1. Safety Precautions
User Manual
In order to avoid possible damage to you, others or property,
make sure to pay attention to the following safety precautions.
If the machine power chord is broken or unit is out of order,
you must contact Medify Air customer service to ensure safety.
WARNING
Do not touch power plug
with wet hands.
Wet hands can cause electric shock.
Never touch with wet hands.
Prohibited use beyond power.
Can only use a 220v unit with a
220v power supply. Can only
use a 110v unit with a 110v
power supply. You can break or
ruin the circuit boards if you
plug into a 220v power supply.
Do not damage power line
and socket.
Do not bind wires when you use the
unit. It may cause electric shock, short
circuit, or fire if you use broken wires.
Forbidden to cut, scratch, refit, distort,
twist or pull power lines.
Do not put any heavy products on top of
wires or sockets.
Turn off the power before
cleaning machine.
Unplug before cleaning to avoid electric
shock or unit turning on accidentally.
Please insert the plug completely
into the power socket before
starting the air purifier. If not,
may cause electric shock and
overheating, even fire accident.
Do not use damaged plug or loose socket.
Regularly clean power plug.
Do not allow dust to accumulate on
power plug. This can damage insulation
and cause a fire accident. Pull out the
power plug and clean with dry cloth (do
not use wet cloth). If machine is not
planned to be used for any extended
period of time, unplug it for safety
reasons.
Do not put bars or metal
products nearby air outlet
or openings.
If metal bars touch inside of machine
it can cause electric shock.
WARNING
Please turn off the power immediately in
case of any of the following situations:
•Malfunction of any switch
•Circuit failure
•Abnormal heating of wires or plugs
•Any burnt smell, abnormal sound or shock
•Any other malfunction
Keep machine dry.
Or else it may cause electric shock or
fire accident.
Do not use the air purifier in
the room with fumigation type
pesticides.
Chemical residue could be accumulated
inside the machine and then released,
causing harm. The room should keep
ventilated thoroughly after you use
insecticide and then start to use air
purifier.
Do not use solvents like
benzene, diluent, etc. to clean
the air purifier.
This can cause the air purifier to
break, to become damaged, or short
circuit, which can lead to electric
shock or fire accidents.
Keep machine away from
volatile substances or
flammable items. This could
cause fire.
Do not use air purifier in high
temperature or humid
conditions. These situations
may cause current damage,
electric shock or fire accident.
If you use the air purifier in a
room with an electric heater,
ensure proper ventilation.
Otherwise, there could be a buildup
of carbon monoxide, which can
cause serious harm or death.
The air purifier will NOT remove
carbon monoxide from the air.
Do not use air purifier in a
greasy area.
This machine should not be used as
ventilating or air evacuating equipment.
Be careful when removing the
plug from the power socket.
Do not pull wires which may
cause short circuit or damage
to wires, to avoid possible fire
accident or electric shock.

Disassembly and installation methods of side covers

1. Press tabs on the side
covers and pull on the
covers. Then lift each side
cover and pull out slightly.
2. To reinstall side covers, align at
fixed grooves and insert covers
into grooves. Covers will snap
back automatically.
Do not obstruct air intake or clean
air outlet.
To ensure sufficient air circulation,
make sure there is a 20 inch or 50
cm distance between air inlet and
wall or nearby furniture.
This will ensure enough
ventilation and high efficiency.

Install Filter Set
All filters must be used
together. Please disassemble
filters according to the
following instructions.
Reinstall the filters
accordingly.
1. Place the machine in a dry location
on a smooth and flat surface.
Operational Steps
Operate in accordance with
the following steps to ensure
correct filter installation.
2. Press opening tabs at side covers
and pull covers. Life the left and right
cover and pull out slightly.
3. Do not disassemble filters. Filters
sets come in one piece for
maximum efficiency.
4. Remove exterior packaging of
the filter sets.
5. Place filters back into the air
purifiers after packaging is
removed.
6. To reinstall side covers,
align at the fixed grooves
and insert the cover into the
grooves. The side covers will
snap back in automatically.

Please remove all packaging on
the filters before use.
Do not use the air purifier
without filters.

4. Filter Purification: Four Steps

Removes larger particles
including hair, fibers, dander,
and others.
HEPA H13 is a medical grade
filter. This removes 99.97% of
particles down to 0.3 microns as
well as PM2.5 particles such as,
smoke, pollen, dust mites and
others.
Absorbs odors, harmful VOCs,
and other toxic substances such
as formaldehyde.
Produces negative ions to
neutralize positively charged
particles such as dust, bacteria,
mold spores, pollen, animal
dander and other airborne
positive particles. These particles
will be absorbed by integrated
discharge device.

Plug in
After plugging in, the air
purifier will beep. Indicator
lights will flash twice. Then
indicator lights will turn off.
Turn on the air purifier
Press ON/OFF button. Unit will start in
AUTO mode, with indicator light on.
The air quality sensor will detect the
air quality automatically after 2
minutes. Unit needs tome to calibrate
and calculate air quality properly.
Press ON/OFF button again to turn off
the unit. Unit will beep, power light
will flash, then pull out plug.

Manual adjustment of fan
Press SPEED button to choose air
speed 1, 2, 3, 4. In AUTO mode,
unit will choose fan speed based
on the air quality.
Press ANION button. Unit will sound and
indicator light of Anion will be on. Press
ANION button again and the unit will go
out of Anion mode. The indicator light for
Anion will be off. When filter replacement
indicator is on, user needs to replace the
filter and press ANION button for 3
seconds to reset. Then fan speed indicator
light will stop flashing.
ANION mode
Press timer button and choose
hour options:
1, 2, 4, 8 or no timer.
In this mode, none of the function keys
can be used or changed. (Except the child
lock function). To turn on the child lock,
hold the button down for 3 to 5 seconds.
To turn off the child lock function, hold
the button down for 30 to 45 seconds.
THIS FEELS LIKE A LONG TIME, BUT IS
DONE PURPOSELY SO PEOPLE CAN NOT
UNLOCK IT UNLESS YOU WANT IT
UNLOCKED.
Please make sure to pull out power plug
before cleaning the unit. Do not
immerse machine in water or any other
liquid. Do not use abrasive, corrosive or
flammable products to clean any parts
of the unit. The unit uses composite
filters, so filters cannot be washed.

air quality sensor, air intake and
air outlet.
4. Reinstall the cover of air
quality sensor.
Clean air quality sensor every two-month
to ensure best performance. Clean often
if machine works in dusty environment.
Clean the air purifier regularly to prevent
the dust accumulation.
1. Use soft and dry clothes to remove the
dust from the air purifier.
2. Use soft and dry clothes to clean the
outlet and inlet of the air purifier.

Under AUTO mode, if room
lighting is dark, unit will enter
SLEEP mode after 3 minutes.
Indicator lights will turn off
except power light. Fan speed
and noise level will change to
lowest setting. When lighting in
the room turns on for 3 minutes,
unit will exit SLEEP mode.

Attention
The air quality sensor may accumulate
condensation. If this happens the air quality
sensor even in a good air room may show
poor air quality. Please make sure air quality
sensor is clean and dry to perform properly.

Change filter

2. Turn off the power, pull out the
power plug to reduce the risk of electric
shock. This equipment has a polarized
plug (one blade is wider than the other).
This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact qualified personnel
to install the proper outlet. Do not alter
the plug in any way.
3. Press tabs in each side cover and pull
the cover. Then lift each cover and pull
out slightly.
4. Remove all existing filters from
the unit.
5. Remove all packaging from new
filter sets. Then, install the new filters
into the unit in the same order as
existing filters.
6. Install new filter sets in the unit.
Operating Steps
1. The machine will remind user to
replace filters after 3,000 hours of use.
When indicator light is on, it is time to
change your filters with genuine Medify
replacement filters.
The unit will remind user when
filter needs to be replaced. The
fan will turn off after indicator
light flashes for 1 minute. Unit
will beep to remind user to
replace filters.
7. Reinstall side covers, as outlined
earlier. Side covers will snap back in
automatically.

8. When filter replacement is
complete, plug in unit and turn on.
Press the ANION button for 3
seconds to reset the unit.
Attention
Turn off and pull out power plug
before replacing the filters. If
replacement filter indicator light
flashes again after replacement,
press the reset button
at the side (as shown)
until indicator light
resets itself.
Helpful Hint
Remove the package of each
filter before inserting into unit.
Label of filter must face upward.

Long-time idling Filter replacement suggestions
Safety tip
Do not leave unit plugged in for
an extended period of time
when not in use.
Place machine in a dry and well-
ventilated place when not in
use for extended period of
time.
Suggested frequency of replacing
the filter set. In general, the life
span of a HEPA filter is 6 months.
Can use a brush or dust collector
to remove surface level dust
from the filters, but do not press
hard on the filter material. The
unit uses composite filters.
These filters CANNOT be
washed.
Please turn off unit and pull out
power plug before replacing the
filters.

Medify guarantees your Medify Air Purifier to be free of defects in
material or workmanship for a lifetime period, provided you have
completed and returned your warranty registration to Medify Air
within the first 30 days of purchase, and that the filters are replaced
with original and genuine Medify Air replacement filters at least once
every six (6) months or after 3,000 hours of use. Within the first 30
days, Medify Air will replace the defective unit at no charge to you
and reimburse you for any shipping charges. After 30 days, Medify
Air’s obligation and liability under this Lifetime Warranty is dependent
on your use of our genuine filters, purchased on our website or from
our authorized resellers, which can be found on our website.
Our Lifetime Warranty remains in effect as long as:
1. You submit your warranty registration to Medify Air within 30
days of purchase.
2. You change filters with genuine and original Medify Air
replacement filters at least once every six (6) months or after
3,000 hours of use (whichever comes first).
3. You use a proper power supply based on voltage: 110-120 V
(North America & Japan) or 220-240 V (all other regions).
4. There is no evidence of tampering, mishandling, neglect,
accidental damage, modification, and/or repair done to the
Medify Air Purifier by anyone other than authorized Medify Air
service personnel.
5. Your air purifier is operated in accordance with the provided
instructions.
