Inbetriebnahme der MINOX CD 70
Anbringen des Trageriemens
Bitte die kleine Schlaufe des Trageriemens durch
die Öse am Kamerakörper schieben. Dann das
Ende des Trageriemens durch o. g. kleine Schlaufe
fädeln und so festziehen, daß sich die entstandene
Schlinge fest um die Öse am Kamerakörper legt.

Fixation de la courroie
Faites glisser la petite boucle de la courroie par
l’oeillet situé sur le corps de l’appareil. Puis enfilez
le bout de la courroie par cette même petite
boucle et serrez jusqu’à ce qu’un noeud coulant
se forme autour de l’oeillet de l’appareil.

Preparation for use
Attaching the carrying strap
Thread the small loop of the carrying strap
through the eyelet on the camera body. Pass the
other end of the carrying strap through the loop
and pull tightly. Adjust the strap until it wraps
firmly around the eyelet on the camera body.

Einlegen der Batterie
Zunächst öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (16)
mit dem Daumennagel. Beim Einlegen der Batterie
achten Sie bitte auf eine korrekte Ausrichtung des
Plus- und Minuspols. Nun können Sie den Deckel
wieder schließen. Bei frischer Batterie erscheint das
Batteriesymbol komplett schwarz.
Hinweise:
– Minustemperaturen können die Batterieleistung
beeinträchtigen. Bitte schützen Sie Ihre MINOX
CD 70 deshalb vor extremer Kälte.
– Falls die Batterie-Funktionsanzeige trotz frischer
Batterie eine geringe Batteriespannung anzeigt,
bitte einmal den Auslöser drücken.
– Bei der MINOX CD 70 mit Datenrückwand ist
nach dem Batteriewechsel eine erneute Einstel-
lung von Datum und/oder Uhrzeit notwendig.

Mise en place de la pile
Ouvrez d’abord le couvercle du compartiment pour
pile (16) avec l’ongle de votre pouce. Lorsque vous
placez la pile, veillez au positionnement correct des
pôles positif et negatif. Vous pouvez maintenant
refermer le couvercle. Après l’insertion d’une pile
neuve, le symbole d’affichage de l’état de la pile
est complètement noir.
Important:
– Les températures inférieures à zéro peuvent ent-
raver la performance de la pile. Veillez donc à
protéger votre MINOX CD 70 contre un froid
extrême.
– Si l’affichage de l’état de la pile indique un vol-
tage faible alors qu‘une nouvelle pile vienne
d‘être placée, appuyez une fois sur le déclen-
cheur.
– Si vous travaillez avec le MINOX CD 70 équippé
d’un dos-dateur, il est nécessaire d’effectuer un
nouveau réglage de la date et/ou de l’heure
après un changement de pile.

Installing the battery
Use your thumbnail to open the battery chamber
(16). Insert the battery, making sure that the plus
(+) and minus (-) ends are correctly positioned.
Close the battery chamber cover. The battery
power indicator will appear solid black.
Note:
– Keep your MINOX CD 70 as warm as possible
when operating under cold weather conditi-
ons; otherwise the battery may fail to function.
– If you install a new battery and the battery
power indicator still shows low battery power,
press the shutter release button.
– With the MINOX CD 70 data back camera, you
must reset the date and the time each time
you replace the battery.

Prüfen der Batteriespannung
Die Batterieleistung ist voll ausreichend.
Die Batterieleistung ist schwach. Sie sollten die Bat-
terie wechseln.
Beginnt der untere schwarze Teil des Batterielade-
symbols zu blinken, ist ein Batteriewechsel drin-
gend erforderlich.
Die Leistung der Batterie ist erschöpft. Die Batterie
muß gewechselt werden. Die Meldung kann je-
doch auch durch verschmutzte Batteriekontakte
verursacht worden sein. In diesem Fall sollten die
Kontakte mit einem sauberen, trockenen und fus-
selfreien Tuch gereinigt werden.

Vérification du voltage de la pile
La puissance de la pile est tout à fait suffisante.
Le voltage est faible; un changement de pile est
conseillé.
Si la partie inférieure noire de l’affichage de l’état
de la pile clignote, un changement de la pile est
absolument nécessaire.
La pile est déchargée; elle doit être remplacée. Tou-
tefois, le signal peut avoir été déclenché par des
contacteurs de pile salis. Dans ce cas, nettoyez les
contacteurs au moyen d‘un chiffon propre, sec et
qui ne peluche pas.

Checking the battery
Battery power is sufficient.
Battery power is low; replace battery.
If the lower black part of the battery power indi-
cator starts to blink, a change of battery is abso-
lutely necessary.
Battery is empty and must be replaced. This rea-
ding can also result from poor battery contact.
Clean battery contacts using a clean and dry lint-
free cloth.

Einlegen des Films
Zunächst die Rückwand mit der Entriegelung (23)
öffnen und aufklappen. Bitte achten Sie darauf,
daß ein möglicherweise in der Kamera befindlicher
Film zurückgespult ist.
Nun den Film in die Filmkammer einlegen und den
Filmanfang aus der Patrone ziehen. Legen Sie den
Filmanfang an die Markierung „Film Tip“ im Inne-
ren der Kamera und ziehen Sie ihn ganz über die
Aufwickelspule. Achten Sie bitte darauf, daß der
Film flach aufliegt. Nun können Sie die Kamera
schließen.
Drücken Sie den Auslöser (2) einmal; der Film wird
automatisch zum ersten Bild vorgespult. Im LCD-
Datenfeld (15) erscheint im Bildzählwerk (a) die
Anzeige „I“. Ihre MINOX CD 70 ist nun aufnahme-
bereit. Ist der Film fehlerhaft eingelegt erscheint im
Bildzählwerk die Anzeige „0“. Die Kamera bitte
nochmals öffnen und den Film wie bereits
beschrieben einlegen.

Mise en place du film
Ouvrez entièrement le dos de l‘appareil au moyen
du dispositif de dévérrouillage (23). Si un film se
trouve encore dans l’appareil, veillez à l’avoir rem-
bobiné avant d’ouvrir.
Introduisez le film dans l’emplacement prévu et
tirez la languette du film qui dépasse. Appliquez-la
sur le repère „Film Tip“ à l‘intérieur de l‘appareil et
tirez-la jusqu’à recouvrir entièrement la bobine
réceptrice. Prenez soin d’appliquer le film bien à
plat dans l‘appareil. Vous pouvez maintenant refer-
mer l‘appareil.
Appuyez une fois sur le déclencheur (2); le film est
automatiquement entraîné jusqu’à la première
photo. Le compteur (a) - inclu dans l‘écran de
contôle ACL (15) - affiche „I“. Votre MINOX CD 70
est alors prêt à l’emploi. Si le film a été mal placé,
le compteur affiche „0“. Veuillez rouvrir l‘appareil
et insérer le film encore une fois comme décrit ci-
dessus.

Loading the film
Caution:
Before opening the camera back, make sure that
the film in the camera is properly rewound.
Press the camera back release button (23); the
camera back will pop open. Drop the film into
the film chamber and pull the film leader out of
the cartridge. Place the film leader on the „Film
Tip“ mark and pull the film entirely over the
take-up spool, making sure that the film does not
buckle. Close the camera back.
Press the shutter release button (2) once; the film
will automatically advance to the first frame. An
„I“ will appear in the frame counter (a) on the
LCD display (15). Your MINOX CD 70 is now
ready for use.
If an „0“ appears in the frame counter, your film
has not been loaded properly. Repeat the proce-
dure described above.
