CARACTERÍSTICAS
VALORES DE TORQUE ALTOS Y ALTA MOVILI-
DAD

esfuerzo en el trabajo en conexiones grandes

CARACTERÍSTICAS DE CONSTRUCCIÓN:
- Engranes planetarios (1, 2 o 3 pasos).

da y salida.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
IMPORTANTE: NO UTILICE HERRAMIENTAS
DE IMPACTO NEUMÁTICAS O DE PODER CON
ESTE MULTIPLICADOR.
1. Conecte un dado de impacto al cuadro de
mando del multiplicador y otro dado del mis-
mo tamaño al cuadro del mango de reacción.
Asegúrelos mediante un perno y un O-ring.
Atención: Asegúrese que los dados tengan la
misma longitud.
2. Ponga el multiplicador de torque con el
dado de impacto en la cabeza del tornillo so-
bre el cual quiere trabajar y el dado de impacto
del mango de reacción sobre la cabeza de un
tornillo adyacente.
3. En los modelos URREA 6234 y URREA 6242,
URREA 6252 y URREA 6262 posicione la palan-
ca de direccionamiento de acuerdo al sentido
de giro que requiera sistema reversible, R=
Operación a la derecha (en sentido de movi-
miento de las manecillas del reloj) y L= Opera-
ción hacia la izquierda (en contra de las mane-
cillas del reloj).
4. Ajuste el valor necesario de entrada del
multiplicador para asegurar el valor de salida
requerido.
5. Coloque una llave de torque en el cuadro
hembra del multiplicador y apriete hasta el
valor de torque preseleccionado. No detenga
ni el mango del multiplicador ni la cabeza del
multiplicador con sus manos, las fuerzas ge-
neradas durante la operación pueden causar
daños.
6. En los modelos URREA 6234 y URREA 6242,
URREA 6252 y URREA 6262 el sistema de ajuste
deberá ser descargado al final de cada opera-
ción. Esto se realiza mediante la aplicación de
una pequeña fuerza direccionándola hacia la
posición central (0). Finalmente desmonte cui-
dadosamente el multiplicador.
CUIDADO:
1. Solo utilice llaves torque.
2. Nunca utilice herramienta de impacto o de
poder.
3. Asegúrese de que el mango de reacción se
encuentre debidamente apoyado contra un
objeto fijo.
4. El mismo procedimiento utilizado para apre-
tar aplica para aflojar conexiones roscadas.
Para proteger el sistema de engranes también
recomendamos usar solo herramientas de tor-
que URREA. Ajuste el máximo torque de entra-
da de su multiplicador URREA de acuerdo a la
llave de torque que se utilice.
SISTEMA DE SEGURIDAD CONTRA SOBRECAR-
GAS:
Con la finalidad de proteger el sistema de en-
granes contra sobrecarga, todos los multiplica-
dores de torque URREA cuentan con un perno
de seguridad.

Este perno de seguridad puede ser fácilmente
reemplazado por el usuario en el lugar de tra-
bajo.
MANTENIMIENTO
1. El mecanismo interno del multiplicador se lu-
brica permanentemente durante el ensamble.
No trate de lubricar el mecanismo interno.
2. Limpie el multiplicador quitando la suciedad
con un paño. No lo sumerja en agua, líquidos
limpiadores, etc.
3. Guarde el multiplicador en su caja protecto-
ra después del uso.

FEATURES
BIG TORQUE VALUES AND HIGH MOBILITY
On big or difficult-to-move bolt connections
are the ultimate solution for time and Power-
saving work.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: DON’T USE PNEUMATIC OR
POWER TOOLS WITH THE MULTIPLIER.
1. Connect an impact socket to the drive and
to the reaction square drive of the multiplier
(secure with pin and ring).
Attention: make sure that the sockets have the
same length.
2. Put torque multiplier with fixed impact sock-
et over the bolt connection to be moved and
on the neighbour bolt to apply reaction force.
3. On devices URREA 6234, 6242, 6252 and
6262 set working direction required by mov-
ing selection pawl of anti-backlash-device on L
= left hand operation (dismounting) or on R =
right hand operation (tightening).
4. Adjust your torque wrench to the input
torque value necessary to achieve the required
output torque (chart see on page 3).
5. Now put torque wrench onto torque mul-
tiplier and tighten up to the pre-set input
torque value. Do neither hold reaction anchor
nor torque multiplier with your hands, the
forces that are created during operation may
lead to injuries.
6. On devices URREA 6234, 6242, 6252 and 6262
the planetary gear system must be discharged
when operation is finished. This is done by
shortly loading torque multiplier into working
direction and putting the selection pawl into
neutral position (0). Then carefully discharge.
CAUTION:
1. Only use torque wrenches.
2. Never use a pneumatic or electronic impact
tool.
3. Please make sure that the reaction bar is
properly placed against a strong fixed object.
4. The same procedure used for tightening
screw connections applies to loosening screw
connections.
To protect the planetary gear we also recom-
mend using only torque wrenches.
Adjust the maximum input torque of your UR-
REA-torque multiplier to the torque wrench.
Shear-off-system:
In order to protect gear system against over-
loading all URREA-torque multipliers are fitted
with a controlled shear-off system.
Sheared off pins can easily be replaced by user
at working site.

MAINTENANCE
1. The torque multiplier’s internal mechanism
is permanently lubricated during assembly. Do
not attempt to lubricate the internal mecha-
nism.
2. Clean multiplier by wiping. Do not immerse.
3. Store torque multiplier in its protective case
after operation.
