PRESENTATION
Jointair115 is a manually operated splicer for the joining of short and long staple synthetic
and wool yarns, single and plied, within the range of Nm 3 to 120 (Ne 6 to 140).
Fitted on Air Track Supply System or in fixed position, Jointair 115 can have wide
application on a variety of textile machines.

Il Jointair 115 è uno splicer ad azionamento manuale per la giunzione di filati di lana e
sintetici a fibra corta e lunga, in singolo e ritorti a più capi, da Nm 3 a 120 (Ne 6 a 140).
Montato sul sistemaAir Track Supply o in posizione fissa, il Jointair 115 trova appli-
cazione su un ampio numero di macchine tessili.
PRESENTATION
Le Jointair 115 est un épisseur manuel conçu pour la rattache de fils de laine et fibres
synthétiques longues et courtes, simples et retors, de Nm 3 à 120 (Ne 6 à 140).
En combinaison avec le systèmeAir Track Supply ou en position fixe, le Jointair 115
peut avoir une large application sur de nombreuses machines textiles.

Jointair115 ist ein handbetriebener Spleißer zumVerbindenvonkurz- und langstapeligen
synthetischen und Wollgarnen, einfach und gezwirnt, im Bereich von Nm 3 bis 120 (Ne
6 bis 140).
AufdemAirTrack Supply System montiert oder aneniner Maschine fixiert, kann Jointair
115 an einer Vielzahl von Textilmaschinen montiert werden.

MINGLINGCHAMBER (NN7)
This is the part of Jointair in which the fibres are mingled together
by a controlled jet of compressed air.
Various mingling chambers, all of which are identifiable by an
engravedcode,are available forapplication relative toyarn counts,
twist and characteristics. Selection of the appropriate chamber
should be the responsibility of a trained technician. A current list
of chambers with indication of application is printed front page.
CHAMBERCOVER(NN8)
This is the part that closes onto the mingling chamber.
GUIDE(NN9)
This is the part which houses the chamber cover.
NOTE:when changing mingling chamber pt. NN7, ensure to fit it
with the suitable chamber cover and guide pt. NN8 and pt. NN9
(both are identifiable by an engraved code), according to the table
printed front page.
OSCILLATORS (NN5 & NN6)
This is the part that opens and prepares the yarn end before
mingling.
- Yarns with left final twist (S) should be opened with oscillators
Type S, pt. 165-166.
- Yarns with right final twist (Z) should be opened with oscillators
Type Z, pt. 175-176.
Note: front oscillators, pt. 176 and 166 and rear oscillators pt. 175
and 165 are not interchangeable.
CHAMBREDEMELANGE(NN7)
C’est la partie du Jointair dans laquelle les fibres sont
mélangées ensembles par un jet d’air contrôlé.
Differents types de chambre de mélange sont disponibles,
tous identifiables par un code gravé, selon le titre, la torsion
et la qualité du fil. Le choix de la chambre correcte doit être
laissé à l’appréciation d’un technicien entraîné. Une liste
des chambres actuellement disponibles selon le type
d’application est à la page suivante.
COUVERCLEDECHAMBRE(NN8)
C’est la pièce qui se ferme sur la chambre de mélange.
GUIDE(NN9)
C’est la pièce qui contient le couvercle de chambre.
NOTE:Lorsqu’on change la chambre de mélange No. NN7,
s’assurer qu’elle soit montée avec le couvercle No. NN8 et
le guide No. NN9 correspondants, suivant le tableau à la
page suivante.
OSCILLATEURS(NN5etNN6)
Ce sont les pièces qui ouvrent et préparent les extrémitées
du fil avant le mélange.
- Les fils avec une torsion finale gauche (S) doivent être
ouverts avec les oscillateurs type S (pièces No. 165 et 166).
- Les fils avec une torsion finale droite (Z) doivent être
ouverts avec les oscillateurs type Z (pièces No. 175 et 176).
Note: les oscillateurs avant (pièces No.176 et 166) et les
oscillateurs arrière (pièces No. 175 et 165) ne sont pas
interchangeables.
CAMERADI MESCOLAZIONE(NN7)
E’ la parte del Jointair nella quale avviene la mescolazione delle
fibre attraverso un soffio d’aria controllato.
Differenti tipi di camere, tutte identificabili attraverso un codice
inciso, sono disponibili in relazione titolo, la torsione e le caratte-
ristiche del filato. La scelta della camera deve essere sempre
demandata ad un tecnico esperto. Un elenco delle camere attual-
mente disponibili è esposto nella pagina a fianco.
CAPPELLO(NN8)
E’ la parte in gomma che chiude lo spacco della camera.
GUIDA(NN9)
E’ la parte che contorna il cappello.
ATTENZIONE:cambiando la camera di mescolazione fig. NN7,
assicurarsi sempre che essa sia montata con il cappello fig. NN8 e
la guida fig. NN9 appropriati, come indicato dalla tabella nella
pagina a fianco.
OSCILLATORI (NN5 e NN6)
E’ la parte dove avviene la preparazione delle code prima della
giunzione.
Con filati con torsione finale destra (Z) si dovranno utilizzare
oscillatori tipo Z (fig.175 e 176), mentre con filati con torsione
finale sinistra (S) oscillatori tipo S (fig.165 e 166).
Attenzione: gli oscillatori anteriori (175 e 166) e posteriori (175
e 165) non sono intercambiabili.

MISCHKAMMER(NN7)
In diesem Teil des Jointairs werden die Fasern durch einen
gesteuerten Luftdruck miteinander verwirbelt.
Es gibt verschiedene Typen von Mischkammern, die durch einen
eingeritztenCode identifiziertwerdenkönnen. Welchedavonjeweils
am besten geeignet ist, hängt von Garnfeinheit, – Drehung und
Garneigenschaften ab. Die Auswahl der passenden Mischkammer
obliegteinemTechniker.Auf derfolgenden Seite befindetsich eine
Liste der derzeit verfügbaren Mischkammern.
KAMMERABDECKUNG(NN8)
Sie ist das Gummiteil zum Verschließen der Mischkammer.
FÜHRUNG(NN9)
Sie dient zur Aufnahme der Mischkammerabdeckung.
ZURBEACHTUNG:beim Ersetzender Mischkammer Teil NN7,
muß man immer darauf achten, daß die geeigneteAbdeckung Teil
NN8 und Führung Teil NN9 montiert wird, gemäß der Tabelle auf
derfolgendenSeite.
OSZILLATOREN (NN5 und NN6)
Siedienen zurVorbereitungder Garnendenvor dem Spleißvorgang.
Für Garne mit rechter Enddrehung (Z) müssen Oszillatoren der
Ausführung Z (Teile Nr. 175 und 176) verwendet werden. Für
Garne mit linker Enddrehung (S) müssen Oszillatoren der
Ausführung S (Teile Nr. 165 und 166) verwendet werden.
Hinweis:dievorderen Oszillatoren (Teile Nr. 176 und166) und die
hinteren Oszillatoren (Teile Nr. 175 und 165) sind nicht
austauschbar.
