PRECAUCIONES
- No intente retirar la carcasa trasera para ajustar o reparar el multímetro. Estas acciones
solo deben ser llevadas a cabo por un técnico que conozca completamente el multímetro
y el peligro que implica.
- Antes de abrir la tapa de la pila, desconecte siempre los cables de prueba de los circuitos
a prueba.

Para evitar cualquier descarga eléctrica ocasionada por lecturas erróneas, cambie la pila
inmediatamente cuando el símbolo " " aparezca en la pantalla.
- Utilice un trapo húmedo y detergente suave para limpiar el multímetro. No utilice abrasivos
o disolventes.
- Gire la rueda selectora a la posición OFF para desconectar la alimentación cuando el
multímetro no se esté utilizando.
- Retire la pila para evitar daños en el multímetro si va a permanecer inactivo durante un
periodo prolongado.
- El uso de este instrumento en un ambiente con un fuerte campo electromagnético de
radiofrecuencia (aproximadamente 3V/m) podría inuir en la precisión de las mediciones.
El resultado de las medidas puede estar ampliamente desviado del valor real.
MANTENIMIENTO
Sustitución de la pila
ADVERTENCIA
Antes de abrir la tapa de la pila del multímetro retire los cables de prueba del circuito a medir
para evitar riesgos de descarga eléctrica.
- Cuando se muestra el símbolo en pantalla, se debe sustituir la pila inmediatamente.
- Sitúe la rueda selectora en la posición OFF y retire los cables de prueba de los terminales
de entrada.
- Aoje el tornillo y retire la tapa de la pila.
- Instale la nueva pila, coloque de nuevo la tapa de la pila y je el tornillo.
Sustitución de los fusibles
ADVERTENCIA
Antes de abrir la tapa de la pila del multímetro retire los cables de prueba del circuito a medir
para evitar riesgos de descarga eléctrica.
Para evitar peligro de fuego, asegúrese de utilizar el fusible especificado (de tensión,
corriente y velocidad de actuación nominal)
- Sitúe la rueda selectora en la posición OFF y retire los cables de prueba de los terminales
de entrada.
- Retire la cubierta protectora y aoje los tornillos.
- Retire la carcasa trasera, haga palanca desde uno de los extremos del fusible y retire el
fusible de los terminales de sujeción.
- Después de instalar el nuevo fusible, coloque de nuevo la carcasa trasera y je los
tornillos.
Sustitución de los cables de prueba
Sustituya los cables de prueba si están dañados o desnudos.

Utilice cables de prueba que cumplan con la normativa EN61010-031, con calicación CAT
III 600V o superior.

El multímetro puede ser usado para medir tensión AC y DC, corriente AC y DC y resistencia,
comprobar continuidad de circuitos y diodos, detectar el estado de líneas telefónicas,
identicar los puntos de ruptura en los cables de datos, trazar el trayecto de los cables de
datos, detectar la integridad de los cables de red y detectar tensión sin contacto.

Tome las precauciones habituales y siga todas las indicaciones de seguridad sugeridas en
este manual. Para hacer un uso completo de la funcionalidad del multímetro y garantizar un
uso seguro, por favor lea atentamente y siga las indicaciones del manual. Si el equipo se
utiliza de forma no especicada por el fabricante, la protección proporcionada puede quedar
inhabilitada.
El multímetro digital autoescala cumple con los requerimientos de seguridad referentes
a instrumentos electrónicos de medida de acuerdo a IEC-61010-1, el grado de
contaminación 2 y la normativa de sobretensión CAT III 600V.
Siga las instrucciones de seguridad y funcionamiento para garantizar un uso seguro del
multímetro.

INFORMACIÓN PRELIMINAR
- Al utilizar el multímetro, el usuario debe tener en cuenta todas las normas de seguridad
referentes a:
1) Protección general frente a descargas eléctricas.
2) Protección del multímetro frente a un uso indebido.
- Al recibir el multímetro, compruebe si ha sufrido daños durante el transporte.
- Si ha sido almacenado y transportado en condiciones extremas, debe comprobar si el
multímetro está dañado.
- Los cables de prueba deben mantenerse en buenas condiciones. Antes de la utilización,
compruebe si el aislamiento de los cables está dañado o si cualquiera cable ha quedado
al descubierto.
- Utilice los cables de prueba suministrados para garantizar la seguridad en las operaciones.
Si fuese necesario, deben ser cambiados por cables del mismo modelo o clase.
NORMAS DE USO
- Utilice la función, la escala y los terminales de entrada correctos.
- No realice mediciones que excedan los valores límites de protección indicados en las
especicaciones.
- No toque las puntas de metal de los cables de prueba cuando el multímetro esté
conectado al circuito a comprobar.
- Mantenga sus dedos detrás de las barreras protectoras de las puntas de prueba al
realizar mediciones con una tensión efectiva por encima de 60V DC o 30V AC.
- No realice mediciones de tensión si el valor entre los terminales y tierra exceden los
1000V.
- Si desconoce el valor a medir, seleccione la escala más alta en el modo manual de
medición.
- No conecte el multímetro a una fuente de tensión mientras la rueda selectora esté en las
posiciones de corriente, resistencia, diodo o continuidad.
- Desconecte los cables de prueba del circuito a comprobar antes de girar la rueda
selectora para cambiar la función.
- Tenga cuidado ya que los pulsos de alta tensión al comprobar el circuito de alimentación
de aparatos de televisión podrían dañar el multímetro.
- No mida resistencia, diodos o continuidad de circuitos activos.
- No utilice la pinza cerca de gases explosivos, vapor o suciedad.
- Deje de utilizar el multímetro si observa cualquier fallo o funcionamiento anormal.
- No utilice el multímetro a menos que la tapa trasera y la cubierta de la pila estén
correctamente jadas en su posición original.
- No almacene o utilice el multímetro en zonas expuestas a luz solar directa, a altas de
temperaturas o con una humedad relativa elevada.

- Use wet cloth and mild detergent to clean the meter; do not use abrasives or solvents.
- Turn to OFF switch off the power when is not in use.
- Remove the batteries to avoid damages to the meter if it will idle for a long time.
- Using this appliance in an environment with a strong radiated radio-frequency
electromagnetic field (approximately 3V/m) may influence its measuring accuracy. The
measuring result can be strongly deviating from the actual value.
MAINTENANCE
Replacemento of batteries
WARNING
Before opening the battery cover of the meter, remove the test probes from the circuit under
test to avoid the risk of electric shock.
- When the symbol is displayed, the batteries should be replaced immediately.
- Turn the range selector to OFF and remove the test wires from the input terminals.
- Unfasten the screws and remove the battery cover.
- Mount new batteries, replace the battery cover and fasten the screws.
Replacement of fuse
WARNING
Before opening the battery cover of the meter, remove the test probes from the circuit under
test to avoid the risk of electric shock.
To avoid re hazards, be sure to use the designated fuse (at rated voltage, amperage and
blow rate)
- Turn the range selector to OFF and remove the test leads from the input terminals.
- Remove the protective cover and unfasten the screws.
- Remove the rear case, pry up one end of the fuse gently and then remove the fuse from
the clip.
- After a new fuse is mounted, replace the rear case and fasten the screws.
Replacing test probes
Replace test leads if leads become damaged or worn.

Use meet EN61010-031 standard, rated CAT.III 600V, or better test leads.

The meter is a portable specialized measuring instrument with a large digital LCD, as well as
a backlight source for easy reading. The range selector designed for a single-hand operation
makes measurement easy. Overload protection and low battery indication are provided, It

The meter can be used to measure DC and AC voltages and currents, and resistances, teste
circuit continuity and diodes, detect phone line mode, judge break points in cable lines, track
the routing of cable lines, and detect network cable integrity and non-contact voltage.

result in electric shock or destruction of the meter. Take all normal safety precautions and
follow the safeguards suggested in this manual. To exploit full functionality of the meter and
ensure safe operation, protection provided by the instrument will be impaired if used in a
manner not specied by the manufacturer.
The Auto Range Digital Multimeter (hereinafter referred to as” the meter”) complies with the
safety requirements for electronic measuring instruments in IEC-61010-1, falls into pollution
degree 2 and meets the over-voltage standard of CAT. III 600V.
Follow all safety and operation instructions to ensure safe use of the meter.
With proper use and care, the meter will give you years of satisfactory service.
PRELIMINARY
- To operate the meter, the user must observe the following normal safety rules:
1) General protection against electric shock
2) Protection of the meter against misuse
- When the meter is received, please check whether it has been damaged during transport.
- After being stored and delivered under harsh conditions, the meter should be checked and
confirmed for damage
- The test probes must be kept in good condition. Check whether the insulation of the test
probes has been damaged and whether any wire has been exposed.
- Using the test probes supplied can ensure safety. If required, they must be replaced with
those of the same model or class.
DOS AND DON´TS
- Use the right input jack, function and range.
- Do not take measurements beyond the protection limits indicated in the specifications.
- Do not touch the metal tips of the test probes when connecting the meter to the circuit to
be measured.
- Keep your fingers behind the probe barriers when taking a measurement with an effective
voltage of above 60V DC or 30V AC.
- Do not take any voltage measurement if the value between the measuring terminal and
the ground exceeds 1000V.
- Select the highest range if the value to be measured in the manual range is known.
- Do not connect the meter to any voltage source while the meter is in the current, resistance,
diode or continuity test range.
- Disconnect the test probes from the circuit under test before turning the range selector to
change functions.
- Be careful in that high voltage pulses at the test point may damage the meter when
measurements are being taken on the switching power circuit of a TV set.
- Do not measure the resistance, diode or continuity of live circuits.
- Do not use the meter near explosive gases, steam or dirt.
- Stop using the meter if any abnormalities or faults are noticed.
- Do not use the meter unless its rear case is securely fastened in its original position.
- Do not store or use the meter in areas exposed to direct sunlight, high temperatures or
high humidity.
PRECAUTIONS
- Do not adjust or repair the meter by attempting to remove the rear case. Such operation
should only be performed by a technician who fully understands the meter and the electric
shock risk involved.
- Remove the test probes from the circuit under test before opening the battery cover of
the meter.
- To avoid any electric shock caused by erroneous readings, replace the batteries
immediately when the “ ” symbol appears on the LCD.
- To avoid fire hazards, the replacement fuse must meet the specified voltage and current
ratings of F10A/500v and F200mA/1000V (quick acting).
