Installation and Use
Connection and installation of these speakers is fairly straight forward. Each model includes a 1/4 jack and a pair of binding post
connections. Binding posts are positioned with standard spacing, so conventional speaker cables with paired banana plugs
may be used. Additionally, each binding post has a feed hole which will accept up to 12AWG wire. For prosound applications, it
is recommended that at least 16AWG wire be used for short lengths, longer lengths require 14AWG or 12AWG cable.
Binding post and 1/4” jacks are internally connected in parallel, and either may be used. Naturally, you would never connect
a single speaker to more that one amplier, however these two connections may be utilized simultaneously to connect more
than one speaker to a single line. Note that most ampliers are only capable of loads above 4Ω so only two speakers can be
connected to a single output.
Prior to connection to the amplier, make certain that the amplier is turned o󰀨, with the volume at the minimum setting. Attach
the speaker, using a proper speaker cable, turn on any source gear (mixer, cd player, musical instrument etc.), then turn on the
amplier. Increase amplier volume until sound reaches the desired level.

While these speakers are designed for rugged road use, care must be taken when using and transporting. They must not get
wet, be exposed to extreme levels of heat or humidity. Also, as they are heavy, extreme care should be used when placing
speakers on top of speaker stands and pole mounts.
Important
These speakers are intended for stationary use on at, solid, level surfaces. When using with speaker stands, it is the
responsibility of the user to be certain the stand is capable of supporting the weight of the speaker. Additionally, these are not
intended for ying installations. They should not be retrotted with ying hardware for support above stages.
