DS Vision 3000 Receiver and Receiver Long
Quick Installation Guide
This guide explains how to connect and mount the DS Vision 3000
Receiver / Receiver Long units.
1. The Receiver and Receiver Long ports
The figures below illustrates the Receiver and Receiver Long ports

2. Connecting the Receiver /Receiver Long
1. Connect the screen to the Video port.
2. Connect the audio/speakers to the Audio port/s. Where the audio/speakers
have one stereo jack, connect it to the L&R port. Where the
audio/speakers have two separate connectors connect the left speaker
connector to the L port and the right speaker connector the R port.
3. Where relevant connect the Serial connection to the Serial port
2.1 Connecting to the DS Vision 3000 system
Connect the Receiver / Receiver Long units to the DS Vision 3000 system using
CATx (CAT 5/5e/6/7 UTP) cables. Connect the CATx cables between the
System ports of the Broadcaster/Transmitter and Receivers/Receivers Long.
2.2 Connecting to the power supply
Connect all Receiver units to the power supply with 5 VDC, 1A from the
AC/DC adapters provided. Ensure correct polarity (Center negative) and
voltage.

3. Mounting the Receiver / Receiver Long
The Receiver / Receiver Long units have VESA standard screw holes 75mm and
100mm apart, see the figure below. Use the 2 screws supplied (or the screws you
may find at the back of the monitor) to connect the unit to the back of the monitor.

4. Tuning the Receiver / Receiver Long units
To tune the Receiver / Receiver Long units, see the tuning section of the User
Guide. The latest User Guide can be found on our website www.minicom.com in
the Support section.
