Waterand Moisture

The unit should not be usednear water-
for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchensink, laundry
tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, etc.

Cartsand Stands
-
Theunit should be used only witha cartor
stand that isrecommended by the manufacturer.

with care. Quick stops, excessiveforce, and
uneven surfacesmay cause the unitand cart
combination to overturn.

Groundingor Polarization

Precautions should be taken so
that the groundingor polarization is not defeated.
8 Ventilation

The unit shouldbe situated so that its location
or position doesnot interfere with its proper ventilation.
Forexample, the unit shouldnot besituated ona bed,sofa, rug,
orsimilarsurface, that may block the ventilationopenings;
orplaced ina built

in installation, such as a bookcase or
cabinet that may impede the flow of air through the ventil

Heat

The unit shouldbe situated away from heat sources
such as radiators, stoves, orother appliances that produces
heat.
10 Power Sources

The unit should be connected to a power
supplyonly of the typedescribed in the operatinginstruc

tions orasmarked on the unit.
11 Power Cord Protection

Power supplycords should be
routed sothat they are not likely to bewalked onor pinched
by itemsplaced upon or against them, paying particular att

ention to cordsat plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit the unit.
12 Cleaning

The unit shouldbe cleaned only asrecommended
by themanufacturer.
13 Nonuse Periods

The power cord of the unit should be unplu

gged fromthe outlet when leftunused fora long period of
time.

Object and liquid Entry

Careshould be taken sothat objects
do not fall into and liquids are notspilled into the inside of
the unit.

Damage Requiring Service

The unit shouldbe serviced by
qualified servicepersonnel when:
A. Thepowersupply cord orthe plug has been damaged; or
B.
Objectshave fallen, orliquid has been spilled into the
unit; or
C.
Theunit has been exposedto rain; or
D. The unit does not appear to operate normally or exhibits
a marked changein performance.
E.
The unit has been dropped, or the cabinet damaged.

Servicing

The user should not attempttoservice the unit
beyond thosemeans described in the operatinginstructions.
Allotherservicing should be referred to qualified service
personnel.
17 Power Lines

Anoutdoor antenna should be located away
from powerlines.
18 Groundingor Polarization

Precautions should be taken
sothat the grounding or polarization isnot defeated.
