Thank you for purchasing the MANHATTAN® Graphics Tablet, Model 177405 or 177412.
This guide presents the basic steps to set up this device. For detailed instructions and
specications, refer to the user manual at www.manhattan-products.com.
Hardware / Initial Setup
1. Use the included USB cable to connect the Graphics Tablet to a USB port on your
computer. NOTE: For Windows 2000 & XP, install the Macro Key Manager program
rst (from the included “For PC” CD), before connecting the device.
2. Check that the Activity LED at the top-right of the tablet is blinking to indicate a
valid connection.
3. Insert the included AAA battery in the wireless
pen by unscrewing the top of the pen to
open the battery compartment and
placing the battery with the positive
end toward the pen tip (bottom),
as shown. Re-assemble the pen and set it horizontally or with the tip up to avoid
prolonged pressure. (For Model 177405, use the included pen holder.)
Driver Installation
For Windows:
1. Insert the included installation CD (“For PC”) in your CD-ROM drive.
2. After the setup screen displays, select the rst item to be installed and follow the
on-screen instructions to complete the installation. NOTE: If the installation doesn’t
begin automatically, you can start it manually by double-clicking My Computer and
then selecting “CD-ROM Driver” and “Setup.exe.”
For Mac:
1. Install the included “For Mac” CD, unzip the driver and save the les to your hard
drive.
2. In the Applications menu, select the Pen Pad program.
3. If you’re logged in as an administrator, an Authentication window will prompt you
to enter a name and password. Click “OK” when done.
4. When the Pen Pad Introduction screen displays, click “Continue.”
5. On the next screen, select “Easy Install” from the drop-down menu and click “Install.”
6. When the next (Finish Up) screen displays, click “Restart.”
7. With OS 10.4 and above, once you reboot, a security screen prompts you to x the
security setting. Click “Fix.”

Diese Kurzanleitung zeigt die Basisschritte zur Einrichtung des Geräts. Genauere Anweisungen
und Spezikationen nden Sie im Handbuch auf www.manhattan-products.com.
Ersteinrichtung
1. Schließen Sie das Graktablett über das beiliegende USB-Kabel an einen USB-Port
Ihres PCs an. HINWEIS: Auf Windows 2000 & XP installieren Sie bitte erst die “Macro
Key Manager”-Software (von der beiliegenden “For PC”-CD), bevor Sie das Gerät
anschließen.
2. Prüfen Sie die LED-Anzeige in der rechten oberen Ecke des Tabletts. Sie blinkt, wenn
eine gültige Verbindung hergestellt ist.
3. Schrauben Sie das Oberteil des Stifts ab und
legen Sie die beiliegende AAA-Batterie in
das Batteriefach. Achten Sie darauf,
dass der Pluspol am unteren Ende,
also an der Stiftspitze liegt.
Schrauben Sie den Stift wieder zu. Wenn Sie ihn absetzen, legen Sie ihn waagerecht
oder mit der Spitze nach oben, um diese nicht längerem Druck auszusetzen. (Bei
Modell 177405, verwenden Sie den beiliegenden Stifthalter.)
Treiberinstallation
Windows:
1. Legen Sie die beiliegende Installations-CD (“For PC”) in Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk.
2. Wählen Sie im Installationsbildschirm das erste Programm aus und folgen Sie den
Installationsanweisungen. HINWEIS: Sollte die Installation nicht automatisch starten,
können Sie sie manuell starten, über einen Doppelklick auf Arbeitsplatz dann auf Ihr
CD-/DVD-Laufwerk und dann “Setup.exe”.
Mac:
1. Legen Sie die beiliegende “For Mac”-CD ein, entpacken Sie den Treiber und speichern
Sie die Dateien auf Ihrer Festplatte.
2. Im Anwendungen-Menü, wählen Sie das Pen-Pad-Programm.
3. Sind Sie als Administrator eingeloggt, werden Sie über ein Authentizierungsfenster
zur Eingabe von Name und Passwort aufgefordert. Klicken Sie nach der Eingabe auf
“ O K ”.
4. Klicken Sie auf dem Pen-Pad-Einführungsfenster auf “Continue.”
5. Im nächsten Schritt wählen Sie “Easy Install” aus dem Scroll-down-Menü und klicken
Sie auf “Install.”
6. Im letzten Schritt klicken Sie auf “Restart.”
7. Unter OS 10.4 oder höher, werden Sie nach einem Neustart zu einer Korrektur der
Sicherheitseinstellungen aufgefordert. Klicken Sie auf “Fix” (Reparieren).

Gracias por comprar la Tableta Graca MANHATTAN®, Modelo 177405 o 177412. Esta guia
presenta los pasos para instalar este dispositivo. Para instrucciones y especicaciones
detalladas, revise el manual en www.manhattan-products.com.
Hardware / Instalación Inicial
1. Utilice el cable USB incluido para conectar la tableta gráca a un puerto USB de su
equipo. NOTA: Para Windows 2000 y XP, instale primero el programa Macro Key
Manager (incluido en el CD), antes de conectar el dispositivo.
2. Compruebe que el LED de actividad en la parte superior derecha de la tableta es
intermitente para indicar una conexión válida.
3. Inserte las baterias AAA incluidas en la pluma
inalambrica girando la parte superior de la
pluma para abrir el compartamiento
de bateria y coloque la bateria con
el polo positivo hacia la punta
(abajo), como se muestra. Re-ensamble la pluma y la pulsela de modo horizontal o
con la punta hacia arriba para evitar la presión prolongada. (Para el modelo 177405,
utilizar el la base de la pluma incluida.)
Instalación del Controlador
Para Windows:
1. Inserte el CD de instalación incluido (“para PC”) en la unidad de CD-ROM.
2. Después de la pantalla de conguración, seleccione el primer elemento a ser instalado
y siga las instrucciones en pantalla para completar la instalación. NOTA: Si la instalación
no comienza automáticamente, puede iniciarla manualmente haciendo doble clic
en Mi PC y a continuación, seleccionar “Controlador de CD-ROM” y “Setup.exe”.
Para Mac:
1. Instale los controladores incluidos en el CD “para Mac”, descomprima el controlador
y guardar los archivos en su disco duro.
2. En el menú Aplicaciones, seleccione el programa Pen Pad.
3. Si has iniciado sesión como administrador, una ventana de autenticación le sugerirán
para introducir un nombre y contraseña. Haga clic en “Aceptar” cuando haya
terminado.

Merci d’avoir acheté la tablette graphique MANHATTAN®, modèle 177405 ou 177412.
Ce guide décrit la procédure d’installation de base de cet appareil. Pour obtenir des

Installation initiale de l’appareil
1. Utilisez le câble USB fourni pour connecter la tablette graphique à un port USB sur
votre ordinateur. REMARQUE : Sous Windows 2000 & XP, installez le programme
Macro Key Manager (à partir du CD pour PC fourni) avant de connecter l’appareil.
2. Vériez que la DEL d’activité en haut à droite de la tablette clignote pour indiquer
une connexion valide.
3. Dévissez la partie supérieure du stylet sans l
pour ouvrir le compartiment et y insérez la
pile AAA fournie. Installez la pile de
manière à orienter l’extrémité
positive vers la pointe (partie
inférieure) du stylet, comme illustré ci-contre.Remontez le stylet. Si vous le déposez,
posez-le horizontalement ou avec la pointe vers le haut pour éviter la pression
prolongée. (Pour le modèle 177405, utilisez le support inclus.)
Installation du pilote
Windows :
1. Insérez le CD d’installation (pour PC) fourni dans le lecteur de CD-ROM.
2. Une fois l’écran d’installation aché, sélectionnez le premier composant à installer,
puis suivez les instructions données pour eectuer l’installatio. REMARQUE : Si
l’installation ne démarre pas automatiquement, vous pouvez la lancer
automatiquement en double-cliquant sur Poste de travail, puis en sélectionnant
Pilote de CD-ROM et Setup.exe.
Mac :
1. Installez le CD pour Mac fourni, décompressez le pilote et enregistrez les chiers sur
le disque dur.
2. Dans le menu Applications, sélectionnez le programme Pen Pad.
3. Si vous êtes connecté en tant qu’administrateur, une fenêtre d’authentication vous
invite à saisir vos nom utilisateur et mot de passe. Cliquez sur OK lorsque vous avez
terminé.
4. Lorsque l’écran d’introduction Pen Pad apparaît, cliquez sur Continue (Continuer).
5. Dans l’écran suivant, sélectionnez Easy Install (Installation simple) dans le menu
déroulant, puis cliquez sur Install (Installer).
6. Lorsque l’écran suivant (Finish Up (Terminer)) apparaît, cliquez sur Restart (Redémarrer).
7. Si vous utilisez OS 10.4 ou supérieur, une fois que vous avez redémarré, un écran de
sécurité vous invite à corriger le paramètre de sécurité. Cliquez sur Fix (Corriger).

Dziękujemy za zakup Tabletu gracznego MANHATTAN®, model 177405 lub 177412.
Poniższa instrukcja zawiera podstawowe wskazówki na temat uruchomienia i
konguracji tabletu. Pełną specykację produktu oraz instrukcję znajdą Państwo na
stronie www.manhattan-products.com.
Instalacja sprzętu
1. Podłącz tablet graczny do wolnego portu USB komputera. UWAGA: W przypadku
korzystania z systemu operacyjnego Windows 2000 lub Windows XP, należy najpierw
zainstalować oprogramowanie „Macro Key Manager” z dołączonej płyty.
2. Jeśli dioda aktywności, umieszczona w prawym górnym rogu tabletu, zaczęła migać,
oznacza to, że podłączenie jest prawidłowe.
3. Odkręć górną końcówkę piórka bezprzewodowego,
aby otworzyć pokrywę przedziału na baterię, a
następnie umieść baterie (w komplecie) w
przedziale piórka, tak, jak pokazano na
rysunku. Skręć piórko ponownie i
umieść je w pozycji, w której nie
będzie wywierany stały nacisk na rysik piórka (dla modelu 177405 zastosuj podstawkę
do piórka, dołączoną do kompletu).
Instalacja sterowników
Dla systemów Windows:
1. Umieść płytę CD ze sterownikami i oprogramowaniem w napędzie CD/DVD-ROM

pozycję na liście, aby rozpocząć proces instalacji i postępuj zgodnie z instrukcjami

automatycznie, należy uruchomić go ręcznie. W tym celu otwórz okno „Mój komputer”,
a następnie otwórz zawartość płyty CD. Kliknij dwukrotnie ikonkę „setup.exe”.
Dla systemów Mac:
1. Zainstaluj oprogramowanie z płyty CD, rozpakuj sterowniki i zapisz je na dysku
twardym komputera.
2. W menu Applications wybierz program Pen Pad.
3. Jeśli jesteś zalogowany jako administrator, pojawi się okno autoryzacji. Podaj nazwę
oraz hasło i kliknij OK.
4. Kliknij „Continue”, kiedy pojawi się okno programu Pen Pad.
5. Kiedy pojawi się następne okno, wybierz „Easy Install” z listy dostępnych opcji.
Następnie kliknij „Install”.
6. Gdy pojawi się kolejne okno, kliknij „Restart”.
7. W przypadku OS 10.4 i nowszych, po restarcie pojawi się okno ekranu
bezpieczeństwa. Kliknij „Fix”.

Hardware / Impostazione iniziale
1. Utilizzate il cavo USB incluso per collegare la Tavoletta graca alla porta USB
del vostro computer. NOTA: Per Windows 2000 & XP, innanzitutto installare il
programma Macro Key Manager prima (dal CD incluso “For PC”), prima di collegare
la periferica.
2. Vericare che il LED di attività presente nella
tavoletta graca nella parte alta a destra
stia lampeggiando ad indicare che la
connessione è valida.
3. Inserire la batteria AAA inclusa
nella penna svitando la parte alta della penna per aprire il comparto batterie e
posizionare la batteria con il lato positivo rivolto verso la punta della penna (basso),
come viene qui mostrato. Assemblare la penna e posizionarla orizzontalmente o
con la punta in alto per evitare una pressione prolungata. (Per il Modello 177405,
utilizzare il supporto incluso.)
Installazione dei Driver
Per Windows:
1. Inserire il CD di installazione incluso (“For PC”) nel vostro CD-ROM.
2. Dopo che la schermata di impostazione viene visualizzata, selezionare il primo item
da installare e seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo per completare l’installazione.
NOTA: Se l’installazione non viene eettuata automaticamente, potete avviarla
manualmente cliccando due volte su My Computer e quindi selezionare “CD-ROM
Driver” e “Setup.exe.”
Per Mac:
1. Installare il CD incluso “For Mac”, unzippando i driver e salvando i le nel vostro
disco sso.
2. Nel menu Applicazioni, selezionare il programma Pen Pad.

compra original donde se mencione claramente el modelo, numero de serie (cuando aplique) y
fecha de adquisición. Esta garantia no es valida en los siguientes casos: Si el producto se hubiese
utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales; si el producto no ha sido operado conforme a los
