marking in the inter-
nal part of the cloth. Do not insert pins on the
cloth from external or internal parts.
• Remove the batteries from the appliance
before charging.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the appli-
ance and dispose of them safely.
• Before storing the appliance, remove the
batteries.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
• Store the appliance in a place where pets can-
not touch.
Washing
• When washing the appliance, follow the
instructions in the caution tag on the
appliance.
• Before cleaning the appliance, remove the bat-
tery holder and the battery cartridge and then
place the power cable in the battery pocket
and close the fastener.
Work area safety
• Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or
dark areas increase accident risk.
Electrical safety
• Do not expose the appliance to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering the appliance may
increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the appliance.
Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges.
• Do not connect power source to USB port.

• Always place the cover onto the USB port
when not charging the lower voltage device.
• Do not insert a nail, wire, etc. into USB power

• Never use the appliance when the cord or plug
is damaged.
• Always use the battery holder specied by
Makita.
• Do not leave any cord disconnected while the
battery power is supplied. Young children may
put the live plug in their mouth and cause injury.
• Do not connect the plug of the battery holder
to appliances other than the appliance speci-
ed by Makita.
• Have servicing performed by a qualied repair
person using only identical replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the product is
maintained.
• Do not modify or attempt to repair the appli-
ance or the battery pack except as indicated in
the instructions for use and care.
Personal safety
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when using the appliance. Do
not use the appliance while you are tired or
under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or med-
ication. A moment of inattention while using the
appliance may result in serious personal injury.
Flexible heating appliances use and care
• Do not use the appliance if the switch does not
turn it on and o󰀨. Any appliance that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must
be repaired.
• Maintain the appliance. Check for breakage of
parts and any other condition that may a󰀨ect
the operation. If damaged, have the appliance
repaired before use.
• Use the appliance in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the working
conditions and the work to be performed. Use

• If the fuse link has ruptured, return the appli-

Do not wring the appliance.
Battery tool use and care
1. Recharge only with the charger specied by
the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for
onetypeofbatterypackmaycreateariskofre
when used with another battery pack.
2. Use power tools only with specically desig-
nated battery packs. Use of any other battery
packsmaycreateariskofinjuryandre.
3. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal
objects, that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the battery termi-
nalstogethermaycauseburnsorare.
4. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If con-
tact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If
liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical
help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
5. Do not use a battery pack or tool that is dam-
aged or modied.Damagedormodiedbatteries
may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in
re,explosionorriskofinjury.
6. Do not expose a battery pack or tool to re or
excessive temperature.Exposuretoreortem-
perature above 130 °C may cause explosion.
7. Follow all charging instructions and do not
charge the battery pack or tool outside the
temperature range specied in the instruc-
tions. Charging improperly or at temperatures
outsidethespeciedrangemaydamagethe
batteryandincreasetheriskofre.
Important safety instructions for
battery cartridge
1. Before using battery cartridge, read all instruc-
tions and cautionary markings on (1) battery
charger, (2) battery, and (3) product using
battery.
2. Do not disassemble or tamper with the battery
cartridge.Itmayresultinare,excessiveheat,
or explosion.
3. If operating time has become excessively
shorter, stop operating immediately. It may
result in a risk of overheating, possible burns
and even an explosion.
4. If electrolyte gets into your eyes, rinse them
out with clear water and seek medical atten-
tion right away. It may result in loss of your
eyesight.
5. Do not short the battery cartridge:
(1) Do not touch the terminals with any con-
ductive material.
(2) Avoid storing battery cartridge in a con-
tainer with other metal objects such as
nails, coins, etc.
(3) Do not expose battery cartridge to water
or rain.
A battery short can cause a large current
ow, overheating, possible burns and even a
breakdown.
6. Do not store and use the tool and battery car-
tridge in locations where the temperature may
reach or exceed 50 °C (122 °F).
7. Do not incinerate the battery cartridge even if
it is severely damaged or is completely worn
out. The battery cartridge can explode in a re.
8. Do not nail, cut, crush, throw, drop the battery
cartridge, or hit against a hard object to the
battery cartridge. Such conduct may result in a
re,excessiveheat,orexplosion.

9. Do not use a damaged battery.
10. The contained lithium-ion batteries are subject
to the Dangerous Goods Legislation require-
ments.
For commercial transports e.g. by third parties,
forwarding agents, special requirement on pack-
aging and labeling must be observed.
For preparation of the item being shipped, consult-
ing an expert for hazardous material is required.
Please also observe possibly more detailed
national regulations.
Tapeormasko󰀨opencontactsandpackupthe
battery in such a manner that it cannot move
around in the packaging.
11. When disposing the battery cartridge, remove
it from the tool and dispose of it in a safe
place. Follow your local regulations relating to
disposal of battery.
12. Use the batteries only with the products
specied by Makita. Installing the batteries to
non-compliantproductsmayresultinare,exces-
sive heat, explosion, or leak of electrolyte.
13. If the tool is not used for a long period of time,
the battery must be removed from the tool.
14. During and after use, the battery cartridge may
take on heat which can cause burns or low
temperature burns. Pay attention to the han-
dling of hot battery cartridges.
15. Do not touch the terminal of the tool imme-
diately after use as it may get hot enough to
cause burns.
16. Do not allow chips, dust, or soil stuck into the
terminals, holes, and grooves of the battery
cartridge.Itmaycauseheating,catchingre,
burst and malfunction of the tool or battery car-
tridge, resulting in burns or personal injury.
17. Unless the tool supports the use near
high-voltage electrical power lines, do not use
the battery cartridge near high-voltage electri-
cal power lines. It may result in a malfunction or
breakdown of the tool or battery cartridge.
18. Keep the battery away from children.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
CAUTION: Only use genuine Makita batteries.
Use of non-genuine Makita batteries, or batteries that
have been altered, may result in the battery bursting
causingres,personalinjuryanddamage.Itwill
also void the Makita warranty for the Makita tool and
charger.
Tips for maintaining maximum
battery life
1. Charge the battery cartridge before completely
discharged. Always stop tool operation and
charge the battery cartridge when you notice
less tool power.
2. Never recharge a fully charged battery car-
tridge. Overcharging shortens the battery
service life.
3. Charge the battery cartridge with room tem-
perature at 10 °C - 40 °C (50 °F - 104 °F). Let
a hot battery cartridge cool down before
charging it.
4. When not using the battery cartridge, remove
it from the tool or the charger.
5. Charge the battery cartridge if you do not use
it for a long period (more than six months).

INSTALLATION
Charging the battery
Battery cartridges used with battery holder
Refer to the instruction manual of the charger for how to
charge the battery.
Battery BL1055B
Open the cover on the USB port. Connect the battery
and AC Power Adapter ADP07 (not included) or other
general USB charger using the USB cable supplied with
the battery. The recommended output spec for general
USB charger is 5 V / 3 A or lower. After that, plug the AC
Power Adapter ADP07 to the mains. When the charging
isnished,allbatterycapacityindicatorwilllightup
andthenturnso󰀨afteracertainperiod.UnplugtheAC
Power Adapter and disconnect the USB cable, and then
close the cover.

Installing or removing the battery
cartridge
Only when using the battery cartridge used with
battery holder
CAUTION: Always switch o󰀨 the device
before installing or removing the battery
cartridge.
CAUTION: Hold the battery holder and the
battery cartridge rmly when installing or remov-
ing the battery cartridge. Failure to hold the battery
holderandthebatterycartridgermlymaycause
them to slip out of your hands and result in damage
to the battery holder and battery cartridge and/or a
personal injury.
To install the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the
battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip
it into place. Insert it all the way until it locks in place
with a little click. If you can see the red indicator as
showninthegure,itisnotlockedcompletely.
To remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the battery
holder while pressing the button on the front of the
cartridge.

CAUTION: Always install the battery car-
tridge fully until the red indicator cannot be seen.
Otherwise the battery cartridge may accidentally
fall out of the battery holder, causing injury to you or
someone around you.
CAUTION: Do not forcibly install the battery
cartridge. If the battery cartridge does not slide in
easily, it is not being inserted correctly.
Battery pocket
The battery can be stored in the battery pocket.
Connect the plug of power cable to the battery. Then
put the battery into the battery pocket and fasten the
fastener.

NOTE: The battery holder (with battery cartridge)
cannot be stored in the battery pocket.
Attaching the battery holder
You can hang the battery holder on your waist belt.
To prevent the battery holder from dropping acciden-
tally, attach a strap using the strap hole and secure it.
1. Feed the plug through the hole in the battery
pocket and pull it through to the inside of the base layer
shirt.

2. Attach the belt hook of the battery holder to your
waist belt. Connect the plug of the power cable to the
battery holder.

The battery holder has an anti-drop function. When
removing the battery holder from the belt, pull up the
battery holder while pressing the unlock button.

FUNCTIONAL
DESCRIPTION
Power button
To turn on the base layer shirt, connect all the cables,
press and hold the power button on the battery or bat-
teryholder.Toturno󰀨,pressandholdthepowerbutton
on the base layer shirt.
NOTE: The power level indicator on the battery
holder is not used with the base layer shirt. Only the
power level indicator 4 will light up when using the
base layer shirt.

NOTE: The battery and the battery holder automat-
icallyturnso󰀨approximately1hourafterthebase

Temperature adjustment
CAUTION: For continuous operation, set the
temperature setting to “low” (blue). If the base
layer shirt is overheated, the base layer shirt may
cause a malfunction and cause an injury.
There are three temperature settings (high, medium,
low). When you switch on the base layer shirt, the tem-
perature is set to “low”. Each time you press the power
button, the temperature setting changes as shown in
thegure.Thecolorofthepowerbuttonshowsthe
current setting.

While the battery BL1055B is unplugged, press the
power button. The battery capacity indicator lights up
for a few seconds.

Battery protection system
If the remaining battery capacity is too low, the device
will not operate. When you turn the device on, the
power is supplied to the heating parts again, but stops
soon. In this situation, remove and recharge the battery
cartridge.
Connecting USB devices
CAUTION: Connect only devices that are
compatible with the USB power supply port. Not
doing so may cause a malfunction.
NOTICE: Before connecting a USB device,
always back up the data on the USB device. Not
doing so may cause a loss of your data.
NOTICE: The battery holder and Battery
BL1055B may not supply power to some USB
devices.
NOTICE: When not using or after charging,
remove the USB cable and close the cover.
NOTE: The actual output current varies depending on
the USB device to be connected.
NOTE: Battery power is consumed while the power
buttonisturnedon.Alwaysturno󰀨theswitchwhen
not in use.
NOTE: When charging multiple USB devices in suc-
cession, wait about 10 seconds after charging of the
previous device has completed before beginning to
charge the next device.
The battery holder (with the battery) and Battery
BL1055B can work as an external power supply for
USB devices.
1. Open the cover and connect a USB cable (not
included) to the USB port. Then connect the other end
of the cable to the device.
2. Start charging:
— When using battery holder (with the battery), press
and hold the power button until the power level
indicator lights up. The battery supplies DC 5 V,
2.4 A.

MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Always be sure that the base layer
shirt is switched o󰀨 and the battery cartridge is
removed before attempting to perform inspec-
tions or maintenance.
CAUTION: If the base layer shirt does not
switch on or any fault is found with a fully
charged battery cartridge, clean the terminals of
the battery holder and the battery cartridge. If the
base layer shirt still does not work properly, stop
using the base layer shirt and contact our autho-
rized service center.
NOTICE: Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner,
alcohol or the like. Discoloration, deformation or
cracks may result.
To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, any other maintenance or adjustment should
be performed by Makita Authorized or Factory Service
Centers, always using Makita replacement parts.
Cleaning the base layer shirt
• Detachthebatteryandthebatteryholderfromthe
base layer shirt before washing.
• Followtheinstructionsonthetag.
• Donotwashthebaselayershirtwithother
clothes. Doing so may cause color fading or color
transfer.
• Usealaundrynetwhenusingawashingmachine.
• Donotusethefabricsoftener.
• Useonlyneutraldetergent.
• Afterwashing,takeoutthebaselayershirtfrom
washing machine at once.
• Besuretoputthepluginthebatterypocketand
close the zip fastener before washing.

• Tenga cuidado de que la supercie de calenta-

con la misma parte de la piel, existe la posibilidad
de que se produzcan quemaduras a temperaturas
relativamente bajas (40 °C a 60 °C).
• Deje de usar el aparato cuando sienta que está

Lavado

Seguridad en el área de trabajo

Seguridad eléctrica

• No maltrate el cable. Nunca tire del cable para
transportar, jalar o desconectar el aparato.
Mantenga el cable alejado del calor, el aceite y
los bordes losos.
• No conecte la fuente de alimentación al puerto
USB. De lo contrario, podría haber un riesgo de
incendio. El puerto USB está diseñado exclusiva-
mente para cargar dispositivos de menor voltaje.
• Coloque siempre la cubierta sobre el puerto
USB cuando no vaya a cargar un dispositivo
de menor voltaje.

tos en el puerto USB de alimentación eléctrica.

Uso y cuidado de la herramienta a batería
1. Recargue sólo con el cargador especicado
por el fabricante. Un cargador que es adecuado
para un solo tipo de batería puede generar riesgo
de incendio al ser utilizado con otra batería.
2. Utilice las herramientas eléctricas solamente
con las baterías designadas especícamente
para ellas. La utilización de cualquier otra batería
puede crear un riesgo de lesiones o incendio.
3. Cuando no se esté usando la batería, mantén-
gala alejada de otros objetos metálicos, como
sujetapapeles (clips), monedas, llaves, clavos,
tornillos u otros objetos pequeños de metal
los cuales pueden actuar creando una cone-
xión entre las terminales de la batería. Originar
un cortocircuito en las terminales puede causar
quemaduras o incendios.
4. En condiciones abusivas, podrá escapar
líquido de la batería; evite tocarlo. Si lo toca
accidentalmente, enjuague con agua. Si hay
contacto del líquido con los ojos, busque asis-
tencia médica. Puede que el líquido expulsado
de la batería cause irritación o quemaduras.
5. No utilice una herramienta ni una batería que
estén dañadas o hayan sido modicadas. Las
bateríasdañadasomodicadaspodríanoca-
sionar una situación inesperada provocando un
incendio, explosión o riesgo de lesiones.
6. No exponga la herramienta ni la batería al
fuego ni a una temperatura excesiva. La expo-
sición al fuego o a una temperatura superior a los
130 °C podría causar una explosión.
7. Siga todas las instrucciones para la carga y
evite cargar la herramienta o la batería fuera
del rango de temperatura especicado en
las instrucciones. Una carga inadecuada o a
unatemperaturafueradelrangoespecicado
podría dañar la batería e incrementar el riesgo de
incendio.
Instrucciones importantes de
seguridad para el cartucho de
batería
1. Antes de utilizar el cartucho de batería, lea
todas las instrucciones e indicaciones de
precaución en el (1) el cargador de batería, (2)
la batería, y (3) el producto con el que se utiliza
la batería.
2. No desarme ni modique el cartucho de bate-
ría. Podría ocurrir un incendio, calor excesivo o
una explosión.

3. Si el tiempo de operación se ha acortado en
exceso, deje de operar de inmediato. Podría
correrse el riesgo de sobrecalentamiento,
posibles quemaduras e incluso explosión.
4. En caso de que ingresen electrolitos en sus
ojos, enjuáguelos bien con agua limpia y con-
sulte de inmediato a un médico. Esto podría
ocasionar pérdida de visión.
5. Evite cortocircuitar el cartucho de batería:
(1) No toque las terminales con ningún mate-
rial conductor.
(2) Evite guardar el cartucho de batería en un
cajón junto con otros objetos metálicos,
tales como clavos, monedas, etc.
(3) No exponga el cartucho de batería al
agua o la lluvia.
Un cortocircuito en la batería puede causar
un ujo grande de corriente, sobrecalenta-
miento, posibles quemaduras e incluso una
descompostura.
6. No guarde ni utilice la herramienta y el car-
tucho de batería en lugares donde la tempe-
ratura pueda alcanzar o exceder los 50 °C
(122 °F).
7. Nunca incinere el cartucho de batería incluso
en el caso de que esté dañado seriamente o
ya no sirva en absoluto. El cartucho de batería
puede explotar si se tira al fuego.
8. No clave, corte, aplaste, lance o deje caer el
cartucho de batería, ni golpee un objeto sólido
contra el cartucho de batería. Dicha acción
podría resultar en un incendio, calor excesivo o en
una explosión.
9. No use una batería dañada.
10. Las baterías de ión de litio están sujetas a los
requisitos reglamentarios en materia de bie-
nes peligrosos.
Para el trasporte comercial, por ej., mediante
terceros o agentes de transporte, se deben tomar
en cuenta los requisitos especiales relativos al
empaque y el etiquetado.
Para efectuar los preparativos del artículo que se
va a enviar, se requiere consultar a un experto
en materiales peligrosos. Si es posible, consulte
además otras regulaciones nacionales más deta-
lladas.
Pegue o cubra con cinta adhesiva los contactos
abiertos y empaque la batería de manera que ésta
no pueda moverse dentro del paquete.
11. Para deshacerse del cartucho de batería,
sáquelo de la herramienta y deséchelo en un
lugar seguro. Siga las regulaciones locales
relacionadas al desecho de las baterías.
12. Utilice las baterías únicamente con los pro-
ductos especicados por Makita. Instalar las
baterías en productos que no cumplan con los
requisitos podría ocasionar un incendio, un calen-
tamiento excesivo, una explosión o una fuga de
electrolito.
13. Si no se utiliza la herramienta por un
período largo, debe extraerse la batería de la
herramienta.
14. El cartucho de batería podría absorber calor
durante y después de su uso, lo que ocasiona-
ría quemaduras o quemaduras a baja tempe-
ratura. Tenga cuidado con la manipulación de
los cartuchos de batería que estén calientes.
15. No toque el terminal de la herramienta inme-
diatamente después de su uso, ya que el

Consejos para alargar al máximo
la vida útil de la batería
1. Cargue el cartucho de batería antes de que
se descargue completamente. Pare siem-
pre la operación y cargue el cartucho de
batería cuando note menos potencia en la
herramienta.
2. No cargue nunca un cartucho de batería que
esté completamente cargado. La sobrecarga
acortará la vida de servicio de la batería.
3. Cargue el cartucho de batería a una tempera-
tura ambiente de 10 °C - 40 °C (50 °F - 104 °F).
Si un cartucho de batería está caliente, déjelo
enfriar antes de cargarlo.
4. Cuando no utilice el cartucho de batería,
sáquelo de la herramienta o del cargador.
5. Cargue el cartucho de batería si no va a utili-
zarlo durante un período prolongado (más de
seis meses).

Carga de la batería
Cartuchos de batería utilizados con el portabaterías
Consulte el manual de instrucciones del cargador para
saber cómo cargar la batería.
Batería BL1055B
Abra la cubierta del puerto USB. Conecte la batería y
el adaptador de C.A. ADP07 (no incluido) u otro carga-
dor USB genérico con el cable USB suministrado con
labatería.Laespecicacióndesalidarecomendada
para el cargador USB genérico es de 5 V / 3 A o menor.
Después de esto, enchufe el adaptador de C.A. ADP07
alaredeléctricaprincipal.Cuandonalicelacarga,
todo el indicador de capacidad de la batería se ilumi-
nará, y luego se apagará después de un período deter-
minado. Desenchufe el adaptador de C.A. y desconecte
el cable USB, y luego cierre la cubierta.

Para instalar el cartucho de batería, alinee la lengüeta
sobre el cartucho de batería con la ranura en la carcasa
y deslícela hasta su lugar. Insértelo por completo hasta
quesejeensulugarconunpequeñoclic.Sipuede
ver el indicador rojo como se muestra en la ilustración,
este no ha quedado asegurado por completo.
Para extraer el cartucho de batería, deslícelo del porta-
baterías mientras oprime el botón en la parte delantera
del cartucho.

PRECAUCIÓN: Siempre inserte por completo
el cartucho de batería hasta que el indicador rojo
no pueda verse. De lo contrario, el cartucho de bate-
ría podría salirse accidentalmente del portabaterías,
ocasionándole alguna lesión a usted o a las personas
alrededor.
PRECAUCIÓN: Evite instalar el cartucho de
batería forzadamente. Si el cartucho de batería no
se desliza fácilmente, quiere decir que no está siendo
insertado correctamente.

La batería se puede guardar en el bolsillo para bate-

puede guardarse en el bolsillo para batería.
Fijación del portabaterías
Usted puede colgar el portabaterías en su cinturón.
Para evitar que el portabaterías se caiga accidental-
mente,introduzcaunacorreaatravésdeloriciopara
la correa y asegúrelo.

2. Conecte el gancho para cinturón del portabaterías
a su cinturón. Conecte el enchufe del cable de alimen-
tación al portabaterías.

El portabaterías cuenta con una función a prueba de
caídas. Cuando extraiga el portabaterías del cinturón,
jale hacia arriba el portabaterías mientras oprime el
botón de desbloqueo.

FUNCIONAMIENTO
Botón de encendido
Para encender la camiseta de base, conecte todos los
cables, mantenga presionado el botón de encendido
de la batería o el portabaterías. Para apagarla, oprima
y mantenga presionado el botón de encendido de la
camiseta de base.
NOTA: El indicador de nivel de potencia del portaba-
terías no se usa con la camiseta de base. Solamente
se iluminará el indicador de nivel de potencia “4”
cuando utilice la camiseta de base.

NOTA: La batería y el portabaterías se apagan en
automático aproximadamente 1 hora después de
apagarse la camiseta de base.
Ajuste de la temperatura
PRECAUCIÓN: Para un funcionamiento
continuo, congure el ajuste de temperatura en
“bajo” (azul). Si la camiseta de base se sobreca-
lienta, la camiseta de base podría causar un mal
funcionamiento y causar lesiones.
Hay tres ajustes de temperatura (alta, media, baja).
Cuando se enciende la camiseta de base, la tempera-
tura está ajustada en “baja”. Cada vez que se presiona
el botón de encendido, el ajuste de temperatura cam-
biasegúnseindicaenlagura.Elcolordelbotónde
encendido muestra el ajuste vigente.

Indicación de la capacidad restante
de la batería
NOTA: Dependiendo de las condiciones de uso y
la temperatura ambiente, la indicación podrá diferir
ligeramente de la capacidad real.
Solo cuando se usa el cartucho de batería (con el
indicador) con el portabaterías
Oprimaelbotóndevericaciónenelcartuchodela
batería para que indique la capacidad restante de la
batería. Las luces indicadoras se iluminarán por algu-
nos segundos.

Batería BL1055B
Mientras la batería BL1055B está desenchufada,
oprima el botón de encendido. El indicador de capa-
cidad de la batería se ilumina por unos cuantos
segundos.

Sistema de protección de batería
Si la capacidad restante de la batería es demasiado
baja, el dispositivo no funcionará. Al encender el dis-
positivo, se suministrará alimentación a las piezas
de calentamiento, pero se detendrá al poco tiempo.
En este caso, retire el cartucho de batería y vuelva a
cargarlo.
Conexión de dispositivos USB
PRECAUCIÓN: Conecte únicamente disposi-
tivos que sean compatibles con el puerto USB de
alimentación eléctrica. El no hacerlo podría provo-
car una avería.
AVISO: Antes de conectar un dispositivo USB,
respalde siempre los datos del dispositivo USB.
El no hacerlo podría ocasionar que perdiera su
información.
AVISO: El portabaterías y la batería BL1055B
podrían no suministrar energía a algunos dispo-
sitivos USB.
AVISO: Cuando no se esté utilizando o des-
pués de la carga, retire el cable USB y cierre la
cubierta.
NOTA: La corriente de salida real varía según el
dispositivo USB que se va a conectar.
NOTA: La potencia de la batería es consumida mien-
tras el botón de encendido está encendido. Apague
siempre el interruptor cuando no lo vaya a utilizar.
NOTA: Al cargar varios dispositivos USB en suce-
sión,espereunos10segundosunaveznalizada
la carga del dispositivo anterior antes de empezar a
cargar el siguiente dispositivo.
El portabaterías (con batería incluida) y la batería
BL1055B pueden funcionar como un suministro eléc-
trico externo para los dispositivos USB.
1. Abra la cubierta y conecte el cable USB (no
incluido) al puerto USB. Luego, conecte el otro extremo
del cable al dispositivo.
2. Para iniciar la carga:
— Cuando utilice el portabaterías (con la batería),
presione y mantenga presionado el botón de
encendido hasta que se encienda el indicador del
nivel de potencia. La batería suministra 5 V, 2,4 A
c.c.

MANTENIMIENTO
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese siempre de que
la camiseta de base haya sido apagada y que
el cartucho de batería haya sido extraído antes
de intentar realizar inspecciones o tarea de
mantenimiento.
PRECAUCIÓN: Si la camiseta de base no
enciende o si se detecta alguna falla con un
cartucho de batería totalmente cargado, limpie
los terminales del portabaterías y el cartucho de
batería. Si la camiseta de base sigue sin funcionar
correctamente, deje de usarla y póngase en con-
tacto con nuestro centro de servicio autorizado.
AVISO: Nunca use gasolina, bencina, diluyente
(tíner), alcohol o sustancias similares. Puede que
esto ocasione grietas o descoloramiento.
Para mantener la SEGURIDAD y FIABILIDAD del pro-
ducto, las reparaciones, y cualquier otra tarea de man-
tenimiento o ajuste deberán ser realizadas en centros
de servicio autorizados o de fábrica Makita, empleando
siempre repuestos Makita.
