Getting the Kit working
1. Plug the RS232 cable betwee J2 o the CPU MCAM335x a d a PC serial i terface (DTE)
2. Dow load a y PC termi al program. Mas Elettro ica suggests usi g Putty (aletr ativity if
you utilize Li ux, ca use mi icom typi g from termi al sudo minicom).
3. Set PC termi al Software parameters
a. Baud Rate: 115200
b. Data: 8 Bit
c. Parity: No e
d. Stop bit: 1
e. Flow Co trol: No e
4. Plug the wall adapter’s pi i to the MDVKIT35P Power IN jack a d to a
120VAC~240VAC power source.
5. Press the power o Butto of the MDVKIT35P.
6. Boot messages are pri ted withi PC’s termi al wi dow.
7. TI Li ux shell will appear o the scree after 45 seco ds.

bility shall be for Mas Elettro ica, at its sole discretio , to either repair or replace the defective
hardware product at o charge or to refu d the purchase price. Shipme t costs i both directio s are
the respo sibility of the customer. This warra ty is void if the hardware product has bee altered or
damaged by accide t, misuse or abuse.
