Dopo aver tolto l'imballaggio assicurarsi dell'integrità dell'apparecchio e
in caso di visibili danneggiamenti non utilizzarlo e rivolgersi a personale
professionalmente qualificato.
Non lasciare parti dell'imballo alla portata dei bambini, né utilizzarlo
come gioco: è un apparecchio elettrico e come tale va considerato.
L'uso di un qualsiasi apparecchio elettrico comporta l'osservanza di
alcune regole fondamentali, in particolare:
- Non toccare l'apparecchio con mani bagnate o umide.
- Questo apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato da persone (bambini
inclusi) con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali, mentali o senza
esperienza e consapevolezza, ma solo se sorvegliate o istruite
riguardo l’uso dell’apparecchio da una persona responsabile per la
loro sicurezza. I bambini devono essere sorvegliati per assicurarsi che
non giochino con l’apparecchio.
- Non lasciare l'apparecchio esposto ad agenti atmosferici (pioggia,sole).
- Non sottoporlo ad urti.
Nel caso vi sia un guasto o un funzionamento anomalo dell'apparecchio,
non manometterlo e rivolgersi ad un Centro Assistenza autorizzato.
Per motivi di sicurezza l'apparecchio non può essere aperto.

Si considerano responsabili in materia di sicurezza, prestazioni e
affidabilità il fabbricante, il montatore, l'installatore o l'importatore
solamente se:
-La tecnica di montaggio, la taratura, le riparazioni o modifiche
siano state effettuate da persone da loro autorizzate;
- Le istruzioni di impiego siano state rispettate;
Il produttore non si assume responsabilità per danni derivanti da
usi impropri, erronei ed irragionevoli e dovuti ad un uso improprio
degli accessori.
Il misuratore di pressione automatico ARDES, è un apparecchio molto
facile da usare e dispone di 60 memorie.
Il display a cristalli liquidi permette una lettura chiara e semplice delle
misure.

Evitare di mangiare, fumare o fare attività intensive almeno 30 minuti prima
di effettuare la misurazione. Prima della misurazione rilassarsi per circa
5/10 minuti.Durante la misurazione stare seduti e assicurarsi che il bracciale
sia alla stessa altezza del cuore e che sia posizionato correttamente. Se
preferite, adottate una posizione da sdraiati facendo attenzione che le
braccia siano ben distese e che il palmo della mano sia rivolto verso l'alto.
Mantenere sempre il bracciale all'altezza del cuore.

Durante la misurazione è consigliabile non parlare e non muoversi.
Effettuare le misurazioni sempre sullo stesso braccio poichè, cambiando
arto, potreste riscontrare delle differenze sostanziali. Prima di ripetere una
misurazione attendere 3 minuti per fare in modo che la circolazione si
ristabilizzi. La grandezza del bracciale è per persone adulte. È sconsigliato
l'uso di questo apparecchio per persone che soffrono di aritmie cardiache.
Evitare durante le misurazioni interferenze elettromagnetiche con cellulari,
rasoi elettrici, forni a micronde ecc. Per una maggiore precisione nella
misura della pressione e delle pulsazioni si consiglia di utilizzare il bracciale
direttamente a contatto con la pelle.

Inserire il tubo in gomma nell'apparecchio facendo attenzione che non vi
siano perdite d'aria.Infilare il bracciale sul braccio sinistro posizionandolo
a circa 2-3 cm sopra il gomito, tenere il palmo della mano rivolto verso
l'alto e fare in modo che il tubo in gomma sia parallelo al braccio e
posizionato sull’arteria.Assicurasi che il bracciale non sia troppo stretto
(tenere come riferimento lo spazio di un dito fra la pelle e il bracciale).
Misurazione
Premere il pulsante di accensione per attivare l’apparecchio;
Si accenderanno tutti i simboli sul display dopodichè compare l'ultima
misurazione effettuata; dopo pochi secondi si gonfierà automaticamente
il bracciale.
Il bracciale viene gonfiato alla pressione di circa 190mmHg, per poi
sgonfiarsi lentamente, effettuando la misurazione della pressione del
soggetto.
A questo punto il bracciale di sgonfia e il simbolo del cuore lampeggia sul
display, in sincronia con il battito cardiaco, qualora sia possibile rilevare
le pulsazioni.

IMPOSTAZIONE FUNZIONE VOCALE
Con l'apparecchio spento premere il tasto MODE; inizierà a lampeggiare
l'anno da regolare con i tasti + / -.
Premere il tasto MODE per selezionaresuccessivamente il giorno e poi
l'ora. Per regolare premere sempre i tasti + / -.
ATTENZIONE : data e ora devono essere impostate dopo la sostituzione
dele batterie!
Con l'apparecchio spentotenere premuto il tasto della funzione vocale.
Senza rilasciare il tasto, a rotazione scorreranno le lingue selezionabili
(L1,L2 ecc.).
Quando compare la lingua che si desidera impostare rilasciare il tasto.
Selezionando "L0" verrà esclusa la funzione vocale.
premere ancora il tasto funzione vocale per impostare successivamente
il livello del volume. Ad ogni impulso del tasto, il volume aumenterà.

L’apparecchio memorizzerà automaticamente il risultato fino a un massimo
di 60 misurazioni. Raggiunto questo limite i nuovi risultati sostituiranno
progressivamente quelli precedenti.I dati memorizzati vengono visualizzati
completi di ora e data.
Durante la misurazione rilassarsi e non muoversi.
Al termine della misurazione sul display compare la pressione sistolica
(massima), diastolica (minima) le pulsazioni e l'indicatore di livello della
pressione( ).Fig. 3.
Se avete attivato la funzione vocale l'apparecchio vi dirà i valori registrati
e il livello di classificazione nella lingua preselezionata.
Qualora l'apparecchio registrasse un valore di pulsazioni irregolare sul
display compare il simbolo seguente:

Funzione vocale

Installazione o sostituzione delle batterie
Quando sul display apparirà il simbolo delle batterie, significa che bisogna
sostituirle; quindi procedere seguendo le apposite indicazioni.
Assicurarsi che l'apparecchio sia spento.
Rimuovere il coperchio ed inserire 4 batterie alcaline tipo AA da 1,5V,
secondo i simboli delle polarità indicate.
Riposizionare il coperchio correttamente.
Se si intende non utilizzare l’apparecchio per un periodo di tempo prolungato,
rimuovere le batterie.
Ripetizione della misurazione
Disattivare l’apparecchio, poi premere semplicemente il pulsante accensione
per avviare un’altra misurazione.
Aspettare almeno tre minuti prima della misurazione successiva.
Recupero dei risultati memorizzati
Con l'apparecchio spento premere il tasto MEM per avviare la modalità
di recupero dei dati in memoria.
Ad ogni impulso del tasto MEM vengono visualizzate le misurazioni
registrate.
Con la funzione vocale l'apparecchio dirà il numero di memoria e i valori
memorizzati.
Se non fosse registrata nessuna misurazione sul display comparirà "00"
come numero di memoria e "0" come valore registrato.
Per cancellare i dati salvati tenere premuto il tasto MEM per circa 3 secondi
fino all'emissione di tre segnali acustici.
Il display apparirà prima come in fig.4 e poi come in fig.5.

Questo apparecchio non necessita di particolare manutenzione, è sufficiente
una regolare pulizia.
Per la pulizia dell'apparecchio e del bracciale utilizzare un panno morbido
leggermente umido.
Far asciugare il bracciale all'aria e non stirarlo.
Non utilizzare assolutamente prodotti abrasivi o solventi chimici.
NON IMMERGERE MAI L'APPARECCHIO IN ACQUA.

The ARDES automatic blood pressure monitor is easy to use and can
store up to 60 measurements.
Its liquid crystal display ensures a clear and simple reading of each
measurement.
Keep handy the guarantee, receipt of payment and these instructions for
future use and reference.
After removing the packaging, check the device for any signs of damage.
In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified
technician.
Keep all parts of the packaging out of the reach of children.
The device is not a toy: it is an electrical device and must be treated with
the necessary caution.
The use of any electrical device requires to respect basic rules, namely:
- Never touch the device with wet or humid hands.
- his appliance must not be used by individuals
(including children) with diminished physical, sensory or mental abilities
or who lack the experience or knowledge on how to operate it unless
they are supervised or have been instructed on the use of the appliance
by someone who is responsible for their safety. Children must be
supervised to make sure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not leave the device exposed to weathering (rain, sun).
- Do not subject it to rough handling.
In case of a breakdown or malfunctioning of the device, do not attempt
to repair it, but take it to a service centre approved by the manufacturer.
For safety reasons, the device should never be opened.

Avoid eating, smoking or performing intense activities at least 30 minutes
before taking your blood pressure.Rest for about 5/10 minutes before
taking your blood pressure.You need to be seated when taking your blood
pressure. Make sure that the arm cuff is at the same height as the heart
and properly wrapped around the arm.If desired, you can lie down,
always making sure that your arms are stretched out and the palm is
open and turned upwards.Make sure that the cuff is at the same level as
the heart.

Do not speak or move during measurement. Take your blood pressure
always on the same arm, failure to do so may account for significant
differences.The time between two measurements must be 3 minutes to
allow for circulation recovery.The cuff fits normal adult arm
size.Measurement is not possible for people who suffer cardiac
arrhythmia.Avoid electromagnetic interferences caused by mobile
phones, electric razors, microwave ovens, etc.Wrap the cuff directly on
the skin for accurate blood pressure and pulse measurements.

Insert the rubber tube into the apparatus, making sure that no air
escapes.Place the arm band over the left arm, positioning it
approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow. Keep the palm of the hand
facing upward and move the rubber tube so that it is parallel to the arm
and positioned on the artery.Make sure that the arm band is not too tight
(you should be able to slip a finger between the arm band and your
arm).
Measurement
Press the "START" button to activate the appliance. All the symbols on
the display will come on, after which the last measurement performed will
appear. After a few seconds the wristband will inflate automatically.
The wristband will be inflated to the pressure of about 190mmHg and then
slowly deflate while measuring the pressure of the subject.
At this point the wristband deflates and the heart symbol flashes on the
display, in synchrony with the heart beat, if the pulses can be detected.
Relax and do not move during the measurement.

With the appliance off, press the MODE key; the year will start flashing
and can be set using the +/- keys.
Press the MODE key again to select the day and then the time.To adjust
the settings, press the +/- keys.
CAUTION:The date and time must be set again after replacing the batteries!
With the appliance off, press the voice function key and hold it pressed.
Without releasing the key, view the available languages scrolling on the
display (L1, L2, etc.).
When the desired language appears, release the key.
Selecting "L0" will switch off the voice function.
Then press the voice function key again to set the voice volume. The
volume will increase each time the key is pressed.

The appliance automatically stores the result for up to a maximum of 60
measurements. When this limit has been reached, the new results
progressively replace the previous ones.The stored data can be displayed
complete with date and time.

At the end of the measurement, the systolic pressure (maximum), diastolic
pressure (minimum), pulse rate and pressure level indicator ( ) appear
on the display, Fig. 3.
If the voice function has been activated, the appliance will say the values
recorded and the classification level in the preselected language.
If the appliance records an irregular pulse value, the following symbol
appears on the display:

Repeating the measurement
Switch the device off, then simply press the “START" push button to start
another measurement.
Wait at least three minutes before the next measurement.
Calling up stored results
With the appliance off, press the MEM key to start the memory data call-
up mode.
Each time the MEM key is pressed, the recorded measurements are
displayed.
If the voice function has been activated, the appliance will say the memory
position number and the values stored.
If no measurement has been recorded, "00" will appear on the display as
the memory position number and "0" will appear as the recorded value.
To cancel the saved data, press the MEM key and hold it pressed for about
3 seconds until the appliance emits three beeps.
The display will appear first as shown in fig. 4 and then as shown in fig.
5.
Battery installation or replacement
When the battery symbol appears on the display, this means that the
batteries must be replaced. Proceed following the instructions below.
Make certain that the device is turned off.
Remove the cover and insert 4x1,5V AA alkaline batteries, according to
the polarity symbols. Replace the cover correctly.
If the device will not be used for an extended period of time, it is
recommended that you remove the batteries.

This device does not require special maintenance. Clean it regularly.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device and the cuff.
Air dry the cuff and do not iron it.
Do not use abrasive products or chemical solvents.
