Your MZ03 alarm system will be automatically armed when you lock the car doors pressing the LOCK BUTTON of
your Mazda genuine remote control. You will see the direction indicators flash once and a flashing LED of alarm
system confirming it has been armed successfully.
The alarm will be disarmed when the doors are unlocked pressing the UNLOCK BUTTON of your Mazda genuine
remote control or pressing the button present on the door handle for the car with the original keyless system.
You will see the direction indicators flash twice and a the alarm LED goes off confirming it has been disarmed
successfully.
After triggered an alarm cycle in your absence the system will be disarmed when the doors are unlocked pressing the
UNLOCK BUTTON of your Mazda genuine remote control, you will see the direction indicators flash twice and hear
the siren make a short sounds in order to inform you.
To know the triggered alarm cause follow the indications described in section "alarm trigger memory".
Note: in case of loss of the original remote control or battery discharge, it is possible to access the car by opening the
doors with the hard key. This action will generate an optical/acoustical alarm: follow the instructions in the
"emergency"section to stop the alarm sounding.
For the first 25 seconds after your car alarm has been armed, you will you will be informed of any attempts to break
in to your car by one flash. After 25 seconds, the security system enters its pre-alarm status and will trigger a full alarm
if any attempts is made to break into the car.
When the alarm is armed, it controls:
• If the doors are opened, by means of the standard courtesy light switches.
• If the bonnet or boot are opened, by means of the standard switches or additional switches.
• If there is any movement inside the vehicle, by means of its volumetrical sensors.
• If the power supply is cut, by means of siren with incorporated self-powered battery.
• If any attempts are made to start up the engine, by means a check of the ignition on the instrument panel.
• If the doors are opened, by means of the standards switches or additional switches.
•Thesirenwillconrmbysoundingrapidly3timesafterturningignitionkeyONandOFFtwice.
Arm the alarm system within the next 15 seconds.
