MA11022 Gateway with backup

Download the App
Download the MOBILE-ALERTS app from "Apple
App Store" or "Google Play".
Connect the Gateway
Connect gateway to power supply using the
supplied AC adapter. Connect included LAN cable
with gateway and your router. After about 10
seconds, the Gateway is in operation. The LAN
LED will turn static green.
If no DHCP server is available in your network, you
can configure the gateway in the app
under the
point “Settings” manually.
Important: The Gateway
should always be put
into operation before starting the sensors!
When AC/DC adapter power is OFF, the batteries
and the internal circuitry will keep providing power
for the gateway to receive MA transmitter data, for
up to 12 hours. When AC/DC adapter power is
back, the gateway will then transfer the stored
transmitter data to the server and to the
application.
Sensor set up and addition
(sensors not included)
Open the battery compartment of the sensor and
put in requested batteries with the correct polarity
(see sensor technical information). The sensor now
sends its measurements for several times in short
intervals and then every 7 minutes.
Open the app, dashboard is displayed. The sensor
Hannover is only for testing purposes and may be
deleted. Tap "Add new sensor" and scan the QR
code on the back of the temperature sensor. Then
set a name for the sensor. To set a name, select
the transmitter and then tap on the left area of the
pencil icon in the upper right.
Read measurements
Now you can read the measurements on your
mobile phone.
Troubleshooting
When no sensor readings are displayed in the app,
check if the green LAN LED on the gateway is
permanently lit. If not, please check if:
- The gateway is properly connected to the power
plug, the router and is turned on.
- The batteries in the sensor are inserted with the
correct polarity.
- Restart the sensor by removing the batteries for a
minute and reinserting, to restart the sensor.
- Your phone is connected to the internet.
- The signal is weakened by thick walls and
ceilings. Put the sensor in operation near the
gateway and then locate a suitable location.

LAN LED (green) :
- Blinking 3 times cyclic : DNS
request is running
- Blinking 2 times cyclic : DHCP
request is running
- Blinking 1 time cyclic : No Ethernet

- ON : ERF-gateway is working and
ready to receive RF frames
- OFF : no Internet connection and
no AC/DC power supply
- Toggle both : Analysing data flash
content, take some seconds
DATA LED (red) :
- Toggle slow : Connecting server,
transfer data
- ON : After reset for a few seconds,
while init. Gateway
- OFF : No activity, application is
waiting until the delay is over to
connect to data server again
- Flashing : MA transmitter data is
received

UPLOAD BUTTON
- Short press : Force the gateway to
upload data to the data server
- Press and hold for 3 seconds while
turn on the gateway (either by
using the ON/OFF button or first
connect AC/DC adapter power) :
Perform factory reset of the
gateway
ON/OFF BUTTON
- Short press : Turn ON/OFF the
gateway feature, under the
condition that the gateway is not in
sleep mode
- Press and hold for 6 seconds : If
the AC/DC power is OFF, and the
gateway feature is disabled, press
and hold the ON/OFF button for
6s. will force the gateway into
sleep mode, the power is
conserved for transportation
purpose or long term storage. All
LED is OFF and all button will be
disabled in sleep mode. To get out
from sleep mode, user need to
power up the gateway with AC/DC
adapter power once.
DC LED (red) :
- ON : AC/DC adapter
power presents
- OFF : No power from
AC/DC adapter
CHARGE LED (green) :
- ON : AC/DC adapter
power is ON, internal
batteries is fully charged
- Blinking : AC/DC adapter
power is ON, internal
batteries is being charged
- OFF : AC/DC adapter
power is OFF, or internal
batteries not insered

Old batteries do not belong into
general household waste because they
could cause damages of health and
environment. You can return used batteries free of
charge to your dealer and collection points. As
end-user you are obliged by law to bring back used
batteries to distributors and other collecting points!
This symbol signifies that you must

the end of its useful life. Take your electronic to
your local waste collection point or recycling
centre. This applies to all countries of the
European Union, and to other European countries
with a separate waste collection system.
