Important INFORMATION: Completely remove the transport protection in the reflector prior to operation.
Establish connection to the mains supply. The house wiring to the power supply must be fused with a circuit breaker of at least 16 A.
The house wiring switch must be switched on for programming and operation. Also see chapter 6 and 7.

3 Operation
NOTE:
Already in the factory state, the infrared heater is programmed to the operating position (standing upright) and without timeout.
On switching on the infrared heater operation is confirmed with acoustic signals.
The heating output can be detected with a delay on switching on.
According to the timeout programming, the following will be carried out:
Outside the programming, the infrared heater can be switched on for 5 minutes by double clicking the device button (signal tone) and
• 1 Signal tone ˋwithout timeout
• 2 Signal tones ˋ30 minutes operating time
• 3 Signal tones ˋ60 minutes operating time
• 4 Signal tones ˋ90 minutes operating time

4 Programming the timeout
It is important that damaged device elements such as connecting cable, switch, sealing collar or heating tube must be replaced. The
infrared heater must be dismantled immediately and stored in a dry place. Repairs (replacing a defective connecting cable, a defective
heating tube or similar) must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
Heating tubes are sensitive to direct skin contact (do not touch with your fingers). Grease or other contamination can be cleaned with a
cloth soaked in alcohol.

Completion of programming:
Press the device button for 5 seconds until you hear a long signal tone (2 sec.).
5 Repair / maintenance and cleaning
The factory state is without timeout for upright operation.
NOTE:
If you hear three short signal tones in sequence, the upright operating position must be re-programmed by pressing again (2 sec.) and
releasing the device button. You will hear a long signal tone (2 sec.).
