3.2. PLACING
·Put your machine on a smooth floor.
·Be sure that the machine is stable while your machine is running.
3.3. ELECTRICAL CONTACT
·Make sure that the electrical contact of your machine is certainly done by a qualified
person or people.
·Be sure that the voltage of your electrical system is same with the voltage which is written
on your machine’s label.
The machine must be earthed with yellow/green cable

1.1. DEFINITION
MATEKA Potato Peelers reduce potato peeling time so that lightens your workload.

3. INSTALLATION
Make sure that the installation of your machine is certainly done by a qualified person or
people.
3. 1. CARRYING
Prefer to carry the machine with a pallet or a forklift. If you do not have an opportunity like this,
do not carry it alone. The centre of gravity of the machine is in the middle of the body. Consider
this point while you are carrying the machine with a forklift, a pallet or in another way.
Take all precautions to not to fall over the machine. The centre of gravity of the
machine is in the middle of the body
Certainly do not carry the machine by dragging it on the ground
4. USAGE AND SAFETY
4.1. ACTION
Mount your machine’s water access connection with the hose that was given to you with
your machine.
Clean the potatoes that you want to peel, and be sure that they are not muddy.
Put the potatoes in acceptable amounts and close top and front covers. For maximum
capacities info (Table 1)
Plug your machine.
Set the time of running your machine through timer which is on control panel, (Figure 2)
Press start button and run the machine (Figure 2)
If you stop your machine before the adjusted time, just press stop button(Figure 2)

4.7. SAFETY
Various precautions were taken against to hazardous situations. When top or front cover is
opened, your machine will be stopped automatically through the micro switches that are on the
top and front covers. Also, the control panel is on the cover and is independent. Do not
definetely open top or front cover before you stop the machine. Do not touch sandpaper inside
the machine while the machine is running.
Do not hold water under your machine. Otherwise, you may cause motor
heating and/or electric shock
Your safe work is inreased through the micro switch that is on the top and
front covers. When any cover is opened, micro switch will close the circuit
and stop the machine
5. CLEANING AND HYGIENE
Spilling the potatoes in the machine from the bag is the most common usage mistake. Instead
of that, put the potatoes with the help of an utensil and put them to the machine after clean
them. Pay attention that there is no sand, earth or broken stones inside the potatoes.
·Keep water open until the material inside the machine is totally clean.
·Start cleaning after your job with your machine is done and clean your machine while it does
not run.
If potates were completely peeled before the adjusted time, you can stop the machine.
After you stop the machine, keep water open for a while, so that the potatoes will be
cleaned completely.
Take all precautions to not to press your hands between cover and body.
Be sure that close the cover completely
After the adjusted time is over, on your next usage the time, which was
previously set by you , will be valid
The recommended duration for potatoe peeling is 3 to 5 minutes. This
duration may change regarding the material’s type and size
Do not definetely spill the potatoes into the machine from bag. Instead
of that, put the potatoes with the help of an utensil and put them into
the machine after clean them. Pay attention that there is no sand, earth
or broken stones inside the potatoes

Press the stop button to stop the machine. (Figure 2)
Even if your machine is running time adjusted, to stop your machine, press stop button and
turn off the swicth and unplug. Do not definetely run the timer counter clockwise.

·Before you start cleaning surely unplug your machine.
·Clean your machine’s body with hot water and detergent.
·Do not try to clean your machine’s inside by hand.
·Do not wash your machine with pressurized water.
·Do not definetely try to clean your machine while the machine is running.
·Rerun your machine after it is completely dry.

7. ATTENDANCE
Clean your machine’s body with a moist fabric after each usage or daily. Take out sub disc
and clean dust, dirt and the other collections at least one time per week. (Figure 1)
Be sure that the sub disc fixes on its recess completely. Remove it to
right or left side, if it is needed
