Maretron IPG100 Recovery
This procedure will assist if your IPG100 portrays the following symptoms:
•This IPG100 is not visible on the device list within N2KAnalyzer or DSM display.
•The NMEA 2000®light on the IPG100 is a solid red color, and not the normal flashing green light
(the below image shows an example of this).
We must first make the drive Active (Bootable).
Insert your USB flash drive (32GB or smaller) into your PC and proceed with the follow instructions.
To make partition Active:
1. Run Command Prompt as Administrator
2. Type: diskpart
3. Type: list disk
Remember the desired disk number, match size of drive
4. Type: select disk #
where # is the desired disk number
5. Type: list part
Remember the desired partition number
6. Type: select part #
where # is the desired partition number
7. Type: active

To view and confirm your drive status
1. Press the Win + R keys on your keyboard to open Run
2. Type: diskmgmt.msc

Downloading System Files
1. Download the factory firmware image ZIP file from the link at the bottom of these instructions
(it is named "IPG100_RCV.zip").
2. Unzip this file to the root directory of an empty USB flash drive. The unzipped folder must be labeled
“IPG100_RCV” and reside within the root directory of the USB flash drive, as shown in the following image.

3. Remove power from the IPG100 by disconnecting the NMEA 2000®cable of the IPG100.
4. Insert the USB flash drive into the IPG100’s USB port.
5. Restore power to the IPG100 by reconnecting the NMEA 2000®cable of the IPG100.
6. The process is completed after the IPG100 is restarted and red NMEA 2000®light turns OFF.
The flashing process should take about 3 minutes.
7. When the NMEA 2000®light turns off, quickly remove the USB flash drive from the USB port on the IPG100.
8. The IPG100 NMEA 2000®light should change to the normal flashing green state, as illustrated below.
9. Plug the N2KView license key into the USB port of the IPG100, if applicable
The USB light should turn green after a short time.
10. The IPG100 is now running with the factory default configuration, you may now utilize either N2KAnalyzer or a
DSM display to restore any configuration you require.
