Assembly instruction:
1. Dismantle the bumper of the vehicle and the metal reinforcement bar (the bar will
not be used again).
2. Put the bar of the towing hitch in place of the steel bar using bolts M10x100 (pos. )
as shown in the drawing. To install the bar in holes B (for A4 produced 11/2000-
11/2004) or C (for A4 produced 11/2004-3/2008) should be remove plastic hole
plugs.
3. For vehicles equipped in GPS, to install aerial GPS in openings D.
4. Fix the ball with the M12x70mm bolts (pos. 4) from the equipment.
. Tighten all the bolt and nuts according to the table below.
6. Assemble the electric installation according to the factory vehicle instruction.
7. Cut off the part of the bumper that obstructs the assembly.
8. Unscrew plastic fixing bumper from the metal reinforcement bar and screw to
beam of the towing hitch, using bolts M6 (pos. 6).
9. Assemble the bumper.
Remarks:
1. Isolating mass in the adhesion spot of the towing hitch shall be removed.
2. After the assembly refresh the paint coat of the towing hitch.
3. Once the towing hitch is assembled, it is necessary to gain an entry in the
registration book from the vehicle control station.
4. All the defects in the paint coat of the vehicle shall be corrosion protected.
. After 1000km all the screws and nuts shall be tightened.
6. The hook ball must be clean and maintained with a grease.
7. It is unacceptable to introduce any changes into the towing hitch construction.

Isolating mass in the adhesion spot of the towing hitch shall be removed, and the drilled
holes shall be covered with an anti corrosive paint.
