Measuring cup lid / Butter tray
1. Place the appliance on a heat resistant bench top away from other heat sources,
water or combustible material. You need adequate room around the appliance to
make your popcorn.
2. Fit the popcorn popper cover (large clear plastic lid) onto the top of the appliance.
3. Ensure the “chute” is facing the same direction as the appliance feeder chute.

Making Popcorn
Popcorn is available at most supermarkets and food specialty stores
1. Add 1 measuring cup lid/ butter tray of corn to the heating chamber.
Note. 1 measuring cup lid / butter tray = 1/3

Warning! Do not add more than the stated amount to the heating chamber. Do not put
other substances such as butter, oil, salt, shortening, sugar or margarine into the
heating chamber.

2. Place the popcorn popper lid (A) and cover (B) onto the appliance base
3. Place the measuring cup lid / butter tray onto the lid assembly. CAUTION. Do not
operate without the lid assembly and measuring cup lid installed
4. Place a heat proof bowl in front of the popcorn chute. If a metal bowl is used it may
get hot but it will however keep the popcorn hotter for longer
5. Connect to the mains supply and switch power on. The appliance will heat the
popcorn using hot air and when cooked the popcorn will be expelled into the bowl.
6. Whilst the appliance is operating butter can be melted in the measuring cup
lid/butter tray. For best results cut into small cubes. Do not fill measuring cup
lid/butter tray with more than ¼ cup of butter
7. When popping is complete switch appliance off and disconnect power.
8. Pour melted butter into the bowl, mix and serve.
Tips
Do not operate appliance without popcorn
Only use regular or premium popcorn. Do not use microwavable popcorn
Never add oils, fats, shortening, sugar or salt to the heating chamber.
Allow popcorn to completely finish popping before removing the lid
Due to variances in popcorn type, freshness and moisture content some may
remain inside the appliance when finished. This is normal.
Use oven gloves or similar when handling hot surfaces.
Allow the appliance to cool before any second batch.
Warning – Hot parts!
Do not touch hot parts. Always allow to cool completely before touching. Use oven
gloves or similar
Continuous use
This appliance is not designed for continuous usage over long periods. After each use
allow the appliance to cool down before re use. Long periods of continuous use may
overheat the motor.

Cleaning
Warning! When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the
mains supply.
Warning! Do not allow the appliance or supply cord and plug to be immersed in any
liquid
Warning! Allow to cool completely before cleaning. Hot surfaces pose a risk of burns.
Wipe the appliance body and popping chamber with a hot damp cloth, dry with a dry
towel. Warning! Do not immerse.
Wash the popcorn popper lid, measuring cup lid / butter tray and lid in hot soapy water,
dry with a dry towel.

Warning! Children
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning safe use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Young children must be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
Safely dispose of any plastic bags or other packaging that may present a hazard
to young children of suffocation or choke hazard.
Warning! Unattended Appliances
Do not leave any appliance unattended when in use or connected to the mains power
or near children.
•Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and
before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
•Do not allow children to use the appliance without supervision.

For household indoor use only, do not use outdoors. Not for commercial use.
Power cord
Do not abuse or damage the supply cord. If for any reason the cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid hazard. A replaceable cord must be replaced with an authorised
replacement from an authorized service agent.
Heat
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or where it could touch other heat
sources. Do not touch hot surfaces.
Use
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
•Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
•Farm houses
•By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
•Bed and breakfast type environments
Store
Warning! Before storage of this appliance allow it to cool down
Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs
or if the appliance has been misused return it to the supplier prior to any further use for
checking.
Store the appliance along with the manual and accessories together in a dry place.
Service
Refer all servicing to qualified personal. This appliance has no user servicing parts or
requirements. Return the appliance to the retailer if it is damaged in any way or not
operating properly along with your receipt of purchase.
