Place the turntable on a stable, level
surface. Avoid direct sunlight, heat and
locations subject to vibrations and
excessive dust, cold or moisture.
Place silicone rubber slip-mat on the
aluminum platter.
Place a record on the turntable, over the
central spindle.
Use the tone arm lift lever gently lower
and raise the needle to the record.
Wrap rubber belt along outer edge of
inner circle lip on underside of metal
platter.
Remove the needle cover from the
stylus.
Set the Speed Selector to 33 or 45 rpm
according to record speed. Power is on
when speed is set. Platter will rotate
when tone arm moves (see #14).
When the record is finished the platter
will automatically stop. To stop manual-
ly, lift the tone arm from the record and
return it to the rest.
NOTE: Whole system, will power down
after 30mins. To turn it back on, flip
speed switch back off and on again.
Stretch rubber belt away from inner cir-
cle, grabbing belt through one large hole
from opposite side (topside) of platter.
Connect included AC power supply
into Stir It Up and plug into outlet. Use
correct power converter.
Release the tone arm clamp
Flip platter, continue stretching the belt
through hole. Connect belt to turntable
by sliding belt over brass spindle while
inserting platter down onto the unit.
Connect turntable output to external
amplifier or speaker using the included
auxiliary cable. Switch PRE-AMP “ON” or
“OFF” to match the external device.
NOTE: See details on other side for
correct PRE-AMP settings.
Lift and move the tone arm to the record
and the platter will start rotating.
Assemble the balance weight by pushing
onto back of tonearm, and set it to a
proper position by twisting clockwise or
counter-clockwise to find perfect amount
of pressure.
NOTE: If pressure is too much, the sound
will become distorted; if the pressure is
too little, track skipping will occur.
STIR IT UP TURNTABLE — QUICK START DIRECTIONS
Important: Do NOT twist belt. Belt must
remain untwisted when attaching platter
to turntable.
