REPAIRS SHOULD BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSON ONLY
!Do not use this appliance indoors, as it may cause personal injury or property damage.
!This outdoor heater is not intended to be installed on recreational vehicles and/or boats.
!Appliance should be located on a solid surface.
!A qualified person should carry out maintenance and repair.
!Improper installation, adjustment, alteration can cause personal injury or property damage.
!Do not attempt to alter the unit in any manner.
!Never replace or substitute the regulator with any regulator other than the factory-suggested
replacement.
!Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids in the heater unit.
!The whole gas system, hose, regulator, pilot or burner should be inspected for leaks or damage
before use, and at least annually by a qualified service person.
!All leak tests should be done with a soap solution. Never use an open flame to check for leaks.
!Do not use the heater until all connections have been leak tested.
!If smell of gas is detected, turn off the gas valve immediately.
!Do not transport heater while it is operating.
!Do not move the heater after it has been turned off until the temperature has cooled down..
!Control compartment, burner and circulation air passageways of the heater must be kept clean.
!Frequent cleaning may be required as necessary.
!The LP tank should be turned off when the heater is not in use.
!Check the heater immediately if any of the following occurs:
-The heater does not reach temperature.
-The burner makes popping noise during use (a slight noise is normal when the burner is
extinguished).
-Smell of gas in conjunction with extreme yellow tipping of the burner flames.
!The LP Gas regulator/hose assembly must be located in the tank cabinet where LPG cylinder
located
!Any guard or other protective device removed for servicing the heater must be replaced before
operating the heater.
!Adults and children should stay away from high temperature surface to avoid burns or clothing
ignition.
!Children should be carefully supervised when they are in the area of the heater.
!Clothing or other flammable materials should not be hung on the heater or placed on or near the
heater.

Assembly Procedures
Take out the heater body and all of the parts from carton, then follow below procedures.
Step 1
Fix each wheel with 4xM6 screws .
Step 2
Then fix right table piece and left
Table piece with 12xM6 screws.
Step 3

HEATER STAND AND LOCATION
!The heater is for outdoor use only. Always ensure that adequate fresh air ventilation is provided.
Always maintain proper clearance to combustible materials.
!Heater must be placed on level firm ground.
!Never operate heater in an explosive atmosphere like in areas where
gasoline or other flammable liquids or vapors are stored.
!Keep a distance of at least 2 meters from Combustible Materials.
!After every use, turn off the gas valve on the cylinder.
!The heater should be protected from strong winds by activating the brake on the wheel.
GAS REQUIREMENTS
!Use LP Gas only.
!Only a 2,8kPa pressure regulator and hose assembly are to be used and must conform to local
standard SANS 1237.
!The installation must conform to local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the standard for
the storage and handling of liquid petroleum gases.
!A dented, rusted or damaged LP Gas cylinder may be hazardous and should be checked by your
cylinder supplier. Never use a LP Gas cylinder with a damaged valve connection.
!The LP Gas cylinder must be arranged to provide for vapor withdrawal from the operating cylinder.
!Never connect an unregulated LP Gas cylinder to the heater.
LEAKAGE TEST
Gas connections on the heater are leak tested at the factory prior to shipment. A complete gas tightness
check must be performed at the installation site due to possible mishandling in shipment or excessive
pressure being applied to the heater.
!Make a soap solution of one part liquid detergent and one part water. The soap solution can be
applied with a spray bottle, brush or rag. Soap bubbles will appear in case of a leak.
!The heater must be checked with a full cylinder.
!Make sure the safety control valve is in the OFF position.
!Turn the gas supply ON.
!In case of a leak, turn off the gas supply. Tighten any leaking fittings, then turn the gas supply on
and recheck.
!Never do leak test while smoking.
ADJUSTMENT TO BURNER OR REGULATOR
This appliance has been pre-set at the factory and NO adjustment may be made to the
burner or regulator.

BURN-BACK (FIRE IN BURNER TUBE OR CHAMBER)
In the event of a burn-back, where the flame burns back to the jet, immediately turn off the
gas supply at the control valve on the panel.
After ensuring the flame is extinguished, wait for I minute and re-light the appliance in the
normal manner. Should the appliance again burn back, close the control valve and call a
service technician. Do not use the appliance again until the service technician has declared
that it is safe to do so.
LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open the cabinet door, put the gas cylinder into the cabinet
Turn the control knob clockwise to “OFF” position.
2. Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder and gas control valve. Turn the gas supply “ON” at the
cylinder. Check with the use of soapy water for any gas leakage between the cylinder and the
regulator
3. Push down the control knob and keep pressing whilst turning anti-clockwise to the
“Ignition” position (a click will be heard), this will light the pilot. If not repeat this process.
4. When the pilot burner is lit, keep the control knob pressed for 5 seconds then release it.
5. If the burner does not stay alight, repeat steps 3 and 4. If the burner has not lit wait 5 minutes and
repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. Adjust the heat setting by turning the control knob to the high or low position.
7. To turn the heater ‘OFF’ turn the cylinder valve or regulator switch to the ‘OFF’ position and then
turn the control knob on the appliance clockwise to the ‘OFF’ position.
WARNING:
If the burner fails to ignite, turn the control knob off (clockwise) and also turn the cylinder valve off. Wait
five minutes before attempting to relight with ignition sequence.
CLEANING AND CARE
Cleaning
1. Do not try and perform any maintenance on the patio heater while it is in use or is hot.
2.Use a soft damp cloth and a non-combustible cleaner to clean the patio heater.
3.Burners can become dirty due to dust, debris, insects, spider webs and other foreign
objects. It is best to clean the burner and venture using compressed air and a pipe cleaner.
Do not use any liquid cleaning agents or water to clean these areas. See points below to
check for signs of gas and burner obstructions.
4.If the jet becomes blocked it is best to use an appropriate jet cleaning tool. The jet is not
designed to be removed.

5.Do not allow the internal gas components to become wet, dry them immediately before
storing away to avoid any damage to these components.
6.Clean the controls and burner with a soft brush and compressed air. Make sure the patio
heaters airflow is not obstructed in any way.
7. Open the top back door to clean debris on glass carefully using a soft cloth.
Signs of Gas Obstructions
1. If the flame burns with a yellow tip and there is a gas odour.
2.The patio heater dies not reach the desired temperature.
3.There is an uneven burn on the surface of the burner
4.The patio heater is making a popping noise
5.The flame flashes back into the burner tube and make a loud roaring noise.
Repairing and Service
Examine all fixtures and tighten where needed, check for gas leaks using a solution of soapy
water and spray on appropriate joints. Should you wish to service the patio heater take it to a
qualified person or company.
STORAGE
1. Always close the gas valve of the gas cylinder after use or in case of a disturbance.
2. Remove the pressure regulator and the hose.
3. Check the tightness of the gas valve and for damage. If you suspect a damage, have it changed by your
gas dealer.
4. Never store LP Gas cylinder in a sub-terrain, or at places without adequate air ventilation.
