LHG LTE kit
LHG LTE with factory installed R11e-LTE modem.
Quickstart
1. While holding the unit by its central column, a ly force to the tab, which holds the latch closed, until the
latch o s o en.
2. Insert the SIM card into the slot.
3. Assemble case by attaching legs to the base of the unit, lease see Case assembly aragra h.
4. Mount unit in your desired lace, lease see Mounting aragra h.
5. Connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet ort, connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the included
PoE injector.
6. Plug the PoE injector into your network switch or ISP internet outlet.
7. Plug the included ower su ly into the PoE injector to start u the device. lease see owering
aragra h.
8. Set LAN com uter IP configuration to automatic (DHCP).
9. Once connected to the wireless network, o en htt ://192.168.88.1 in your web browser to start
configuration, since there is no assword by default, you will be logged in automatically.
10. We recommend clicking the “Check for u dates” button and u dating your RouterOS software to the latest
version to ensure the best erformance and stability.
11. Choose your country, to a ly country regulation settings (if a licable) and set u your assword in the
screen that loads.
Case assembly
1. Attach the two legs to the LHG case by sliding them onto the res ective sides, legs are different and
cannot be exchanged (when looking at the roduct lace it that cover for Ethernet ort is in front of you, leg
marked R is for the right side, leg marked L is for the left side).
2. Sna the assembled LHG unit to the grid in the a ro riate central location.
3. Fix the two legs in lace with included two self thread screws (Philli s screwdriver PH2).
The ackage also contains a grounding cable connector and a 5-degree angle ada ter, for easier u or downward
tilt adjustment. See Mounting aragra h.
Accessories
Package includes the following accessories that come with the device:
•DC ⎓EU/US Switching Power Su ly 24 V, 0.38 A, 9 W, Level VI, cable:1.5 m.
•LHG-390 shim T=2,85 mm with 5-degree angle mark, grounding connector and self thread screws.
•Hose Clam SUS304 (Phili s ty e; clam ing diameter range 35-70 mm) 2 cs.
•Gigabit POE injector.
•LHG-5G-390 mm Dish 3,0x2.5x0,5 mm.
Expansion slots and ports
•One 10/100 Ethernet ort, su orting automatic cross/straight cable correction (Auto MDI/X). Either straight
or crossover cable can be used for connecting to other network devices. The Ethernet ort acce ts 9-30 V
DC owering from a assive PoE injector.
•MiniPCIe slot and SIM slot (can’t be used se arately) to be used with a 3G/4G/LTE modem.

Opening the case cover
O tional - to access the miniPCIe slot, the o ening of the unit to cover is required. As an o ening tool, you can
use a large size flat head screwdriver or a small coin. Be extremely cautious when o ening, because the incorrect
o ening of the cli can break it off!
Mounting and configuration of this device should be done by a qualified person.
Follow these ste s:
Additional Caution when lifting u the cover, do not force it with shar objects.

1. Follow this order when o ening the
unit.
2. Insert a screwdriver into the first slot.
3. Turn the screwdriver, until one side o s o en.
Continue in the above order.
4. Lift cover to access the card.

mini CIe slot usage
The device is equi ed with a miniPCIe slot and has already installed LTE modem. One SIM slot are rovided for
use together with a miniPCIe modem. SIM slot is not usable se arately.
Re lacing a miniPCIe module should be done by a qualified erson, lease follow safety recautions when
handling electrical equi ment:
1. Use a wrist grounding stra when un acking and working with electrical com onents to avoid electrical
discharge (ESD) damage.
2. O en the u er cover as shown on instruction reviously.
3. The antenna is located underneath PCB.
4. Locate the miniPCIe slot on the PCB and remove two factory attached screws.
5. Attach rovided a thick thermal ad to the card, and install the card into miniPCIe slot so that thermal ad
is between PCB and card.
6. Insert your desired card.
7. Secure card in lace using reviously removed two screws.
8. Attach the grey uFL connector to the MAIN antenna connector of the modem, attach the black cable to the
secondary (or AUX) connector.
9. Attach a thinner thermal ad to the to of the card.
10. Reassembly in back order.
After reassembly, slide in the SIM card from your mobile o erator into the SIM slot, with the chi s facing u as
shown on the ort label. The slot acce ts miniSIM (2FF).
owering
The device can be owered from 12-57 V 802.3af/at sources and also Passive PoE injectors (one ower su ly
and PoE injector are included).
Maximum ower consum tion 6 W.
Connecting to a POE Ada ter:
1. Connect the Ethernet cable from the device to the POE ort of the POE ada ter.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your LAN to the LAN ort of the POE ada ter, lease mind arrows for data
and ower flow.
3. Connect the ower cord to the ada ter, and then lug the ower cord into a ower outlet.

Mounting
1. Slide the included metallic mounting rings into the two slots on the back of the antenna dish.
2. Attach the unit to a ole, with the Ethernet ort ointing downward.
3. Use a PH2 screwdriver to tighten the rings.
4. Fix the Ethernet cable to the ole using zi ties, less than one meter from the unit, to avoid the cable being
ulled out of the ort.
5. Check mounting angle and ositioning.
6. O tional: if required, before mounting the unit, you can insert the included 5-degree adjustment ada ter
into the to or bottom slot where the mounting ring is inserted. This will create an additional u ward or
downward angle when the unit is tightened to a vertical ole.
7. Insert 5-degree angle ada ter to one of the slots and remount the unit.
When mounting outdoors, lease ensure that any cable o enings are directed downwards. Use POE injector and
ro er grounding, this device has s ecially designed grounding connector under the ort cover. Recommended
using shielded Cat5/6 cable. The IP rating scale for this device is IP54.
Warning! This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 120 cm between the device
and your body. peration of this equipment in the residential environment could cause radio interference.
Configuration
Once logged in, we recommend clicking the “Check for u dates” button in the QuickSet menu, as u dating your
RouterOS software to the latest version ensures the best erformance and stability. For wireless models, lease
make sure you have selected the country where the device will be used, to conform with local regulations.
RouterOS includes many configuration o tions in addition to what is described in this document. We suggest
starting here to get yourself accustomed to the ossibilities: htt ://mt.lv/hel . In case IP connection is not available,
the Winbox tool (htt ://mt.lv/winbox) can be used to connect to the MAC address of the device from the LAN side
(all access is blocked from the Internet ort by default).

Reset button
The reset button has three functions:
•Release the button when a green LED starts flashing, to reset RouterOS configuration to defaults.
•Release the button when the LED turns solid green to clear all configuration and defaults.
•Release the button after LED is no longer lit (~20 seconds) to cause a device to look for Netinstall servers
(required for reinstalling RouterOS over the network).
Regardless of the above o tion used, the system will load the backu RouterBOOT loader if the button is ressed
before ower is a lied to the device. Useful for RouterBOOT debugging and recovery.
The device includes a grounding connection behind the Ethernet ort door, which you should connect to the
grounding installation of the tower or building where the device will be used. This is to substantially reduce the risk
of ESD and lightning damage.
Mode button
The action of the mode buttons can be configured from RouterOS software to execute any user-su lied RouterOS
scri t. You can also disable this button. The mode button can be configured in RouterOS menu /system routerboard
mode-button.

RBLHGR&R11e-LTE includes LTE modem that su orts International LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 20, 38 and 40.
For the US version:

Operating system support
The device su orts RouterOS software version 6. The s ecific factory installed version number is indicated in the
RouterOS menu /system resource. Other o erating systems have not been tested.
