Operating safety

Risk of injury!
Risk of injury to persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities (for example, partially
disabled people or older people with limited physical or mental abilities) or to those without experience
and knowledge (such as older children).
This device can be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or by those without experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised or have been
instructed in the safe use of the device and have understood the dangers that result from it.
Children must not be allowed to play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children.
Children younger than 8 should be kept away from the device and the connection cable.
Keep all packaging materials used (bags, pieces of polystyrene etc.) out of reach of children.
Do not allow children to play with the packaging material.
There is no right of recourse for lost data or for consequential damage caused by data loss.
This product has been designed for use with a PC.
Follow the safety instructions for the computer to which you connect the device.
Installation location
Set up and operate the device on a stable, level and vibration-free surface.
Keep the device away from moisture, water droplets and spray, and avoid dust, heat and direct sunlight.

Getting started
Switch on the computer and all connected peripheral devices (monitor, printer etc.) and wait until the operating system is
fully started.
Connect the keyboard to a free USB port on your computer.
The keyboard drivers are installed automatically.
On the reverse side of the keyboard there are two fold-out feet, which you can use to alter the slope of the keyboard.

Special functions and special keys on the keyboard
Keys Function description
Fn + Switch key illumination on/off
Fn + Select quick colour change
Fn + Select slow colour change
Fn + Brighter (key illumination)
Fn + Darker (key illumination)
Backlighting
This keyboard has options that allow you to select different colours and brightness levels of backlighting.
Press the Fn + M1 keys to permanently switch on the keyboard backlighting.
Press the Fn + M2 keys repeatedly to select the keyboard backlighting flow direction.
Press the Fn + M3 keys repeatedly to select the colour of keyboard backlighting.
Press the Fn + M4 keys repeatedly to select the keyboard backlighting movement pattern.
How to program 5-zone keyboard backlighting
Press the Fn + G1 keys to modify the 5-zone keyboard backlighting.
Press Fn + G1 again until the LEDs for N, C and S above the number pad start flashing.
Hold down the Fn key and keep pressing keys 1-5 on the main part of the keyboard to set the colour for each zone.
Press the Fn + G1 keys again to finish programming the zones.
How to lock the Windows key
Press the Fn + keys to lock the Windows key.
Press Fn + again to unlock the Windows key.

Cleaning
Make sure that the device is kept clean. Before cleaning the device, disconnect all cable connections to the PC. Clean the
device and all other components with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or corrosive or gaseous cleaning agents.
Disposal
PACKAGING
Your device has been packaged to protect it from damage in transit. The packaging is made of materials that can be recycled
in an environmentally friendly manner.
DEVICE
Old devices that carry the symbol illustrated may not be disposed of in ordinary household waste.
In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU, these devices must be disposed of correctly at the end of their service life.
This involves separating the materials in the devices for the purpose of recycling and minimising the environmental impact.
Take old devices to a collection point for electrical scrap or a recycling centre. Before doing so, remove the batteries from the
device and take them to a separate collection point for used batteries.
Contact your local waste disposal company or your local authority for more information on this subject.
