Your MZ03 alarm system will be automatically armed when you lock the car doors pressing the LOCK BUTTON of
your Mazda genuine remote control. You will see the direction indicators flash once and a flashing LED of alarm
system confirming it has been armed successfully.
The alarm will be disarmed when the doors are unlocked pressing the UNLOCK BUTTON of your Mazda genuine
remote control or pressing the button present on the door handle for the car with the original keyless system.
You will see the direction indicators flash twice and a the alarm LED goes off confirming it has been disarmed
successfully.
After triggered an alarm cycle in your absence the system will be disarmed when the doors are unlocked pressing the
UNLOCK BUTTON of your Mazda genuine remote control, you will see the direction indicators flash twice and hear
the siren make a short sounds in order to inform you.
To know the triggered alarm cause follow the indications described in section "alarm trigger memory".
Note: in case of loss of the original remote control or battery discharge, it is possible to access the car by opening the
doors with the hard key. This action will generate an optical/acoustical alarm: follow the instructions in the
"emergency"section to stop the alarm sounding.
For the first 25 seconds after your car alarm has been armed, you will you will be informed of any attempts to break
in to your car by one flash. After 25 seconds, the security system enters its pre-alarm status and will trigger a full alarm
if any attempts is made to break into the car.
When the alarm is armed, it controls:
• If the doors are opened, by means of the standard courtesy light switches.
• If the bonnet or boot are opened, by means of the standard switches or additional switches.
• If there is any movement inside the vehicle, by means of its volumetrical sensors.
• If the power supply is cut, by means of siren with incorporated self-powered battery.
• If any attempts are made to start up the engine, by means a check of the ignition on the instrument panel.
• If the doors are opened, by means of the standards switches or additional switches.
 •Thesirenwillconrmbysoundingrapidly3timesafterturningignitionkeyONandOFFtwice.
Arm the alarm system within the next 15 seconds.

ULTRASONIC SENSORS
After you have disarmed the alarm, you may notice the LED
flashing.
This is to inform you that an acoustic alarm signal, or more than
one, was triggered in your absence.
You can identify what caused the alarm by using the next table.
The alarm system will continue to repeat the cycle of these
signals until you turn the ignition key to the ON position or
re-arm the alarm system itself.
Note: If the LED is flashing after you have disarmed the alarm, please read the section on “Alarm trigger memory”

If the bonnet is ajar or have not been closed properly before you arm, the alarm system will not be able to safeguard
the level of security it was designed to provide.

youarm,thealarmsystemwillnotbeabletosafeguardthelevelofsecurityitwasdesignedtoprovide.
To preventthis, make sureignition isin OFF position,the bonnet, thedoors,the liftgate/bootlid andsunroof (if
equipped)areclosed.InordertoarmthealarmpresstheLOCKBUTTONonthetransmitter.Thehazardwarning
lightswillashonceandLEDstartashing.

In case of loss of the original remote control or battery discharge, it is possibile to access the car by opening the doors
with the hard key. This action will generate an optical/acoustical alarm that will be stopped turning ON the ignition panel
for few seconds to recognise a deactivation message from original key.
The disarming of the alarm system will be confermed by alarm LED that goes OFF.
In order to reactivate the alarm system, it is necessary to lock/unlock the doors by original remote control and at the
next lock command the alarm system it will be activated as described in the "how it works" section.

Ihr Alarmsystem MZ03 wird automatisch scharfgeschaltet, wenn Sie die Türsicherungen Ihres Fahrzeugs mit der
serienmäßigen Fernbedienung TASTE LOCK schließen. Die Scharfschaltung wird durch das Blinken der Alarm-
leuchtdiode und durch ein mehrmaliges Aufblinken der Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger signalisiert.
Die Entschärfung erfolgt beim Öffnen der Türsicherungen mit der serienmäßigen Fernbedienung TASTE UNLOCK
oder mittels Drucktaste des Fernbedienungssystems an den Griffen der Türen bei den Autos mit Keyless-System und
wird durch das Ausgehen der Leuchtdiode und durch ein mehrmaliges Aufblinken der Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger signal-
isiert.
Nach einem Alarm erfolgt das Entschärfen beim Öffnen der Türsicherungen immer mit der serienmäßigen Fernbedi-
enung und es wird durch ein mehrmaliges Aufblinken der Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger, dem sofort ein kurzer Sirenenton
folgt, signalisiert. Um die Ursache des Alarms zu erfahren, dem im Kapitel “Alarmspeicher” Beschriebenen folgen.
HINWEIS: Wenn Sie das Fahrzeug mit dem Autoschlüssel öffnen müssen, weil die serienmäßige Fernbedienung
nicht funktioniert, löst das System beim Öffnen der Tür einen optischen/akustischen Alarm aus. Befolgen Sie zum
Ausschalten dieses Alarms die Anweisungen im Kapitel “Notentsperrung”.
In den ersten 25 Sekunden nach dem Scharfschalten des Alarmsystems wird jeder Einbruchsversuch durch das
einmalige Aufblinken der Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger gemeldet. Nach weiteren 25 Sekunden schaltet das System in den
Voralarm-Zustand und löst bei jedem Einbruchsversuch einen Alarm aus.
Das Alarmsystem kontrolliert im scharfgeschalteten Zustand Folgendes:
• Öffnen der Fahrzeugtüren mittels der serienmäßigen Tasten der Türen
• Öffnen des Motor- und des Kofferraums mittels der serienmäßigen Tasten
• Bewegung eines Körpers innerhalb des Fahrgastraums mittels der volumetrischen Sensoren.
• Unterbrechung der Stromversorgung mittels einer in die Sirene integrierten Batterie.
• Anlassversuch mittels einer Kontrolle der Zündung im Armaturenbrett.
•DieTüröffnungüberdieumlaufendenserienmäßigenoderzusätzlichenSchalter.
 •DieSirenebestätigtdenAusschluss,indemsie3kurzeTöneabgibt,wennderZündschlüsselzweimalgedrehtwurde.
DenAlarminnerhalbvon15Sekundenaktivieren.
