1. USING YOUR SANDWICH TOASTER
1. Beforerstusecleanthesurfaceofthecookingplatewithadampclothandthen
wipeagainwithadrycloth.Oilthecookingplatewitholiveoil,butter,margarine,or
any cooking fat.
2. Insert the plug into a suitable mains supply socket.
3. Ensuretheapplianceisplacedhorizontalontheworktop.
4. Turnthepoweron.TheREDindicatorlightwillcomeon.
5. Preparethesandwichwhilewaitingforthetoastertoheatup.
6. After4to6minutesthetoasterwillbereadyasindicatedbytheGREENlightgoing
on.
7. Openthesandwichtoasterandplaceinthesandwich.Becarefulofthehotsurfaces.
8. Forgoldenbrowntoastedsandwiches,placethebutteredsidesofthebreadontothe

9. Closebothhalvesofthesandwichtoasterwithoutplacingtoomuchforceonthe
sandwich.Iftoomuchforceisrequiredtoclosethesandwichtoaster,theclipmay

12. Aftertoastingiscompleteopenthetoasterandremovesandwichwithaplasticor
woodenutensil.Neveruseametalorsharpobject,asthiswilldamagethenon-stick
coating on the cooking plates.
13. Closethesandwichtoastertoretaintheheatiffurtheruseisrequired.
14. Afteruse,removetheplugfromthepowersocketoutlet.

2. CARE AND CLEANING
1. Alwaysturnthepoweroff,removetheplugfromthepowersupplyoutletandallowthe
product to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipetheinterioraswellasthesideofthecookingplateswithanabsorbenttissue,
papertowelorsoftcloth.Neveruseanabrasivetocleantheappliance.Cleanafter
eachusetopreventanycakingofllings.
3. Re-oilthecookingplatestakingcaretowipeupanyexcessoilasthiscanbecome
hard and sticky during storage.
4. Wipetheoutsideofthetoasterwithaslightlydampenedclothandpolishwithasoft
dry cloth.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE OR THE CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID.
