Gebrauchsanleitung!
Diese Gebrauchsanleitung enthält wichtige
Informationen für den sicheren Umgang mit
dem Trägersystem. Auf mögliche Gefahren
wird besonders hingewiesen. Die Nichtbeach-
tung kann zu Verletzungen oder Unfällen
führen.
Ø Lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung sorgfältig
durch.
Ø Befolgen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise in
dieser Gebrauchsanleitung.
Ø Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung
zugänglich auf.
In folgenden Fällen ist die Benutzung des
Trägersystems untersagt:
- Bei Beschädigung des Trägersystems.
- Bei eigenmächtigen Umbauten oder
Veränderungen.
- Für Kinder oder Personen, die Gefahren im
Umgang mit dem Trägersystem nicht
einschätzen können.
In folgenden Fällen übernimmt der Hersteller
keine Haftung oder Garantie bei Schäden:
- Bei Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanleitung
- Bei bestimmungswidriger Verwendung.
- Bei unsachgemäßer Handhabung.
- Bei Verwendung von Ersatzteilen, die nicht
vom Hersteller autorisiert wurden.
- Bei unqualifizierter Reparatur des
Trägersystems.
2.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Trägersystem e.hit darf nur in Verbindung
mit der Zubehörhalterung e.base und dem
unter Absatz 3.2 aufgeführtem Zubehör als
Trägersystem verwendet werden.
Das Trägersystem ist geeignet für die
Verwendung auf asphaltierten Straßen. Eine
Benutzung im Gelände (Offroad) ist nicht
zulässig.
Die Benutzung des Trägersystems ist nur bei
korrekter Anbringung und im technisch
einwandfreiem Zustand zulässig.
Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung gehört
auch das Einhalten der Angaben auf dem
Typenschild und das Lesen und Beachten
dieser Gebrauchsanleitung.
Jede andere Verwendung gilt als
bestimmungswidrig.
2.2 Sicherheitshinweise zum Gebrauch
Im Straßenverkehr ist der Fahrzeugführer für
die Sicherheit des Fahrzeugs und dessen
Ladung verantwortlich.
Die landesspezifischen Gesetze zur Ladungs-
sicherung haben Vorrang und müssen immer
beachtet werden (z.B. Kennzeichnungspflicht
mit einer Warntafel).
Folgende Werte müssen bei der Nutzung vom
Trägersystem eingehalten werden:
- Maximale Traglast des Trägersystems in
Abhängigkeit vom Trägersystemtyp. Der
e.hit 120 hat 120 kg und der e.hit 150 hat
150 kg Traglast (inklusive Gewicht vom
darauf befestigtem Zubehör).
- Zulässige Achslast des Fahrzeugs.
- Zulässiges Gesamtgewicht des Fahrzeugs.

v Angaben zu Achslast und Gesamtgewicht
entnehmen Sie der Anleitung und/oder dem
Fahrzeugschein Ihres Fahrzeugs.
Vor Fahrantritt
Bei Verwendung des Trägersystems sind
folgende Punkte vor Fahrantritt zu prüfen:
- Korrekte Anbringung des Trägersystems am
Fahrzeug.
- Korrekte Befestigung des Zubehörs.
- Verriegelung aller Schlösser.
- Freie Sicht von hinten auf die Beleuchtung
und auf das Kennzeichen des Trägersystems
e.base.
- Freie Sicht des Fahrers in alle Richtungen.
- Wenn die Ladung seitlich mehr als 380mm
über den Lampenträger des e.base
hinausragt, muss die Lampenposition
(
à
Absatz 7 in Gebrauchsanleitung e.base)
eingestellt werden. Wenn die Verstellung
nicht reichen sollte, ist die Ladung wie folgt
zu kennzeichnen:
- Nach vorne durch ein weißes Licht.
- Nach hinten durch ein rotes Licht.
- Maximal 1500 mm über der Fahrbahn.
- Wenn eine am Fahrzeug befindliche dritte
Bremsleuchte durch den Transport verdeckt
wird, muss eine dritte Ersatzbremsleuchte
angebracht werden.
- Um die Hecklastigkeit zu reduzieren, muss
schwere Ladung im Kofferraum möglichst
weit vorne platziert werden.
Empfehlung, wenn auf dem Trägersystem
nichts transportiert wird:
Trägersystem (
à
Absatz 8 in Gebrauchs-
anleitung e.base) abnehmen und z.B. im
Kofferraum transportieren. Trägersystem e.hit
einklappen und einfahren. Dadurch kann der
Kraftstoffverbrauch gesenkt, das Einparken
erleichtert und das Trägersystem geschont
werden.
Während der Fahrt
Bei Verwendung des Trägersystems sind folgende
Punkte während der Fahrt zu beachten:
- Durch Blick in den Rückspiegel muss die Lade-
situation regelmäßig beobachtet werden.
- Wenn Veränderungen der Ladesituation
auftreten, muss mit reduzierter Geschwindig-
keit zur nächsten Haltemöglichkeit gefahren
und die Befestigung überprüft werden.
- Die Geschwindigkeit von 130 km/h darf nicht
überschritten werden.
- Durch die vergrößerte Seitenfläche muss mit
erhöhter Seitenwindempfindlichkeit gerechnet
werden.
- Durch eine veränderte Lastverteilung muss mit
einer Veränderung des Bremsverhaltens
gerechnet werden.
- Es darf nicht im Gelände (Offroad) gefahren
werden.
- Es darf nicht in die Waschanlage gefahren
werden.
- Der korrekte Sitz des Trägersystems mit
Zubehör und die Befestigung der Ladung
müssen ca. 10 km nach Fahrtbeginn überprüft
werden.
- Bei längeren Fahrten muss der korrekte Sitz des
Trägersystems mit Zubehör und die Befestigung
der Ladung alle 500km überprüft werden. Bei
unebenen Straßenverhältnissen entsprechend
früher.
- Durch Belegung des Steckers im Trägersystem
e.base können Assistenzsysteme (z.B.
Einparkhilfe, Parkassistent, automatische
Kofferraumklappe) automatisch deaktiviert
werden.

4 Tragarme ausfahren
Ø Überprüfen Sie (falls vorhanden), ob die
Kugelstange der Anhängevorrichtung
abgenommen und der Steckdosenhalter
weggeschwenkt ist.
Ø Achten Sie während der Senkbewegung auf
Hindernisse unter dem Fahrzeug.
Ø Es sollte auch unmittelbar hinter dem
Fahrzeug ausreichend Freiraum vorhanden
sein.
Ø Drücken Sie den Taster in Ihrer Heckgarage
um das System auszufahren.
Ø Der Taster muss während der gesamten
Dauer gedrückt gehalten werden!
Ø Achten Sie auf die Signaltöne:
• Langsames Piepen – System fährt
• Doppeltes Piepen – System fertig
ausgefahren
Ø Ist das System vollständig ausgefahren,
können Sie mit der Montage der e.base
beginnen.

5 Tragarme einfahren
Ø Entfernen Sie sämtliches Zubehör auf den
Tragarmen des e.hit.
Ø Drücken Sie den Taster in Ihrer Heckgarage
um das System einzufahren.
Ø Der Taster muss während der gesamten
Dauer gedrückt gehalten werden!
Ø Achten Sie auf die Signaltöne:
• Langsames Piepen – System fährt
• Doppeltes Piepen – System fertig
eingefahren
Ø Überprüfen Sie, ob die Gehäuseabdeckung
unten vollständig eingefahren ist.
6 Wartung und Pflege
Ø Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Tragarme und
vorallem der Stecker für die Stromver-
sorgung des e.base frei von Dreck- und
Schmutzablagerungen sind.

ACHTUNG!
Gefahr von Beschädigungen durch unsach-
gemäße Reinigung!
Hochdruckreiniger, Scheuermilch oder
aggressive Reinigungsmittel können das
Trägersystem beschädigen.
Ø Reinigen Sie das Trägersystem mit Wasser
und Autoshampoo.

Das Trägersystem muss wie folgt gepflegt
werden:
Ø Reinigen Sie das Trägersystem regelmäßig.
Ø Entfernen Sie Salz und Schmutz nach
Wintereinsatz.
Ø Besprühen Sie den Stecker der Stromver-
sorung des e.base in regelmäßigen
Abständen mit Kontaktspray. Dies sollte
nach jeder Reinigung oder mindestens aber
alle 2 Monate durchgeführt werden.

7 Produkt-Gewährleistung
Sehr geehrter Kunde,
mit dem Kauf dieses Minnid-Produktes haben
Sie sich für einen hohen Qualitätsstandard
entschieden.
Aus diesem Grund sagt Ihnen die GA Actuation
Systems GmbH unter den in dieser Erklärung
aufgeführten Bedingungen für dieses Minnid-
Produkt eine Produkt-Gewährleistung von zwei
(2) Jahren zu.
Diese Produkt-Gewährleistung gilt unter der
Voraussetzung, dass
- Sie Ihren gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt (Wohnsitz)
in Europa haben,
- dieses Minnid-Produkt von der GA Actuation
Systems GmbH hergestellt und als Neu-
Produkt verkauft wurde und
- Sie dieses Minnid-Produkt nach Erwerb auf
Mängel untersucht und erkannte Mängel an
den Händler, bei dem Sie dieses Minnid-
Produkt gekauft haben, mitgeteilt haben.
Soweit die in dieser Erklärung aufgeführten
Bedingungen für eine Produkt-Gewährleistung
erfüllt sind, sind Sie berechtigt, Ansprüche
gegenüber der GA Actuation Systems GmbH
geltend zu machen, wenn
- durch von GA Actuation Systems GmbH zu
verantwortende Konstruktions-, Material-
oder Verarbeitungsfehler die übliche Nutzung
dieses Minnid-Produktes erheblich
beeinträchtigt ist und
- Nutzungsbeeinträchtigungen durch
unzureichende Wartung, unsachgemäße oder
bestimmungswidrige Nutzung oder
besondere Umwelteinflüsse oder
- ungewöhnliche Einsatzbedingungen
ausgeschlossen sind und Sie der GA Actuation
Systems GmbH die Möglichkeit einräumen,
dieses Minnid-Produkt vor Ort zu
untersuchen.
Zur Erfüllung Ihrer aus dieser Produkt-
Gewährleistung geltend gemachten Ansprüche
kann die GA Actuation Systems GmbH nach
eigener Wahl
- entweder fehlerhafte Minnid-Produkte
reparieren oder Ersatz liefern oder
- den Zeitwert des Minnid-Produktes in Geld
ersetzen (Zeitwert ist der ursprüngliche
Kaufpreis, gemindert um 15% für jedes
begonnene Jahr nach Ihrem Kauf).
Ihre Ansprüche aus dieser Produkt-
Gewährleistung verjähren innerhalb von einem
Jahr, nachdem der Anspruch von Ihnen bei der
GA Actuation Systems GmbH angemeldet
worden ist. Die Dauer der Produkt-
Gewährleistung von zwei (2) Jahren ist eine
abschließende Frist, die mit Ihrem Kauf dieses
Minnid-Produktes beginnt und durch die
Erbringung von Gewährleistungs-Maßnahmen
nicht verlängert wird.
Weitergehende Ansprüche entstehen aus
dieser Produkt-Gewährleistung nicht. Soweit
die GA Actuation Systems GmbH nicht
schuldhaft das Leben, den Körper oder die
Gesundheit oder vorsätzlich oder grob
fahrlässig sonstige Pflichten aus dieser
Produkt-Gewährleistung verletzt, können
insbesondere keine Schadensersatzansprüche
gegen die GA Actuation Systems GmbH geltend
machen.
Ihre kaufvertraglichen Ansprüche gegenüber
dem Händler, bei dem Sie dieses Minnid-
Produkt gekauft haben, namentlich Ihre
Ansprüche wegen Sachmängeln werden durch
diese Produkt-Gewährleistung nicht berührt.

These operating instructions contain important
information for the safe handling of the carrier
rack. Special reference is made to possible
dangers. Failure to observe these dangers
could result in injury or accident.

Use of the rack is prohibited in the following
cases:
- If the carrier rack is damaged.
- For unauthorised conversions or
modifications.
- For children or persons who are unable to
assess the risks involved in handling the
rack.
In the following cases, the manufacturer
assumes no liability or warranty for damage:
- Failure to observe the operating instructions
- In the event of improper use.
- In the event of improper handling.
- When using spare parts that have not been
authorised by the manufacturer.
- In the event of unqualified repair of the carrier
rack.
2.1 Proper use
The e.hit integrated rear carrier rack may only
be used as a carrier rack in conjunction with
the e.base accessory holder and the
accessories listed in paragraph 3.2.
The carrier rack is suitable for use when driving
on tarmacked roads. Off-road use is not
permitted.
The carrier rack may only be used if it is
correctly installed and in a technically perfect
condition.
Proper use also includes observing the
information on the type plate and reading and
observing these operating instructions.
Any other use is considered contrary to the
intended purpose.
2.2 Safety instructions for use
In road traffic, the driver is responsible for the
safety of the vehicle and its load.
The country-specific laws on load securing take
precedence and must be observed at all times
(e.g. mandatory indication with a warning
sign).
The following values must be observed when
using the carrier rack:
- Maximum carrying capacity of the carrier
rack depending on the type of carrier rack.
The carrying capacity of the e.hit 120 is 120
kg and of the e.hit 150 is 150 kg (including
weight of the accessories attached to it).
- Vehicle's permissible axle load.
- Vehicle's permissible total weight.

Before driving
When using the carrier rack, the following
points must be checked before driving:
- Correct attachment of the carrier rack to
the vehicle.
- Correct attachment of accessories.
- Locking of all locks.
- Clear view from behind of the lights and the
licence plate of the e.base accessory base.
- Clear view of the driver in all directions.
- If the load protrudes laterally more than
380 mm beyond the light holder of the
e.base, the position of the light
(
à
paragraph 7 in the e.base operating
instructions) must be adjusted. If the
adjustment is not sufficient, the load must
be marked as follows:
- By a white light to the front.
- By a red light to the rear.
- Maximum 1500 mm above the road
surface.
- If a third brake light on the vehicle is
concealed during transport, a third
replacement brake light must be fitted.
- In order to reduce the rear load, heavy
loads must be placed as far forward as
possible in the luggage compartment.
Recommendation if nothing is being
transported on the carrier rack:
Remove the carrier rack (
à
paragraph 8 in the
e.base operating instructions) and transport it
in the luggage compartment, for instance. Fold
in and retract the e.hit integrated rear carrier
rack. This reduces fuel consumption, makes
parking easier and protects the carrier rack.
While driving
When using the carrier rack, the following points
must be observed while driving:
- Regularly observe the state of the load by
looking in the rear-view mirror.
- If anything changes with the state of the load,
drive at reduced speed to the next possible
place to stop and check that it is fastened
properly.
- It is not permitted to exceed a speed of 130
km/h.
- The larger side surface means the driver must
be prepared for increased susceptibility to
crosswinds.
- A change in braking behaviour must be
expected as a result of a change in load
distribution.
- Off-road driving is not permitted.
- Do not drive into the car wash.
- The correct fit of the carrier rack with
accessories and the proper attachment of the
load must be checked approx. 10 km after the
start of the journey.
- For longer journeys, the correct fit of the carrier
rack with accessories and the attachment of the
load must be checked every 500 km. This should
be done more frequently when driving on
uneven roads.
- Assistance systems (e.g. parking aid, parking
assistant, automatic luggage compartment lid)
can be deactivated automatically by assigning a
connector in the e.base accessory base.

4 Extending the support arms
Ø Check that the towbar (if present) has been
removed and that the electric socket
support has been swivelled out of the way.
Ø When swivelling it out of the way, watch
out for any obstacles beneath the vehicle.
Ø There should also be sufficient clearance
immediately behind the vehicle.
Ø Press and hold the operating button in the
motorhome rear garage to extend the
system.
Ø Continue to hold the button down
throughout the entire manoeuvre.
Ø Pay attention to the beeps:
• Short beep – system is moving
• Double beep – system has finished
extending
Ø Once the system has fully extended, you
can start mounting the e.base.

5 Retracting the support arms
Ø Remove all accessories from the e.hit
support arm.
Ø Press and hold the operating button in the
motorhome rear garage to extend the
system.
Ø Continue to hold the button down
throughout the entire manoeuvre.
Ø Pay attention to the beeps:
• Short beep – system is moving
• Double beep – system has finished
retracting
Ø Check that the lower housing cover has fully
retracted.
6 Maintenance and care
Ø Make sure that the support arms and
particularly the connector for the e.base
power supply are free of dirt deposits.

ATTENTION!
Risk of damage due to improper cleaning!
High-pressure cleaners, scouring agents or
aggressive cleaning agents can damage the
carrier rack.
Ø Clean the carrier rack using water and car
shampoo.
___________________________________
The carrier rack must be maintained as
follows:
Ø Clean the carrier rack on a regular basis.
Ø Remove salt and dirt after use in winter.
Ø At regular intervals, spray the connector for
the e.base power supply with contact spray.
Do this after cleaning it each time, or at
least every two months.

7 Product warranty
Dear customer,
By purchasing this Minnid product, you have
opted for a high-quality standard.
For this reason, GA Actuation Systems GmbH
provides a two-year (2-year) warranty for this
Minnid product under the terms and
conditions set forth in this declaration.
This product warranty is subject to the
following conditions:
- You have your habitual residence in Europe.
- This Minnid product was manufactured by GA
Actuation Systems GmbH and sold as a new
product.
- You have inspected this Minnid product for
defects after purchase and reported any
detected defects to the retailer from whom
you purchased this Minnid product.
If the conditions for a product warranty
specified in this declaration are fulfilled, you
are entitled to assert claims against GA
Actuation Systems GmbH if:
- Normal use of this Minnid product is
significantly impaired by design, material or
manufacturing defects for which GA
Actuation Systems GmbH is responsible.
- Usage impairments due to inadequate
maintenance, improper or unintended use or
special environmental influences or unusual
operating conditions are excluded
- You give GA Actuation Systems GmbH the
opportunity to investigate this Minnid
product on site.
To satisfy any claims you may have under this
product warranty, at its own discretion, GA
Actuation Systems GmbH may:
- Repair or replace defective Minnid products.
- Replace the time value of the Minnid product
in cash (time value is the original purchase
price less 15% for each year commenced
after your purchase).
Your claims under this product warranty expire
one year after the claim has been filed by you
with GA Actuation Systems GmbH. The two-
year (2-year) product warranty period is a final
period that begins upon your purchase of this
Minnid product and is not extended by the
performance of warranty measures.
Further claims do not arise from this product
warranty. Insofar as GA Actuation Systems
GmbH does not culpably violate life, body or
health or intentionally or grossly negligently
violate other obligations arising from this
product warranty, no claims for damages can
be asserted against GA Actuation Systems
GmbH.
Your contractual claims against the retailer
from whom you purchased this Minnid
Product, namely your claims for material
defects, are not affected by this product
warranty.
