About the product
PADDY ALERT Keyring is an accessory device operating with the PADDY Smart Pad
phone APP: it works as a reminder in case the driver leaves both the mobile phone
and the child in the vehicle. In such case the device will activate a sound and visual
alarm. If the baby is not removed from the seat within 30 seconds, and the alert
silenced, the mobile APP will send a message including the GPS co-ordinates of
the place where the alarm was generated to the predened associated users.The
keyring device must be paired with the APP and can handle up to four seat pads
simultaneously.

How to use PADDY ALERT
When connected to the APP, PADDY ALERT will work as a secondary alarm.
If connected directly with the PADDY Smart Pad it will function as primary alarm.

USING THE DEVICE WITH THE APP
PADDY ALERT needs to be activated only
the rst time by pressing down the switch
for 1 second.The actual connection will
be conrmed by a red LED ashing once.
However, if the battery is charged 20% or
less, the red LED will ash continuously,
along with an alarm tone, warning that the battery needs to be replaced.To pair
the device with the APP, press the icon on the screen and then the connect bar, as
shown below.
The device will automatically pair with the App and when the device is paired, the
photo of the device will switch from black and white to full color.

Once paired, press the BACK bar to return to the main APP screen. A new battery
charge level indicator will appear above the PADDY logo as shown below.This
conrms that the Alert device is now operational.
The device is now paired and shall connect to the APP automatically. It will set o
an alarm only in case the user has left the mobile phone and an unattended child
in the vehicle.

In case the driver steps away from the vehicle and the mobile phone has been
left in the car, along with an unattended child in the car seat, after a distance of
approximately 10-15 meters the device will switch to the“alarm mode”, activating a
sound alarm and the LED shall ash continuously.
The device shall remain in such mode until the alarm is deactivated and the child
removed from the seat. If the alarm is not deactivated by pressing the button on the
device or by removing the child from the car seat within 30 seconds, the APP will
send a message to all the predened associated users such as:
“(NAME OFTHE CHILD) HAS BEEN ABANDONED AT GPS 22.3213N 113.9433E)”.
The associated users can access the map on the phone and view the exact location
where the child was left unattended. Then they can contact the other users and
proceed to rescue the unattended child.
If the driver presses the PADDY ALERT button for at least one second, the LED will
ash from 1 to 4 times and will also show the battery charge. If it only ashes once,
then the battery needs to be replaced.

USING THE DEVICE WITHOUT THE APP
PADDY ALERT can be used with PADDY Smart Pad as an alarm that shall go o when
the user moves away from the vehicle and the child has been left unattended in
the car seat.The alarm will be both audio and visual and shall remain active until
the child is removed from the PADDY Smart Pad. The device must be paired with
the PADDY Smart Pad. Press the button for 1 second to turn on the device: a beep
will conrm the device is ON. Press the button again for 6 seconds to turn on the
pairing mode (only the rst time). Press the center of the PADDY Smart Pad until a
beep sound is heard: the device is now connected to the Smart Pad. The LED ashes
every 8/10 seconds if the battery of the Smart Pad is charged; otherwise the LED will
ash continuously.
• If the connection with one or more Pads is lost, the device will go into the alarm
mode.
• To stop the alarm mode, press the button for 1 second.
• To cancel the present operating connection press down the button for 6 seconds
with the power ON.
• To erase all paired PADDY Smart Pad connections, hold down the button for 15
seconds: a conrmation beep will be heard.
• If PADDY ALERT is connected the rst time with the APP it will act as a secondary
alarm, otherwise it will function as primary alarm.

WARRANTY
PADDY ALERT enjoys a Limited LifeWarranty against any defects of non-compliance
under normal operating conditions of use. Please refer to the Warranty notice
enclosed to this Owner’s Manual. Note: the battery is not included in the warranty as
it is a consumable item and must be replaced as needed.

Concernant le produit
Le porte-clés PADDY ALERT est un appareil accessoire fonctionnant avec
l’APPLICATION Coussinet Intelligent PADDY: il fonctionne comme un rappel au cas où
le conducteur laisse à la fois le téléphone cellulaire et l’enfant dans le véhicule. Dans
ce cas, l’appareil déclenchera une alarme sonore et visuelle. Si le bébé n’est pas retiré
du siège dans les 30 secondes et que l’alerte a été réduite au silence, l’application
mobile (enverra un message inclusif des coordonnées GPS de l’endroit où l’alarme a
été déclenchée aux utilisateurs associés prédénis. Le porte-clés doit être associé à
l’APP et peut gérer simultanément jusqu’à quatre coussinets de siège.

Utilisation de PADDY ALERT
Lorsque connecté à l’APPLICATION, PADDY ALERT fonctionnera comme une alarme
secondaire. Si connecté directement au Coussinet Intelligent PADDY, fonctionnera
comme alarme principale.

UTILISATION AVEC L’APPLICATION
PADDY ALERT ne doit être activé que la
première fois en appuyant sur l’interrupteur
pendant 1 seconde. La connexion réelle
sera conrmée par une lumière DEL rouge
clignotant une fois. Cependant, si la batterie
est chargée à 20% ou moins, la lumière DEL
rouge clignotera en continu, avec une tonalité d’alarme, avertissant que la batterie
doit être remplacée. Pour coupler l’appareil avec l’APPLICATION, appuyez sur l’icône
sur l’écran, puis sur la barre de connexion, comme illustré ci-dessous.
L’appareil s’associe automatiquement à l’APPLICATION et lorsque l’appareil est
couplé, la photo de l’appareil passe du noir et blanc à la couleur.

Une fois couplé, appuyez sur la barre RETOUR pour revenir à l’écran principal de
l’APPLICATION. Un nouvel indicateur de niveau de charge de la batterie apparaîtra
au-dessus du logo PADDY, comme illustré ci-dessous. Cela conrme que le dispositif
d’alerte est désormais opérationnel.
L’appareil est maintenant couplé et doit se connecter automatiquement à
l’APPLICATION. Il déclenchera une alarme uniquement si l’utilisateur a laissé le
téléphone portable et l’enfant sans surveillance dans le véhicule.

Au cas où le conducteur s’éloigne du véhicule et que le téléphone portable a été
laissé dans la voiture avec un enfant sans surveillance dans le siège d’auto, après une
distance d’environ 10-15 mètres, l’appareil passe en“mode alarme”, activant une
alarme sonore et la lumière DEL clignotera en continu.
L’appareil restera dans ce mode jusqu’à ce que l’alarme soit désactivée et que l’enfant
soit retiré du siège. Si l’alarme n’est pas désactivée en appuyant sur le bouton de
l’appareil ou en retirant l’enfant du siège auto dans les 30 secondes, l’application
enverra à tous les utilisateurs associés prédénis un message tels que:
“(NOM DE L’ENFANT) A ÉTÉ ABANDONNÉ AU GPS 22.3213N 113.9433E) ”.
Les utilisateurs associés peuvent accéder à la carte sur le téléphone et voir
l’emplacement exact où l’enfant a été laissé sans surveillance. Ensuite, ils peuvent
contacter les autres utilisateurs et procéder au sauvetage de l’enfant.
Si le conducteur appuie sur le bouton PADDY ALERT pendant au moins une seconde,
la lumière DEL clignote de 1 à 4 fois et ache également la charge de la batterie. S’il
ne clignote qu’une seule fois, la batterie doit être remplacée.

UTILISATION SANS L’APPLICATION
PADDY ALERT peut être utilisé avec le Coussinet Intelligent PADDY comme alarme qui
doit se déclencher lorsque l’utilisateur s’éloigne du véhicule et que l’enfant est laissé
sans surveillance dans le siège auto. L’alarme sera à la fois audio et visuelle et restera
active jusqu’à ce que l’enfant soit retiré du Coussinet Intelligent PADDY. L’appareil doit
être couplé avec le Coussinet Intelligent PADDY. Appuyez sur le bouton pendant 1
seconde pour démarrer le dispositif: un bip conrmera que l’appareil est en fonction.
Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton pendant 6 secondes pour activer le mode de
couplage (uniquement la première fois). Appuyez au centre du Coussinet Intelligent
PADDY jusqu’à ce qu’un bip soit entendu: l’appareil est maintenant connecté au
Coussinet Intelligent. La lumière DEL clignote toutes les 8/10 secondes si la batterie
du Smart Pad est chargée; sinon la lumière DEL clignotera en continu.
• Si la connexion avec un ou plusieurs coussinets est perdue, l’appareil passe en
mode alarme.
• Pour arrêter le mode alarme, appuyez sur le bouton pendant 1 seconde.
• Pour annuler la présente connexion en fonction, appuyez sur le bouton pendant 6
secondes avec le dispositif allumé.
• Pour eacer toutes les connexions Coussinet Intelligent PADDY appairées,
maintenez le bouton enfoncé pendant 15 secondes: un bip de conrmation retentit.
• Si PADDY ALERT est connecté la première fois avec l’APPLICATION, il agira comme
alarme secondaire, sinon il fonctionnera comme alarme principale.

PADDY ALERT bénécie d’une garantie à vie limitée contre tout défaut de non-
conformité dans des conditions normales d’utilisation.Veuillez consulter l’avis de
garantie joint à ce Manuel d’Utilisation. (Remarque: la batterie n’est pas incluse dans
la garantie car il s’agit d’un article consommable et doit être remplacée si nécessaire).

El llavero PADDY ALERT es un accesorio que funciona con la aplicación PADDY Smart
Pad para teléfonos inteligentes: funciona como un recordatorio en caso de que el
conductor deje el teléfono móvil y al niño en el vehículo. En este caso, el dispositivo
activará una alarma audible y visual. Si el niño no se retira del asiento dentro de los
30 segundos y la advertencia se silencia, la aplicación móvil enviará un mensaje que
contiene las coordenadas GPS del lugar donde se generó la alarma para los usuarios
asociados predenidos. El dispositivo de llavero debe estar asociado con la aplicación
y puede administrar simultáneamente hasta cuatro cojines.

USO DEL DISPOSITIVO CON LA APLICACIÓN
PADDY ALERT debe activarse solo la primera
vez presionando el interruptor durante
1 segundo. La conexión exitosa será
conrmada por un LED rojo que parpadeará
una vez. Sin embargo, si la carga de la batería
es del 20% o menos, el LED rojo parpadeará
continuamente, junto con un tono de alarma, advirtiendo que la batería necesita
ser reemplazada. Para asociar el dispositivo con la aplicación, presione el icono en
la pantalla del teléfono inteligente y luego la barra de conexión, como se muestra
a continuación.
El dispositivo se conectará automáticamente con la APLICACIÓN y cuando el dispositivo
esté conectado, la foto del dispositivo cambiará de blanco y negro a todo color.

Una vez conectado, presione la barra ATRÁS para volver a la pantalla principal de la
APLICACIÓN. Aparecerá un nuevo indicador de nivel de batería sobre el logotipo de
PADDY como se muestra a continuación. Esto conrma que el dispositivo de alerta
ahora está operativo.
El dispositivo ahora está asociado y se conectará automáticamente a la aplicación.
Una alarma solo se activará sólo si el usuario ha dejado el teléfono móvil y un niño
desatendido en el vehículo.
