ADVERTENCIA

ADVERTENCIA
Debe prestar especial atención al utilizar el multímetro ya que un uso inadecuado puede causar
shock eléctrico y dañar el aparato. Debe seguir las precauciones habituales y las instrucciones
de seguridad especicadas para su uso. Para asegurar un uso completo de sus funciones por
favor cumpla cuidadosamente con los procedimientos indicados en este manual.
Este multímetro es un instrumento portátil, seguro y able, de 3.5” dígitos, escala automática,
con rendimiento estable y una estructura innovadora. Puede ser utilizado para comprobar
tensión AC/DC, resistencia, frecuencia, ciclo de trabajo, continuidad y para detección de
tensión sin contacto. Es una herramienta de mantenimiento ideal para un gran número de
usuarios por su fácil utilización.
Indicaciones de seguridad
Este multímetro digital se ha diseñado de acuerdo a las normativas en seguridad eléctrica
EN61010-1, EN61010-2030, EN 61010-2-033 referentes a la seguridad en instrumentos de
medición eléctrica y multímetros digitales de mano. Cumple con los requerimientos de CAT
III 600V de EN 61610-2-033 y grado de contaminación 2.
• Los usuarios deben utilizar el multímetro siguiendo estrictamente las indicaciones de este
manual. De lo contrario, la garantía del multímetro podría anularse.
• Las advertencias del manual de usuario se utilizan para recordar a los usuarios
condiciones o acciones a realizar durante la medición y los posibles peligros.
Hábitos de trabajo seguro
Para evitar un posible shock eléctrico o daños personales así como daños al multímetro o los
objetos medidos, por favor utilice el multímetro de acuerdo a los siguientes procedimientos:
• Compruebe la carcasa antes de utilizar el multímetro. No lo utilice si la carcasa está
dañada. Compruebe si la carcasa está agrietada o falta alguna pieza de plástico. Por
favor, preste especial atención a las juntas de aislamiento de los terminales.
• Compruebe si los cables de prueba tienen el aislamiento dañado o pelado. Compruebe
la continuidad de los cables. Si alguno de los cables está dañado, por favor, reemplácelo
antes de utilizar el multímetro.
• Mida una tensión conocida con el multímetro para vericar que funciona correctamente.
Si el multímetro no funciona con normalidad, deje inmediatamente de usarlo. Algún
mecanismo de protección puede estar dañado. Ante cualquier duda, por favor lleve el
instrumento a un técnico especialista.
• No realice mediciones de tensión que excedan la escala indicada en el multímetro.
• Al medir tensiones que excedan los 30V AC RMS, picos de 42V AC o 60 V DC, sea
especialmente cuidadoso para evitar un shock eléctrico.
• Al realizar la medición, utilice el terminal correcto, y seleccione la función y escala de
medición adecuadas.
• No utilice el multímetro en entornos con gas explosivo, vapor o polvo.
• Cuando utilice las puntas, los dedos deben de estar detrás de las barreras de protección
de las mismas.
• Antes de medir la resistencia o continuidad, primero desconecte la alimentación y
descargue completamente todos los condensadores.
• Si el multímetro no se utiliza de acuerdo a las instrucciones, la protección de seguridad
del multímetro se verá disminuida.
• Cuando abra la carcasa (o parte de ella), apague el multímetro.
• Cuando aparezca el indicador de batería en la pantalla, reemplace la pila. Una
batería baja causará errores de lectura y puede ocasionar un shock eléctrico o lesiones
personales.
• Antes de abrir la tapa de la pila, extraiga los cables de prueba del multímetro.
• Al realizar el mantenimiento del multímetro, utilice las piezas de repuesto indicadas por
el fabricante.
Mantenimiento
Esta sección proporciona información sobre el mantenimiento básico, incluyendo
instrucciones para la sustitución de las pilas. No intente reparar o calibrar el multímetro a no
ser que sea experto en mantenimiento.

Para evitar lesiones o daños al multímetro, no moje las partes interiores del aparato. Antes
de abrir la carcasa o la tapa de la batería, extraiga los cables de pueba de los terminales de
entrada.
Limpie la carcasa del multímetro con regularidad con un trapo húmedo y una pequeña
cantidad de detergente. No utilice abrasivos, o disolventes químicos. Si los terminales de
entrada están sucios o húmedos, esto puede afectar las lecturas de medición.
Para limpiar la toma de entrada:
1. Apague el multímetro y desconecte todos los cables de prueba de los terminales de
entrada.
2. Limpie la suciedad de los terminales.
3. Aplique detergente o lubricante con un bastoncillo de algodón (como WD-40)
4. Limpie cada terminal con un bastoncillo de algodón diferente para prevenir contaminación
cruzada.
Cambio de las pilas
ADVERTENCIA
Para evitar un shock eléctrico, asegúrese de que los cables de prueba han sido correctamente
retirados del circuito a medir antes de abrir la tapa de las pilas.

No mezcle pilas usadas y nuevas. No mezcle baterías alcalinas, estándard (carbono-zinc) o
recargables (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc)
Si aparece en pantalla el signo , signica que las pilas necesitan ser cambiadas.
Aoje el tornillo de la tapa de las pilas y quítela. Cambie las pilas agotadas por unas nuevas.
Ponga la tapa de las pilas de nuevo y fíjela como estaba inicialmente.
Nota:
No invierta los polos de las pilas.
Reemplazo de los cables de prueba
Si el aislamiento en los cables está dañado, reemplácelos.
ADVERTENCIA
Utilice cables estándar certicados como CAT III 600V 10A o superior según EN 61010-31.

WARNING
The special attention should be paid when using the meter because the improper usage may
cause electric shock and damage the meter.
The safety measures in common safety regulations and operating instruction should be
complied with when using. In arder to make fully use of its functions and ensure safe operations
please comply with the usage in this section carefully.
This meter is a small hand-held, safe and reliable 3.5” digital auto measuring range multi-
meter with stable performance and novel structure. lt can be used to measure AC/DC
voltage, resistance, frequency, duty ratio, continuity and non-contact voltage tests. lt is an
ideal maintenance tool easily carried by a large number of users.
Safety lnstructions
This digital multi-meter has been designed according to lnternational Electro Safety Standard
EN 61010-1, EN 61010-2-030, EN 61010-2-033 concerning safetyrequirements for electronic
measuring instruments and hand-held digital multimeters. lt meets the requirements for CAT
III 600V of EN 61010-1, EN 61010-2-030, EN 61010-2-033 and grade2 for pollution.
• Users should use the meter strictly according to the provisions of this manual. Otherwise,
the warranty for the meter may become invalid.
• The warnings in the user manual are used to remind users of possible danger or
dangerous action.
• The notes in the user manual are used to remind users of possible meter damage or
condition or action of measured object.
Safe Working Habits
To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury as well as damage to the meter or
measured objects, please use the meter according to the following procedures methods:
• Check the case before using the meter. Don’t use the meter with damaged case. Check
to see if the case is cracked or lacks plastic parts. Please pay special attention to the joint
insulating layer.
• Check to see if the test wire has insulation damage or bare metal. Check test wire
continuity. lf the wire is damaged, please replace it with a new one before using the meter.
• Measure known voltage with the meter to verify that the meter is working properly. lf
the meter is working abnormally, stop using it immediately. A protective device may be
damaged. lf there is any doubt, please have the meter inspected by a qualied technician.
• Do not test voltage exceeding rated voltage marked on the meter.
• When testing voltage exceeding 30V AC voltage RMS,42V AC peak or 60V DC, be
particularly careful to avoid electric shock.
• When measuring, use correct jack, and select the proper function and measuring range.
• Do not use the meter in explosive gas, vapor or dusty environments.
• When using the probe, ngers should be behind the probe protection device.
• Before measuring resistance, continuity, rst turn o󰀨 power and discharge all high voltage
capacitors.
• lf the meter is not used in accordance with the instructions, the meter’s safety protective
function may become invalid.
• When opening the case (or part of the case), turn the meter o󰀨.
• When the battery low voltage indicator , becomes lit, replace the battery at once. A low
battery will cause meter reading errors and may result in electric shock or personal injury.
• Before opening the case or the battery cover, remove the test wire from the meter.
• When maintaining the meter, use replacement parts specied by the factory.
Maintenance
This section provides basic maintenance information, including instructions far the battery.
Do not try to repair the meter unless you are an experienced maintenance person with the
relevant calibration, performance testing and maintenance data.
WARNING
To avoid injury or damage to the meter, don’t wet the inner parts of the meter. Before opening the
case or battery cover, remove the connecting cable between the test probe and the input signal.
Regularly clean the meter case with damp cloth and a small amount of detergent. Do not
use abrasives or chemical solvents. lf the input jack beco mes dirty or wet, it may a󰀨ect the
measurement readings..
To clean input socket:
1. Turn o󰀨 the meter and pull out all the test probes from the input jack.
2. Remove all dirt from the jacks.
3. Apply detergent or lubricant to a new cotton ball (such as WD-40).
4. Clean each jack with a cotton ball and lubricant to prevent contamination by moisture in
the socket.
Replacing The Batteries
WARNING
To avoid electric shock, make sure that the test leads have been clearly move away from the
circuit under measurement before opening the battery cover of the meter.
WARNING
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.
lf the sign , appears, it means that the batteries should be replaced.
Loasen the xing screw of the battery cover and remove it.
Replace the exhausted batteries with new ones.
Put the battery cover back and x it again to its origin form.
Note:
Do not reverse the poi es of the batteries.
Replace test leads
lf insulation on leads is damaged, replace test leads.
WARNING
Use meet EN 61010-31 standard, rated CAT III 600V, 10A or better test leads.
