3 INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
Rope choice:
Ensure before starting up, that the rope diameter and the type of the unit are
conform.
Rope reeving:
Hold the unit in one hand, with its head downward, and push the released
handle. When he is audible and noticeable locked in the upper end-position,
the grip jaws are open and the clean wire rope can be reeved to a desired
length. Having finished it, push the released handle downward by hand to
allow grip jaws to clamp the rope. When pulling the forward handle forward
and backward, the rope inlet or outlet shows that the unit works normally.
Make sure that the pulling hoist is ringed so that the anchor pin and wire rope
hook will form a straight length when the pulling hoist is operated and the
frame is free to swivel and will not come in contact with any object.
Anchoring:
The anchor pin is to be used to anchor the unit. The other tip of the rope can
be tied to load or masts. To arrest the anchor pin correctly, you have to insert
him into the machine case and turn him twice. Start operation not until the
second tunnel is obstructed. Remain the rope tip expose above the anchor
pin, to ensure that the rope can move normally.

Operating:
Attach the hook to the load and operate as following:
To lift a load (or pull a load):
move the forward handle forward and backward
To lower a load:
move the backward handle forward and backward
Rope removing:
After finishing work, first push the released handle, to open the grip jaws and
pull the rope out. Erase the dirt on the rope and wind it orderly on to the reel.
Press down the released handle that the grip jaws are not always in an open
state, thus the spring force of the tensioning spring will be reduced.
Warning
To avoid damage and/or personal injury:
1. Do not exceed maximum load of the wire rope pulling hoist!
2. Do not use the wire rope pulling hoist to lift people or loads over people!
3. Do not use a damaged or malfunctioning wire rope pulling hoist!
4. Do not use if the rope is worn (diameter reduces by 10%), or damaged!
5. Do not use the wire rope pulling hoist unless the hoist’s frame and rope
from a straight line between hook and anchor pin!
6. Do not use the wire rope pulling hoist if the hoist’s frame is in contact
with any object!
7. Do not leave a suspended load or wire rope pulling hoist under tension
unattended!
8. Do not use an extension on the handle. Operate using hand power only!
9. Do not apply loads to the tip of hooks or to the hook latches!
10. Never operate the wire rope pulling hoist when flammable materials or
vapors are present. Contact between metal parts may produce sparks
that can cause a fire or explosion!

4 MAINTENANCE
To maintain continuous and satisfactory operation, a regular inspection
procedure must be initiated so that worn or damage parts can be replaced
before they become unsafe.
If faults are defected, the wire rope pulling hoist must be put out of service
immediately. The intervals of inspection must be determined by the individual
application and are based up on the type of service to which the wire rope
pulling hoist is subjected.
The unit should be inspected for faultless operation and at least annually
investigated by an expert. Inspect the wire rope for wear, cracks and damage.
Inspect the jaw block for wear. Inspect the hook for flaws, cracks, distortion
and wear. Repairs may only be carried out by a specialist workshop that uses
original spare parts.
