weight capacity of the tailgate when loading, if not removed.
zEnsure equipment being loaded/unloaded will adequately and safely fit within the 54-inch width of the
ramp.
zMeasure the bed/deck height of the truck/trailer from the ground and ensure it is within 34-1/2-inches.
Attempting to use the ramp on a truck/trailer that is higher than this will create an excessively steep
loading angle that is unsafe.
zThis ramp is designed to only be used with all three panels unfolded and open to form a flat loading
surface.
zNever attempt to separate the ramp sections and use individually.
zDo not modify the ramp and do not use this ramp for purposes that it was not designed for.
zNever attempt to permanently attach the ramp to a vehicle.
zWear work gloves while setting up and loading/unloading from the ramp.
zMaterial edges can be sharp. Avoid placing figures near point-points when handling the ramp.
zInspect the components of the ramp prior to use. If any parts of the ramp or tie-downs are broken or
damaged, they should be repaired or replaced prior to use.
zEnsure the ramp, equipment, and the truck/trailer bed are clean, dry and free of debris prior to use.
zEnsure the ignition of the vehicle being loaded to is off, set the parking break before setting up the ramp
and ensure the parking break is applied before loading/unloading. Apply wheel chocks to the vehicle being
loaded to for added safety. Failure to do so may cause the vehicle to creep forward and result in damage,
injury, and/or death.
zEnsure the angled tips of the ramp are level and in full contact with the leading edge of the truck/trailer bed
before attempting to use the ramp.
zBe aware that applying the angled tips of the ramp may cause damage to the paint finish of the vehicle
being loaded to.
zBoth included tie-down straps with hooks must be securely attached to the ramp and to secure anchor
points of the vehicle prior to use.
zBe aware of the dangers of dynamic loads. Where a load is dropped or forced onto the ramp, short-term
excessive loads on the ramp will occur. This can result in damage and/or failure of the ramp and/or vehicle
tail gate, and personal injury to the operator, even if the load is within the maximum capacity.
zOperating and manoeuvring power equipment such as a snowmobile, ATV, motorcycle, or other
equipment up and down the ramp can be strenuous and dangerous. This should only be done by
individuals who are physically capable of handling the demands of this task.
zNever place yourself in the direct path of, or behind, equipment being loaded/unloaded.
zNever allow spectators, children or animals to walk on the ramp and keep the loading area clear while
setting up, loading or unloading.
zKeep away from children as the ramp is not a toy.
zPlease note the warnings in this manual cannot cover all possible events and circumstances that may
occur when using this ramp. It is important that the person loading/unloading and using this product is
alert and uses common sense at all times.
