Mit diesem Lockenstab zauberst du Locken so schnell, sicher und komforta-
bel wie die Profis! 5 Aufsätze stehen dir für den Curly-Look von Ringellocken
bis hin zu lässigen Beach Waves zu Verfügung. Die Temperatur lässt sich an
jeden Haartyp und jede Haarlänge individuell anpassen und jederzeit auf
dem LED-Display ablesen. Mit dem beiliegenden Hitze-Handschuh kannst du
sogar schwer erreichbare Partien wie den Hinterkopf ohne Angst vor Verbren-
nungen stylen.

ein Bestandteil des Gerätes. Hersteller und Importeur übernehmen keine
Haftung, wenn die Angaben in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung nicht beachtet
werden.

BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄßER GEBRAUCH
■Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich
zum Stylen menschlichen Haupt-
haares bestimmt. Es ist nicht für
synthetische Perücken geeignet.
■Das Gerät ist für den privaten Ge-
brauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche
Nutzung bestimmt.
■Das Gerät nur für den angege-
benen Zweck und nur wie in der
Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben
nutzen. Jede weitere Verwen-
dung gilt als bestimmungswidrig.
■Von der Gewährleistung ausge-
schlossen sind alle Mängel, die
durch unsachgemäße Behand-
lung, Beschädigung oder Repara-
turversuche entstehen. Dies gilt
auch für den normalen Verschleiß.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
■Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von
Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung
und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsich-
tigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerä-
tes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden

■Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht durch
Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie werden

Wasser benutzen.

Anschlussleitung nicht selbst austauschen. Wenn das
Gerät oder die Anschlussleitung des Gerätes beschädigt
sind, müssen diese durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice
oder eine Fachwerkstatt ersetzt bzw. repariert werden,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
■Das Gerät ist nach dem Gebrauch, bei nicht vorhande-
ner Aufsicht und vor dem Reinigen stets vom Netz zu
trennen.

GEFAHR – Stromschlag-
gefahr
■Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen
Räumen verwenden und lagern.
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit betreiben
oder lagern.
■Das Gerät und die Anschluss-
leitung niemals in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten eintauchen
und sicherstellen, dass diese
nicht ins Wasser fallen oder nass
werden können.
■Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen,
während es an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist, das Gerät nicht
berühren, sondern sofort den
Netzadapter aus der Steckdose
ziehen! Erst danach das Gerät
aus dem Wasser holen.
■Das Gerät und die Anschlusslei-
tung niemals mit feuchten Hän-
den berühren, wenn das Gerät an
das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
■Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn
es eine Fehlfunktion hatte, ins
Wasser gefallen ist oder sichtbare
Schäden am Gerät, Zubehör oder
an der Anschlussleitung vorhan-
den sind. Vor erneuter Inbetrieb-
nahme in einer Fachwerkstatt
überprüfen lassen.
WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät von brennbaren Mate-
rialien und Substanzen fernhalten.
■Das Gerät während des Betriebs
nicht abdecken!
■Die Anschlussleitung vor dem An-
schließen des Gerätes vollständig
auseinanderwickeln.
WARNUNG – Verletzungs-
gefahr
■Kinder und Tiere von Verpa-
ckungsmaterial fernhalten. Es
besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
■Sicherstellen, dass die Anschluss-
leitung stets außer Reichweite
von Kleinkindern und Tieren ist.
Es besteht Strangulationsgefahr.
■Darauf achten, dass die An-
schlussleitung keine Stolperge-
fahr darstellt.
VORSICHT: Der Aufsatz wird
während des Gebrauchs heiß!
Vorsicht im Umgang mit dem
Gerät; ausschließlich am Griff
festhalten. Es besteht Ver-
brennungsgefahr!
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material-
und Sachschäden
■Das Gerät bei Raumtemperatur
benutzen und lagern. Das Gerät
schützen vor: Feuer und Wärme-
quellen, extremen Temperatu-
ren, Temperaturschwankungen
und längerer direkter Sonnen-
einstrahlung.
■Keine schweren Gegenstände auf
das Gerät, seine Anschlussleitung
oder das Zubehör stellen. Das
Gerät vor Stößen schützen.
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts-
mäßig installierte Steckdose
anschließen. Die Steckdose muss
auch nach dem Anschließen
gut zugänglich sein, damit die
Netzverbindung schnell getrennt
werden kann. Die Netzspannung
muss mit den Angaben auf dem
Typenschild des Gerätes überein-
stimmen.
■Die Anschlussleitung so verlegen,
dass sie nicht gequetscht, ge-
knickt oder über scharfen Kanten
gelegt wird und nicht mit heißen
Flächen in Berührung kommt.

■Vor einem Gewitter den Netzste-
cker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
■Bei Schäden / Störungen das
Gerät sofort ausschalten / vom
Stromnetz trennen.
■Beim Trennen vom Stromnetz,
immer am Netzstecker und nie
am Netzkabel ziehen.
■Das Gerät nicht an der Anschluss-
leitung ziehen oder tragen.
■Die Anschlussleitung nie um das
Gerät wickeln.
■Nur Original-Zubehörteile des
Herstellers verwenden, um die
Funktionsweise des Gerätes nicht
zu beeinträchtigen und eventuelle
Schäden zu verhindern.
KLEINE EINFÜHRUNG
Aufsätze
Im Lieferumfang befinden sich 5
Aufsätze(2– 6) für unterschiedliche
Lockengrößen (Bild A):
• 9 – 18mm-Aufsatz für Ringel-
locken
• 19mm-Aufsatz für Korkenzieher-
locken
• 19 – 25mm-Aufsatz für definierte
Locken
• 25mm-Aufsatz für Beach Waves
• 32mm-Aufsatz für voluminöse
Wellen
Grundsätzlich gilt: je schmaler der
Aufsatz, desto kleiner die Locken.
Das Ergebnis hängt aber auch von
der Haarstruktur und -länge sowie
der Dauer der Hitzeeinwirkung ab.
Wir empfehlen, sich mit dem Gerät
vertraut zu machen und die verschie-
denen Aufsätze auszuprobieren.
Temperatur und Einwirkdauer
Ist die Einwirkdauer zu lang oder
die Temperatur zu hoch, kann dies,
vor allem bei feinem und trockenem
Haar, zu Haarschäden führen. Im um-
gekehrten Fall könnte das Ergebnis
unzureichend sein.
In der Regel eignet sich:
• hohe Temeperatur (ca. 230°C) für
starkes Haar
• mittlere Temperatur (ca. 190
– 210°C) für normales, wider-
standsfähiges Haar
• niedrige Temperatur (ca. 80 –
150°C) für feines oder geschädig-
tes Haar
Beim ersten Gebrauch das Gerät erst
an einer unauffälligen Stelle auspro-
bieren, um die richtige Temperatur
und Einwirkdauer für das Haar her-
auszufinden.
Styling-Produkte
Wir empfehlen, ein Hitzeschutzspray
zu verwenden.
Bei Bedarf kann Föhnspray oder
etwas Haarfestiger benutzt werden.
Diesen jedoch sparsam auftragen
und den Aufsatz nach der Benutzung
reinigen (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung
und Aufbewahrung“).
Andere Styling-Produkte vor der
Behandlung vermeiden, um dem
Haar nicht zu schaden. Haarspray auf
jeden Fall erst nach der Benutzung
des Gerätes verwenden!

BENUTZUNG
Beachten!
■Das Gerät nicht auf nassen Haaren
verwenden. Sie müssen zumindest
handtuchtrocken sein!
■Den Aufsatz vom Gesicht, insbe-
sondere von den Augen, fern-
halten. Außerdem einen Sicher-
heitsabstand zwischen Kopf und
Aufsatz von mindestens 3 – 5cm
halten.
■Wir empfehlen, den mitgeliefer-
ten Handschuh zu tragen, um die
Hand zu schützen, falls sie den
heißen Aufsatz während des Sty-
lings versehentlich berührt.
■Beim Ablegen des heißen Ge-
rätes darauf achten, dass es auf
dem Standfuß steht.
■Vor dem Abnehmen des Auf-
satzes warten, bis sich dieser
abgekühlt hat.
Aufsatz anbringen/abnehmen
• Den Aufsatz(2– 6) auf den
Griff(1) stecken, bis er einrastet.
Dabei muss der Aufsatz so ausge-
richtet sein, dass das Symbol
auf dem Aufsatz oben (in einer
Linie mit dem Display(10) sowie
den Tasten) und der Standfuß(8)
unten ist (Bild C).
• Um den Aufsatz vom Griff zu tren-
nen, die beiden Entriegelungs-
knöpfe(9) gedrückt halten und
den Aufsatz abziehen.
Styling
1. Vor der Verwendung die Haare
gut durchkämmen. Sicherzustel-
len, dass keine Knoten in den
Haaren sind.
2. Den gewünschten Aufsatz am
Griff anbringen (s.o.).
3. Die Anschlussleitung vollständig
auseinanderwickeln und den
Netzstecker an eine gut zugängli-
che Steckdose anschließen.
Daraufhin wird auf dem Dis-
play(10) OFF angezeigt. Das
Gerät ist einsatzbereit.
4. Um das Gerät einzuschalten, die
ON/OFF Ein- / Aus-Taste(12) ge-
drückt halten, bis auf dem Display
180 °C erscheint.
Das Gerät beginnt automatisch,
den Aufsatz auf 180°C aufzu-
heizen. Dabei wird die aktuelle
(fortlaufend steigende) Tempera-
tur angezeigt.
5. Bereits während der Aufheizpha-
se kann die Temperatur einge-
stellt werden. Dazu die +bzw.
–Taste(11) so lange gedrückt
halten, bis auf dem Display die
gewünschte Temperatur erscheint
und dann loslassen.
Nach dem Loslassen wird wieder
die aktuelle (fortlaufend steigen-
de bzw. sinkende) Temperatur
angezeigt.
6. Einen Moment warten, bis sich
der Aufsatz aufgeheizt hat. Das
Gerät kann währenddessen auf
dem Standfuß(8) abgestellt
werden.
7. Wenn sich die Temperaturanzei-
ge nicht mehr verändert, ist die
eingestellte Temperatur erreicht.
Jetzt kann mit dem Styling be-
gonnen werden.
Soll das gesamte Haar behandelt
werden, beim Nacken anfangen
und Strähne für Strähne bis zur
Stirn wie folgt bearbeiten:
○Die Haare in Partien unterteilen.
○Den Aufsatz mit der Spitze nach
unten gerichtet 3 – 5cm vom
Kopf entfernt halten. Darauf
achten, dass er nicht die Kopf-
haut berührt!

○Eine Haarsträhne von oben nach
unten um den Aufsatz wickeln.
○Kurz (ca. 2 – 4s) halten, dann
die Strähne loslassen.
○Den Aufsatz vorsichtig nach
oben oder zur Seite wegziehen.
8. Zum Ausschalten des Gerätes die
ON/OFF Ein- / Aus-Taste ge-
drückt halten, bis auf dem Display
OFF erscheint.
 Das Gerät schaltet sich nach
30Minuten automatisch ab.
9. Den Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose ziehen und den Aufsatz
abkühlen lassen.
10. Das Haar abkühlen lassen und an-
schließend mit Styling-Produkten
fertig frisieren.
REINIGUNG UND
AUFBEWAHRUNG
Beachten!
■Die Anschlussleitung nicht um
das Gerät wickeln.
■Zum Reinigen keine scharfen oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel
oder Reinigungspads verwenden.
Diese können die Oberflächen
beschädigen.
• Rückstände von Styling-Pro-
dukten gleich nach der Benut-
zung vom Aufsatz(2– 6) abwi-
schen. Dazu ein feuchtes Tuch
benutzen.
• Den Griff(1) bei Bedarf mit einem
feuchten Tuch abwischen. An-
schließend mit einem trockenen
Tuch nachwischen.
• Den Handschuh(7) mit der Hand
waschen. Keine Weichspüler
verwenden.
• Kühl, trocken, für Kinder und
Tiere unzugänglich aufbewahren.
PROBLEMBEHEBUNG
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsge-
mäß funktionieren, überprüfen, ob
ein Problem selbst behoben werden
kann. Lässt sich mit den nachfol-
genden Schritten das Problem nicht
lösen, den Kundenservice kontaktie-
ren.
Nicht versuchen, ein elektri-
sches Gerät selbst zu repa-
rieren!
Das Gerät funktioniert nicht.
Der Netzstecker steckt nicht richtig in
der Steckdose.
►Den Sitz des Netzsteckers korri-
gieren.
Die Steckdose ist defekt.
►Eine andere Steckdose auspro-
bieren.
Es ist keine Netzspannung vorhan-
den.
►Die Sicherung des Netzanschlus-
ses überprüfen.
Der Überhitzungsschutz wurde aus-
gelöst.
►Den Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose ziehen und das Gerät voll-
ständig abkühlen lassen. Danach
erneut versuchen.
Die Sicherung im Sicherungs-
kasten wird ausgelöst.
Zu viele Geräte am selben Stromkreis
angeschlossen.
►Anzahl der Geräte im Stromkreis
reduzieren.
Geruchsentwicklung
Der Aufsatz(2– 6) ist verschmutzt.
►Den Aufsatz reinigen (sie-
he Kapitel „Reinigung und
Aufbewahrung“).

Dampfentwicklung
Das Gerät wird auf feuchtem Haar
verwendet.
►Hierbei handelt es sich um ver-
dampfende Feuchtigkeit aus den
Haaren.
ENTSORGUNG
Das Verpackungsmaterial
umweltgerecht entsorgen
und der Wertstoffsammlung
zuführen.
Dieses Gerät unterliegt
der europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU für Elektro- und

This curler will allow you to magically create curls as quickly, safely and com-
fortably as the professionals! 5 attachments are provided to create a curly look
ranging from ringlets to casual beach waves. The temperature can be individu-
ally adapted to any hair type and any hair length and read on the LED display
at any time. The heat-resistant glove which is included even allows you to style
areas which are difficult to reach such as the back of the head without worrying
about burns.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Attachments
The items supplied include 5 attach-
ments(2– 6) for curls of different
sizes (Picture A):
• 9 – 18mm attachment for ringlets
• 19mm attachment for corkscrew
curls
• 19 – 25mm attachment for de-
fined curls
• 25mm attachment for beach
waves
• 32mm attachment for voluminous
waves
As a general rule, the narrower the
attachment, the tighter the curls.
However, the result also depends on
the structure and length of the hair
and on how long the heat is applied
for.
We recommend that you familiarise
yourself with the device and try out
the different attachments.
Temperature and Application
Time
If the application time is too long or
the temperature is too high, this can
cause damage to the hair, particularly
if the hair is fine and dry. Conversely,
the result could be unsatisfactory.
In general:
• high temperature (approx. 230°C)
is suitable for strong hair
• medium temperature (approx. 190
– 210°C) is suitable for normal,
robust hair
• low temperature (approx. 80
– 150°C) is suitable for fine or
damaged hair
When you first use the device, try it
out first in an inconspicuous spot to
discover the right temperature and
application time for the hair.
Styling Products
We recommend that you use a heat
protection spray.
If necessary, hair spray or a little hair
gel can be used. However, apply it
sparingly and clean the attachment
after each use (see the “Cleaning and
Storage” chapter).
Avoid using other styling products
before the treatment so that you do
not damage the hair. You should defi-
nitely only ever use hair spray after
using the device!
USE
Please Note!
■Do not use the device on wet hair.
It must be at least towel-dried!
■Keep the attachment away from
the face, in particular the eyes.
Also maintain a safe distance
between the head and attachment
of at least 3 – 5cm.
■We recommend wearing the glove
which is supplied to protect the
hand if it accidentally touches the
hot attachment during styling.
■When you place the hot device
down, make sure that it rests on
the stand.
■Wait until the attachment has
cooled down before detaching it.

Attaching / Detaching the
Attachment
• Plug the attachment(2– 6) onto
the handle(1) until it engages.
The attachment must be oriented
so that the symbol on the at-
tachment is at the top (in line with
the display(10) and the buttons)
and the stand(8) is at the bottom
(Picture C).
• To separate the attachment from
the handle, hold down the two
release buttons(9) and pull off the
attachment.
Styling
1. Comb through the hair before
using the device. Make sure there
are no knots in the hair.
2. Attach the attachment you want
to the handle (see above).
3. Fully unwind the connecting cable
and connect the mains plug to an
easily accessible plug socket.
The display(10) then shows OFF.
The device is ready to be used.
4. To switch on the device, hold
down the ON/OFF button(12) un-
til 180°C appears on the display.
The device automatically begins
to heat the attachment up to
180°C. The current (constantly
rising) temperature is displayed.
5. The temperature can be set even
during the heating-up phase. To
do this, hold down the +or –but-
ton(11) until the temperature you
want appears on the display and
then let go.
After you let go of the button, the
current (constantly rising or falling)
temperature is displayed again.
6. Wait a moment until the attach-
ment has heated up. In the mean-
time, the device can be placed
down on the stand(8).
7. When the temperature display
stops changing, the set tempera-
ture has been reached. Styling can
now begin.
If all the hair is to be treated, start
at the neck and work your way
strand by strand to the forehead
as follows:
○Divide the hair into sections.
○Hold the attachment with the
tip pointing down 3 – 5cm away
from your head. Make sure it
does not touch the scalp!
○Wind a strand of hair around the
attachment from top to bottom.
○Hold it briefly (approx. 2 – 4s),
then release the strand.
○Carefully pull the attachment
away upwards or to the side.
8. To switch off the device, hold
down the ON/OFF button until
OFF appears on the display.
 The device automatically
switches off after 30 minutes.
9. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket and allow the attachment
to cool down.
10. Allow the hair to cool and then
finish styling it with styling prod-
ucts.

CLEANING AND
STORAGE
Please Note!
■Do not wind the connecting cable
around the device.
■Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads
to clean the device. These may
damage the surfaces.
• Wipe residues of styling products
off the attachment(2– 6) immedi-
ately after use. Use a damp cloth
to do this.
• Wipe down the handle(1) with
a damp cloth if necessary. Then
wipe it with a dry cloth.
• Wash the glove(7) by hand. Do
not use fabric softener.
• Store the device in a cool, dry
place that is out of the reach of
children and animals.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify
the problem yourself. If the prob-
lem cannot be solved with the steps
below, contact the customer service
department.
Do not attempt to repair an
electrical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the
plug socket correctly.
►Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
►Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
The overheating protection has been
triggered.
►Pull the mains plug out of the
plug socket and allow the device
to cool down completely. Then
try again.
The fuse in the fuse box is trig-
gered.
Too many devices connected to the
same circuit.
►Reduce the number of devices in
the circuit.
Odour produced
The attachment(2– 6) is dirty.
►Clean the attachment (see the
“Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
Steam produced
The device is being used on wet hair.
►This is moisture evaporating from
your hair.
