PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Available in classic stainless steel finish these heaters are
built to last, and provide you and your guests with warmth
and comfort within a 5-metre circle.
For an uncovered patio, model F40 permanent is often the
best choice of patio heaters.
All of our heaters come with a 12-month domestic or 90-day commercial limited
warranty, and are fully serviceable with readily available parts if required.
Delivery is available throughout Australia and overseas.
The F40 Permanent Installation heater features:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING UNIT
This Ozglow heater is to be installed to the
requirements of all local gas authorities. For all
other installation requirements refer to code AG
601 - gas installations.
The OZGLOW F40 patio heater is for use with
natural gas or propane gas. Gas pressure details
are on the appliance data plate fitted above the
gas valve. Gas type must be specified at time of
order.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
oThis OZGLOW heater should be checked at least once each year by a qualified
service person.
o This OGLOW heater is to be placed on level, stable surfaces.
oThis OZGLOW heater should be inspected before each use. Particular attention
should be given to the hose assembly to make sure there is no signs of damage or
wear and tear.
oIf the flame becomes excessively long and yellow or if soot builds up on the emitter
mesh turn the heater off and call a qualified service person.
o Keep this OZGLOW heater free of cobwebs and as dust free as possible.

oIf this OZGLOW heater will not light or cannot be adjusted to operate correctly,
contact your local authorised dealer or your local gas authority.

UNIT CLEARANCE
The OZGLOW heater must have the following clearances from combustible materials: 300mm
above, 600mm at the sides and 1200mm below.
This appliance shall only be used in an above ground open-air situation with natural ventilation,
without stagnant areas, where gas leakage and products of combustion are rapidly dispersed by
wind and natural convection.
Any enclosure in which the appliance is used shall comply with one of the following:
An enclosure with walls on all sides, but at least
one permanent opening at ground level and no
overhead cover.
Within a partial enclosure that includes an overhead cover and no more than two walls.
Within a partial enclosure that includes an overhead cover and more than two walls, the
following shall apply:
•At least 25% of the total wall area is completely open, and
•At least 30% of the remaining wall area is open and unrestricted.
In the case of balconies, at least 20% of the total wall area shall be and remain open and
unrestricted.

UNIT CLEARANCE –PATIO RESTAURANT

Illustrates a patio restaurant completely
exposed on three sides. For optimum
heating results eight heaters are used,
located as shown. No air heating
efficiency is counted on in this
installation.
Illustrates the same patio with a 2.5m
high protective wall enclosing the patio.
Only six heaters are required, for
warmed air will remain within the
enclosure and compound the direct-
radiant warming effect.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
When this OZGLOW heater has been assembled follow the lighting instructions
on the data plate and test the heater operation. On the first light up or when the
bottle has been changed it may take several minutes to purge the air from the
pilot line.
Some smoke may appear around the emitter screen and reflector for the first
minute or two of the initial light up.
1. Depress the control knob and rotate anti
clockwise to the pilot position.
2. View the pilot through the pilot hole near the
burner.
3. Hold the knob in the pilot position until the
pilot has been alight for 15 seconds. If the
pilot does not light repeat steps 1 –3.
Rotate the knob anti clockwise from the pilot
position to either the high or low positions.
Rotate the knob clockwise to the pilot
position. If you rotate the knob fully
clockwise the pilot will also turn off.

HEATER ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Screw the pipe and regulator
assembly into the heater head. Point the
adjustment screw on the regulator to the
front of the heater.
Only Natural gas models are supplied
with a regulator for LPG models the pipe
screws straight into the bottom of the
heater head.
2. Fit the pole over the pipe assembly
and using the screws supplied fix the
pole to the heater head.
Make sure the regulator adjustment lines
up with the hole in the pole.
3. Concrete the pole into the ground to
a depth of 450mm.

6. Fit the reflector to the heater
head.
7. Test fire the heater and test the
gas pressure at the test point on the
gas valve.
Check for gas leaks.
Points to remember:
•Check all joins for gas leaks.
•Test fire the heater and check the gas pressure.
•All pressure details are on the data plate.
•If the heater cannot be adjusted properly contact Parasol Heaters Australia.

WARRANTY
o All OZGLOW heaters are serial numbered.
oDomestic use: The Parasol OZGLOW heater is covered by a 12-month
warranty for domestic use.
oCommercial use: The Parasol OZGLOW heater is covered by a 90-day
warranty for commercial use.
oWarranty is limited to the heater head being returned to our factory for repair
or replacement parts.
oParasol Heaters Australia Pty Ltd will not be liable for any other expenses to
the customer, except as stated above.
