PRODUCT STRUCTURE, CONTENT OF THE BOX USER INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION! Battery is built-in, non-replaceable!
ATTENTION! The performance of the battery may drop below 0 Celsius, and
above 40 Celsius temperatures.
ATTENTION! When using or storing your light, please always keep the protective
rubber cover of the charging port well attached to the port (if the port is
currently not in use)!
1. Instructions, and information about using the battery, and
maximizing its life span
ATTENTION! The life span of the battery depends on you as well! Please
keep using the product as described in this manual to maximize its life
span for your pleasure:
• Whenever you turn o your light after use, please make sure that
the battery did not run low. If that happens (the light indicates low
voltage by decreasing the luminosity), please load the battery!
• It is recommended to full-charge the light before use!
• If you do not use your light for a longer period, please always pay
attention to full-charge the battery ONCE A MONTH! The light can be
stored on the shelf for another month after that. A long-term storage
of the light with totally discharged battery may signicantly reduce
the life span of the battery, or may damage the battery!
ATTENTION! THE STANDBY OPERATION OF THE LIGHT CONSUMES
BATTERY CHARGE AS WELL, WHICH MEANS THAT THE BATTERY IS
BEING DISCHARGED SLOWLY EVEN WHEN YOU DO NOT USE YOUR
LIGHT! THAT IS WHY IT IS KEY ESSENTIAL TO KEEP THE ABOVE WRITTEN
INSTRUCTIONS!
2. Instructions for correct charging, information about charging the
battery
a) Charging with AC cable:
• A red indicator light on the adapter of the charger shows you that your
battery is charging. The indicator light turns green when charging is
nished. Please stop charging when it happens. On the LED panel,
a blinking blue light on the right side indicates that the battery is
charging.
• Please only use the original cable supplied with the light for charging
the battery!
• Please do not turn on the light while charging!
• If the original cable supplied with the light or its adapter is injured, do
not use it for charging!
• Please do not leave the light on charger for more than 24 hours!
• Do not disassemble the light!
• If you do not use your light for a longer period, please pay attention
to charge your light from time to time as written above in chapter 1!

b) Charging with 12 V cable:
• Plug in the adapter of the cable in the 12 V socket in your car. Red
indicator light on the adapter shows when the battery is charging. On
the LED panel, a blinking blue light on the right side indicates that the
battery is charging.
• Please only use the original cable supplied with the light for charging
the battery!
• Please do not turn on the light while charging!
• If the original cable supplied with the light or its adapter is injured, do
not use it for charging!
c) Charging with the solar panel:
• Please pay attention to keep the solar panel
clean. Please follow “Cleaning instructions”
below for cleaning your light!
• In case of sunny weather, you can charge
your light outdoors, as well as indoors with
the solar panel well-positioned, if you have
direct sunlight coming through a window.
The blue indicator light on the right side of
the LED panel keeps blinking until the solar
panel receives enough light for charging.
Once the indicator light stops blinking, it means the solar panel does
not receive sucient light to charge the battery.
• In order to maximize the eciency of solar charging, please rotate the
light to approximately 45 degrees with the solar panel facing towards
the sun.
• Keep the light outdoors only for solar-charging! Once you nished
charging, or sucient sunlight is not provided anymore, and you do
not intend to use your light, please store the light switched o indoors
in a dry place between 10 - 30 Celsius.
3. Charging and using the light in cold weather
• Do not store the light below 0 Celsius!
• If you intend to charge your light by solar energy when the outdoor
temperature is below 10 Celsius, please only keep your light outdoors
for charging! When you nished charging, or there is no sucient
solar light for charging anymore, please take your light indoors.
• Overcast, cloudy, rainy weather below 10 Celsius temperature are
not ideal conditions for solar charging, please choose USB charging
in this case.
• You can use your light at temperatures below 0 Celsius. It is
recommended to full-charge your light by USB before use.
4. Storing the light when it is out of use
Please store your light switched OFF between 10-30 Celsius in a dry
place indoors. Please keep always follow the instructions described in
Chapter 1!
5. Assembling the light
• Please take out the light, the stand, and the package with the screw and
washers from the box.
• Place the stand on a stable, horizontal surface.
• Move the black console of the light into a low position.
• Place a washer on the screw-hole located in the middle of the stand.
• Place the light carefully on the washer in a way that the central circular
hole of the console should be right exactly on the top of the washer.
• Place the second washer on the central circular hole of the console.
• Drive in the screw.
6. Functions of the light, user’s instructions
Using the ON/OFF button:
• The ON/OFF button is located on the bottom of the shell. Once you
nished charging, you can start using your light.
• The light shines at full power (considering full battery charge) with white
color, if you switch the ON/OFF button in the left direction (option II).
• Switching the ON/OFF button to central position turns o the light.
• You can activate the emergency red-blue blinking mode (option I) by
switching the ON/OFF button in the right direction.
Adjustment of the light head:
The light can be rotated in vertical direction. The force needed for the
rotation of the light head is adjustable by driving the 2 screws located on
the side of the light (where the console is attached to the light) stier or
looser by the allen key supplied for the light.
The light can be rotated horizontally in 360 degrees on the stand.

USER INSTRUCTIONS, INFORMATION
1. After receiving your light, please open the light ’s box gently with paying
attention not to cause harm to the light and its parts.
2. Before starting to use your light, please make sure that there are no
visible damages on the light and its parts.
3. If you observe breaking, crack, fracture on the light or on its parts,
please do not use the product, but contact us for replacement.
4. Please do not apply strong physical force on the product that can
damage the light or its parts. Non-ordinary use of the product results
the loss of product warranty.
5. Please keep the box, the packaging material, and the content out of the
reach of children, and pets. There are small objects among the parts
of the light, which children or pets can ingest, or can cause harm to
themselves with.
6. Please do not disassemble the light, do not bend the light, or apply
physical stress on the light. Please follow the user manual’s instructions
for installation, and operation.
7. Do not expose the light to higher heat than natural caused by weather
changes. Excessive heat may damage more constituents of the light.
8. Do not expose the light to continuous high- or low-pressure water ow,
even if you intend to clean your light. The IP65 protection does not mean
you can put the light in water, or you can wash the light with continuous
water stream. The next chapter declares the right method of cleaning.
9. Please always contact Malatech Water, Ltd, or a professional appointed
by our company if you intend to disassemble the light, remove any
of its parts, or service the light. Service attempts made by users are
prohibited, and result the loss of product warranty.
For preserving the aesthetical outlook, and maintaining the maximum
functionality, and eciency of your light, cleaning is recommended from
time to time. Since the light is operated by solar energy, keeping the solar
panel clean & free of dust is key-essential to ensure its eciency, and
maximize discharging time. Please follow the instructions below when
cleaning your light:
1. Please always use a suitable, soft, and damp towel for cleaning the solar
panel
2. Apply the towel with higher water content for the rst time at each
cleaning procedure to remove the majority of dust preferably with one
movement.
3. After washing the towel in continuous water stream to remove the
accumulated dust, squeeze the water out of the towel, and remove the
remainder of dust with the towel gently from the surface of the solar
panel if necessary. Care to avoid scratching the surface of the solar
panel.
4. If you observe scaling, or other accumulated dirt on the surface of the
solar panel, please only use a chemical or natural enzymatic based
agent for cleaning which is recommended for solar panel cleaning by
its manufacturer.
5. Cleaning of the plastic and metal parts of the light body can be executed
easily, but attention is needed to avoid scratching of the surfaces.ű6)
Cleaning the dome which protects the LED group from external eects
also requires cautious approach for cleaning to avoid scratching. Please
apply chapter 1)-4) above for the dome as it is written in case of the
solar panel.
The light recognizes low battery voltage, and switches o automatically
to prevent the battery from damage, and to maximize the life cycle of the
battery. Besides that, the light applies an eco-mode when the battery
level is low but sucient for operation. In this case the light will shine at
a dimmed mode. Please charge your light whenever any of the above
written occurs!

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) sign
means that every electrical, and electronic wastes must be
collected, and treated separately. According to The Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE
Directive), the European Community Directive 2012/19/
EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
which, together with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU lights,
and light bodies are electrical, and electronical wastes, and cannot be
disposed, and treated together with municipal waste. Since they require
special treatment, these wastes can only be handled to organizations, and
companies authorized to treat these kinds of wastes. Whenever your light
comes to the end of its life cycle, please cooperate with treating your waste
as written above, we can help you in that:
According to the local government act 197/2014 (VII.1) we pay waste
disposal and handling cost in case of each sold units, large light bodies
(any dimensions of the light exceeding 50 cm), and small light bodies (no
dimensions of the light exceeding 50 cm) included. We teamed up with an
intermediary organization ELECTRO-COORD Non-prot, Ltd. for fullling
our obligatory duties, and we also operate a collection point at our facility
where we can take over your wasted lights either those you purchased
from us, or functionally similar light waste that you originally purchased
from elsewhere.
Important information regarding the lights distributed by Malatech
Water, Ltd:
• The Aluminium, steel, plastic (Acrylic, Polycarbonate) parts of the lights
do not cause environmental or health risk either in perfect or damaged
condition of the light.
• The LEDs do not cause environmental or health risk either in perfect
or damaged condition, but according to the laws they are meant to be
electrical, and electronical wastes, which require special disposal, and
treatment.
• The built-in Li-ion batteries, and the photovoltaic panels are dangerous
wastes, which means that you must not dispose the wasted light into the
municipal waste container but you need to keep them separated from
municipal waste, and dispose it at an authorized location only.
• Since our lights are IP65 rated lights, the parts in many places are
waterproof adhesive-bonded, glued. Disassembling the light is
WASTE DISPOSAL prohibited by users. Please let certied specialists do this job instead,
and handle your wasted light preferably in a perfect, non-damaged
condition.

Despite all of our products are high-end premium quality, and they
go through multiple quality & aesthetical check procedures during
production, and one last check procedure is performed by us for quality,
functionality, aesthetics, package accessories content before packaging
for the customer, the lights are technical equipment made by humans,
which means some may go wrong at our customers during using them,
or may get hurt aesthetically because of a transportation failure when
delivering the order. In case you encounter any problems with your
purchased light, please follow the instructions below:
1. Our company usually accepts photos as proof of aesthetical damage
caused by courier transportation at order delivery. In case you
experience external damage on the product, please, if possible take
photos of the damage immediately, and send it to us to service@
malatechsolar.com as soon as possible. Please always highlight your
order no. in your e-mail, and send the scanned version of your invoice
as an image or pdf le for us being able to send you the replacement
in due course.
2. If you experience any operational troubles during the warranty period
of your light, please contact us by e-mail at service@malatechsolar.
com. Please always highlight your order no. in your e-mail, and send the

company accepts a detailed description with preferably a simple short

Malatech Water, Ltd. provides all-inclusive, attractive, customer-oriented
warranty terms and services for its products during the warranty period
for all of our customers in the following countries (by alphabetical order):

If you can do the video, please attach in low resolution to your e-mail,
or upload it to a free le sharing platform, and send us the link. We
examine your case as soon as possible, and contact you with a solution.
We either can x your problem remotely, identify the wrong setup, and
help you address it, or we identify the failed component. In the latter
case, we send you a replacement for that part, if the component can be
replaced by the customer, and do not require service. If we determine
that the light has a technical issue to be addressed at the service,
according to our decision, there could be 2 ways to go:
• We either decide that the light cannot be repaired economically, and we
supply you a brand-new product, in this case you have no further action
needed to be done, we inform you about the details of the delivery. The
process takes 3-5 working days (+ transportation time 6-10 working
days) if the product is on stock. If the product is not on stock the process
takes longer period, but in this case, we are in continuous contact with
our customer, and provide information about the delivery status.
• Or we decide to call back the product for service, and x the problem.
For this scenario, we tried to make the process for our customers as
simple, and easy as possible: we have a contract with our cour ier (FedEx-
TNT) for returning the goods to us for service. In this case you just need
to pack the products in a box caring to ll the void spaces with the
necessary elements to prevent damage during transportation, close &
seal the box safely, and wait for the call of the courier driver. Although
not obligatory, we recommend you to keep the box of the product with
the original packaging material, it could make it easier for you if service
is needed. Please care to pack every content in the box, all accessories
you received with your light. Once you handled the box to the courier,
we take care about the rest for you: once the service of your product is
done, we send it back to you, or if the problem cannot be xed, we send
you a new product. All the above written are free of charge for you,
our company takes care about all the expenses during the warranty
period.
Basic warranty terms:
1. Warranty period / scope
With the warranty, our company guarantees that the product does not
have any material or workmanship defects at the time of the purchase.
The warranty period varies between 1-3 years from the date of
WARRANTY TERMS purchase depending on product. The warranty period for each product
is dened in the specication sheet of the product. Our product
warranties are valid in the European Union, Great Britain, Switzerland,
and Norway
2. Required documents for warranty claims
Warranty is only valid for all of our products once the original invoice,
or the copy of the original invoice of the purchase is presented by our
customer. Our company accepts scanned image or pdf versions of the
invoice sent by e-mail.
3. Addressing a warranty claim
Warranty claims must be addressed within the warranty period.
The warranty starts on the date of the rst purchase according to
the original invoice. We reserve the right to refuse the warranty claim
if the proof of purchase is missing or incomplete.
4. Exclusions of warranty
Warranty claims are refused in the event of damage caused by:
• abusive or improper treatment,
• environmental inuences (heat, overvoltage, dust etc.),
• abusing the safety precautions applicable to the device,
• damage caused by improper use of the product neglecting the
operating instructions
• damage caused by external force (e.g. blow, push, fall),
• interventions that were not carried out by our service, or a service
authorized by our company
• unauthorized repair attempts,
• changes made to the item
• damage due to improper packaging that is not safe for transportation
(excluding the rst transportation of the product which is organized
by our company, please read instructions above for damages caused
by courier when completing the order)
Please always read the user manual carefully for each product you
purchase from us before using it, and follow the instructions.
5. Other information about service
Service, and repair works of solar lights out of the warranty period done
by our company or authorized service companies are not free of charge.
