Introduction
1. Music function
You can choose between 12 dierent melodies.
2. Powerful motor
Insert the nasal nozzle of the aspirator into a nostril and remove
the liquid/solid nasal discharge.
3. Safe for use
The soft silicone nasal nozzles are specically designed to
prevent any injury during the use of the product.
4. Compact design, easy to use
Simple to hold and use. It is safe and comfortable to use for
babies.
5. Detachable and washable aspirator head
The nozzle, the container for nasal discharge, and the aspirator
head can be removed from the aspirator and washed. The
container for nasal discharge can be disinfected in boiling water.
6. Low weight and low noise
It's easy to use even while the baby is sleeping.
7. Battery
Two 1.5V AA batteries are included. You can easily replace your
batteries with new ones: anywhere and anytime.

Important Instructions for Use of the Product
Warning! Potential risks for children and people with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities!
1. This aspirator is not intended to be used by persons (including
children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or lack
of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety, or they have received
instructions from such person on how to use the aspirator.
2. Keep the aspirator out of the reach of children under 18 years of
age.
3. Supervise your children all the time so they don't play with the
aspirator.
4. Children are not allowed to handle the aspirator. They could
swallow small particles or batteries and suocate. Children could
suer injures if they use the aspirator.
Warning! Risk of personal injury!
1. Improper handling of the aspirator may result in personal injury.
2. Do not use the aspirator in case of malfunction. Do not attempt
to modify, disassemble or repair the aspirator, and do not replace
its parts.
3. If abnormalities occur during the use of the aspirator, stop the
use immediately and consult your physician.
4. Do not perform any other activities during the suction of nasal
discharge. Be still.
5. If you have any doubts regarding the use of the aspirator, please
consult your physician.
6. These instructions for use must be stored for the duration of the
product life cycle and handed over to a third party along with the
aspirator. The instructions for use should also be accessible to
third parties. The instructions for use are an integral part of the
aspirator.
7. Avoid improper use.

8. This aspirator cannot replace medical treatment! In the event of
a medical problem, you should see your physician.
9. The nasal nozzles, the container for nasal discharge, and other
components of the aspirator must be clean and dry. Avoid
damaging the aspirator. Only this way you can guarantee it will
operate eciently.
10. If the components of the aspirator are dirty, the suctioning may
be less ecient.
11. Do not use the aspirator if it is damaged. Using a damaged
device may cause personal injuries or serious danger.
12. While using the product, the baby should not hold its breath,
close its mouth, or swallow saliva, in order to avoid the
imbalance of the eardrum, caused by the vacuum.
13. If your baby does not feel well during the process, stop using
the device immediately and consult your physician.
14. Do not force the silicone nozzle into the nasal cavity. Insert the
nasal nozzle gently.
15. The product is intended for domestic use only. Consult your
physician in case of any nasal disease or disease related to
nasal congestion. Before each use, rinse the silicone nasal
nozzle.
16. DO NOT USE the aspirator when the patient has the
following contraindications:
– nosebleed
– acute head, face, or neck injury
– blood clotting disorders (coagulopathy)
17. Before using the product, please read the following instructions
carefully. Improper use of the product may result in the following
risks or complications:

18. Please keep silicone nasal nozzles out of the reach of children
and animals so they cannot swallow them.
19. The nozzle tip may cause allergic reactions. Consult your
physician before use.
20. The device is activated, creates a vacuum, and allows the
suction of nasal discharge only when you press and hold
the ON button. As soon as the button is released, the device
automatically turns o.
Warning! Risk of injury! Improper handling of the aspirator
may cause injuries.
1. Do not drop the aspirator on the oor, shake it, or expose it to
impacts.
2. To ensure eective suctioning of the nasal discharge, the product
must be protected from moisture, dirt, and damages.
3. Do not expose the aspirator to direct sunlight or to extremely
high or low temperatures. The aspirator must be used and stored
only in a dry and clean environment.
4. Do not open the aspirator and do not attempt to x it yourself
if malfunction or damage occurs. Doing so would void the
warranty claim. Only authorised persons are allowed to repair the
aspirator.
5. Do not store the aspirator in a place with extreme temperatures
(below -20°C or over 55°C), or in an extremely dry or moist
place, as this could cause the device to stop operating.

6. Do not use the aspirator in a wet environment. While using the
aspirator, keep it away from liquids and never immerse it in
liquid.
7. Do not place the aspirator near ammable materials and gases
or near explosives.
8. Do not use the aspirator in the mountains at an altitude of more
than 3,000 metres.
9. Electrical medical devices are subject to specic safety
regulations concerning electromagnetic compatibility. You must
comply with these rules when installing and using the aspirator.
10. Only use the aspirator strictly for the purpose of use stated in
these instructions for use. Do not use the device for any other
purposes.
The Mediblink M420 nasal aspirator can only be used with the
original Mediblink M420 nozzles. Please contact your dealer or
distributor for replacement parts.

Inserting Batteries
Warning! Risk of explosion!
Improper handling of batteries may result in explosion.
1. Only replace batteries with equal batteries or batteries of an
equivalent type.
2. Do not expose batteries to excessive heat such as the sun or
re.
3. Do not charge, re-activate, disassemble, or throw the batteries
into re, or cause a short-circuit.
Warning! Risk of personal injury!
Improper handling of batteries may result in injuries.
1. Keep the batteries out of reach of children.
2. Swallowing the batteries can be life-threatening. Therefore,
store the batteries out of reach and sight of children. If a
battery is swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
3. If battery uid leaks, avoid contact with skin, eyes, and
mucous membranes. In case of contact with acid, wash the
aected area immediately with plenty of clean water and
immediately see your physician.

Improper handling of batteries may result in injuries.
1. When inserting the battery, make sure that the terminals are
properly oriented.
2. Only insert batteries of the same type in the battery
compartment. Do not use batteries of dierent types or used
and new batteries together.
3. Remove the old batteries from the battery compartment
if they are empty, or if the aspirator will not be used for a
longer period.

Low battery
Before the batteries are completely empty, the power of suctioning
will be reduced and/or the music will no longer play. In that case,
change the batteries.
Changing the batteries
1. Press and slide gently to remove the battery compartment cover
on the back of the product.
2. Carefully remove the old batteries.
3. Insert two new 1.5V AA batteries into the battery compartment.
When inserting the batteries, make sure that the terminals are
properly oriented (the + and – terminals on the batteries and on
the bottom of the battery compartment must match). Do not use
rechargeable batteries!
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place.

Disposal
Disposal of packaging
For disposal, separate the packaging by the type of
material. Handle paperboard and cardboard as waste
paper, and the foil as secondary raw materials.
Disposal of waste product
(Applicable to the European Union and other European countries
with systems for separate collection of secondary raw materials.)
Waste devices may not be disposed together with household
waste!
When the aspirator is no longer functioning, the
consumer is legally required to dispose of the old
product separately from household waste, e.g. at
the collection point of their municipality/area where
they reside. This will ensure that the old devices are
professionally recycled and that negative environmental
impacts are prevented. Therefore, electrical devices are
marked with the symbol shown here.
Put the aspirator in waste electrical and electronic
equipment in accordance with EC Directive 2012/19/EU.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed
together with household waste!
As a consumer, you are required by law to dispose of
all batteries and rechargeable batteries, whether or not
they contain harmful substances*, at a collection point in
your municipality/area or at a store, in an environmentally
friendly manner.
* with the following elements: Cd = cadmium; Hg = mercury;

Use of the Product
If you want the device to play music that distracts the child
during the suctioning, press the Music ON button.
1. Instead of listening to the
dull sound of the aspirator,
our product gives you a
chance to choose from
12 world-known ballads.
2. Press the “Music ON”
button to activate the music
function. By continuing to
press this button you can
alternate between dierent
melodies.
3. When you stop using the product, press and hold the “Music ON”
button for 1 second to turn o the music.
1. Select the correct nasal nozzle considering the shape and size of
the baby's nasal cavities.
Large nasal nozzle
The large nozzle is used
when discharge is in sol-
id form.
Narrow nasal nozzle
The narrow nozzle is used
when discharge is in liquid
form.
2. Make sure that you attach the nozzle properly on the aspirator.
Before use, make sure that the
nasal nozzle covers the ribbed
part of the aspirator tip.

3. To start the suctioning of discharge,
press the “ON button”.
4. Hold the baby in an upright position
and insert the aspirator nozzle into
the nasal cavity of the baby's nose.
Make sure not to insert the nasal
nozzle too far up the nasal cavity,
and not to scratch it on the inside.
Make sure you hold the aspirator
at 90° (as shown in the gure).
Suctioning will remove mucus from
the nose. If necessary, repeat the
procedure on the other nasal cavity.
Use of the Product
The mucus will not necessarily appear in the nasal discharge
container immediately. After each use, remove the nasal nozzle
from the aspirator and clean it.
5. Release the aspirator ON button to stop the suctioning.

Care and Maintenance
For the product to remain ecient, it is very important that it is kept
clean.
1. Separate the nozzle and the aspirator head from the aspirator by
gently pulling the components apart.
2. Unscrew the nasal discharge container from the aspirator head
clockwise.
Cleaning the discharge container, the
aspirator head, and nasal nozzles:
Wash the discharge container, the aspirator
head, and nasal nozzles with mild soap
for 3 minutes. Then rinse all of these
components under hot running water for
3 minutes. After cleaning all elements,
disinfect them in boiling water.
Do NOT wash with detergents! Please wash the components
only with running water.
Cleaning the aspirator
Wipe the device with a clean, gentle, and
dry cloth.

Do NOT wash the device with water or any
other uid! Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning the
housing. After cleaning the aspirator, store it in
a clean, dry place at room temperature. Never
expose the aspirator to extreme temperatures,
humidity, direct sunlight, or shaking! Do not rinse
the aspirator under water!
Warning! Risk of short circuit!
If water enters the housing of the product, a short circuit may
occur.
1. Never immerse the aspirator in water.
2. Make sure that water does not enter the housing.
Warning! Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the aspirator may cause injuries.
1. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal
or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning items such as
knives, hard spatulas, or anything similar. They can damage
the surface of the device.
2. Never clean the aspirator with a polishing agent, gasoline,
or solvent.
