1. Einleitende Information
Werte Kunden, mit dem eMOTION
6V-Festspannungsregler haben sie
ein hochwertiges Produkt „Made
in Germany“ erworben. Er erzeugt,
wie der Name schon sagt eine sta-
bilisierte Ausgangsspannung von
6 Volt und bietet mit 1,5 Ampere
auch ausreichende Leistung für
vielfältige Aufgaben. Analogfahrer
können hiermit ihre Beleuchtung
gleichmäßig regeln und Verdamp-
fer betreiben, Digitalfahrer nutzen
die Regelung zur Versorgung von
Modellbauservos. Der Anschluss
erfolgt über 4 Schraubklemmen.

1.2 Wichtige Informationen zur
Inbetriebnahme
Der Regler kann an Gleich- und
Wechselstrom (DC und AC) sowie
Digitalspannung (DCC) betrieben
werden. Der Ausgang liefert
geregelte 6V Gleichspannung (DC).
1. General Information

Fixed Voltage Regulator, you have
purchased a high quality product

As implied, the regulator supplies
a stabilized voltage output of 6 volt
andoffers1.5amperesufcient
power for various tasks.
Analog drivers can control their
lights consistently or operate their
smoke units. Digital drivers can
use it to regulate their modelltrain
servo supply. It is connected
by 4 screw terminals.

The eMOTION 6Volt Fixed voltage
regulator works with co-current
and alternating current (DC and
AC), and digital (DCC) voltage.
The output delivers 6 Volts DC.

Achten Sie beim Anschluss unbe-
dingt auf eine korrekte Polarität!
2. Anschluss
Die Beschaltung der Platine ist
aus der Abbildung 1 ersichtlich.
In Kapitel 3 dieser Anleitung sind
ein paar typische Anwendungen
dokumentiert.
3. Einbau
Der 6V-Festspannungsregler sollte
mit einer Schraube sicher befestigt
werden. Dabei ist darauf zu achten,
dass es keinen Kurzschluss mit
Metallteilen am Montageplatz gibt.
Wenn aus Platzgründen nötig,
kann die Befestigungslasche
entfernt und die Platine mit dop-
pelseitigem Klebeband aufgeklebt
werden.
Mind the correct polarity when
connecting it to the set-up.
2. Hook-up
The wiring diagram in illustration
1 shows the hook-up details.
Please refer to chapter 3 for typical
applications.
3. Installation
TheeMOTION6Voltxedvoltage
regulator should be installed se-
curely with a screw. Make sure to
avoid any short circuits caused by
metal parts of the locomotive. The
mounting strap may be removed
if necessary for lack of space and
double-sided tape may be used
toxit.

3.1 Erweiterte Möglichkeiten
Der hier dargestellte Decoder
(eMOTION XL #8150001) und
Funktionsausgang dient nur als
Beispiel. Es kann jeder andere ver-
gleichbare Decoder sowie Ausgang
benutzt werden, sofern dieser den
Spezikationenentspricht.
3.2 Anschluss von Glühlampen,
LEDs und Verdampfern
5V-Glühlampen oder 5V-Ver-
dampfer (z.B. Massoth #8310101)
werden einfach an den Ausgang
angeschlossen. Beim Anschluss
von LEDs ist die Polung zu beach-
ten und ein passender Vorwider-
stand erforderlich.
3.1 Additional applications
The decoder shown (eMOTION
XL #8150001) and the function
output serve as an example only.
It may be substituted with any
comparable decoder or output
as far as it conforms to required
specications.
3.2 Hook-up of light bulbs,
LEDs and smoke generators
5 Volt light bulbs or 5 Volt
smoke generators (e.g. Massoth
#8310101) can directly be con-
nected to the outlet. Connecting
LEDs requires the correct polarity
and a proper sized current limiting
resistor.

3.3 Anschluss eines Servos
Schließen Sie den Servo über den
Regler gemäß Abbildung 3 an den
Decoder an. Achten Sie im Deco-
der auf die richtige Einstellung für
den Servobetrieb. Der benötigte
Pull-Up Widerstand (2x) ist auf der
Platine bereits vorhanden.
3.4 Anschluss für Spannungspuffer
Der Regler verfügt serienmäßig
über die benötigten Pufferkon-
densatoren. Zusätzlich können an
„+22V“ und „GND“ Kondensatoren
angeschlossen werden.
3.3 Hook-up of a RC servo
According to the wiring diagram
shown in illustration 3, connect the
RC servo with the regulator to the
decoder. Please ensure the correct
setting of the decoder for RC servo
operation. The required pull-up
resistor (2x) is already integrated
on the board.
3.4 Hook-up of an additional buffer
This regulator is serially equipped
with the necessary buffer capaci-
tors. Additional capacitors may be
connected to “+22V” and “GND”.
ACHTUNG
Achten Sie beim Anschluss unbedingt auf
die Polarität, bei falscher Polung besteht
Explosionsgefahr!
WARNING
You must connect the capacitors in the
correct polarity. Danger of explosion if
connected with inverted polarity!
