PORTABLE INSECT KILLER
This portable insect killer has been designed to lure and kill a range of light sensitive flying insects. The insects are
lured by the ultraviolet black light and then drawn into the airflow of the fan and killed as they contact the electrically
charged inner grid area.
Before use please read the safety instructions in this document carefully
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
High voltage! Disconnect power before repairing or cleaning.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service engineer.
Never put metal objects inside the grille while in operation.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Before inserting the plug make sure that the voltage is within the range indicated on the rating label on the
appliance.
The insect killer cannot be used in barns, stables or similar places.
The insect killer is for Indoor use only.
Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet before cleaning the unit or its components.
When not in use, store out of reach of children.
The insect killer is not to be used in locations where flammable vapour or explosive dust is likely to exist.
Choosing a location for your insect killer
There must be space around the unit for air to circulate.
For best results position the unit in the darkest area of the room, away from the windows.
There should be no obstructions around the unit, to allow easy access to the front grille.
Make sure there is an electrical outlet nearby and that the area is dry and protected from the rain and dirty particles.
Reminder:-
Waste electrical products must not be disposed of with household waste.
This product should be taken to your local recycling centre for safe treatment.

Front grille removal for cleaning.
Before any cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the wall socket.
Carefully remove the silver front grille, by rotating anti-clockwise
Lift off grille towards you.
Tilt the unit forward and use the plastic brush provided to remove
any remains of insects trapped on the metal grid.
After thorough cleaning, carefully locate the grille tabs inside
the slots and rotate clockwise.
Note:- the unit will not run unless the grille is fitted correctly.
The insect killer is now ready to use again.
It is recommended you clean and maintain the unit once a week,
depending on usage.
