Batteries
Please use safety-certified batteries.
Remove the rechargeable batteries if the device has not been used for three
months, or is not intended to be used for at least three months.
Disposal
This device should not be treated as regular household or business waste, but
should be handed in to an electrical/electronic equipment centre. Disposal of
this device should be in accordance with national regulations.
General Guidance
It is the user’s responsibility to evaluate the electromagnetic environment
before using the device.
The device must be placed in the operating environment 30 minutes before use.
Do not use the device outdoors or in direct sunlight
Do not expose the device to extreme temperature e.g.>50ºC or <-20ºC.
Please contact the manufacturer should you require further advice and
guidance on how to use and maintain this device.
Do not modify the device in any way.
Do not disassemble the device or attempt the repair it.
Keep the device away from air conditioners and fans.
Care and Maintenance
•The protective glass over the lens is the most important and fragile part of the
thermometer, ensure that this is well maintained.
•The Infrared Sensor is the most precise part, ensure that this is kept clean and
clear of obstructions.
