01. PROGRAMMING MODE
WARNING! Do not program the remote control when the shutter is in the extreme position (top
or bottom). Each program and changes of motor’s operation directions are confirmed by two
micro-movements of the driver.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in damage the blinds (inhaled by the housing).
1. Enter MOBILUS motor, serie R in the PROGRAMMING MODE OF MASTER REMOTE:

press for 5 seconds PROGRAMMING BUTTON in the motor
- Fig. 1a;

or double turn off and turn on the power supply od the motor
- Fig. 1b;
The confirmation of properly performed operation will be two micro-movements of the motor driver
- Fig. 1c.

WARNING! If no programming action is taken within 20 seconds, the drive will do two
half turns, and the motor will automatically change to the operating mode – it won’t be
programmed.
02. LOADING THE REMOTE CONTROL INTO THE TUBULAR MOTOR MEMORY
1. Remove the control from its frame as some programming buttons are located on the
back side of the control. - Fig. 2a.

2. Select the right channel ( unless it is a 1-channel control COSMO | L1 ). - Fig. 2b.
3. Enter MOBILUS motor, serie R in the PROGRAMMING MODE.
4. Press the STOP and UP buttons (on the back side of the remote control) and hold them
until the drive does two half turns.

WARNING! If it is the first remote control loaded into the receiver, this is the MASTER remote
control and the motor will change to the operating mode. Using the MASTER remote control,
it is now possible to operate the motor or program other remote controls. No channel will be
loaded by the motor if the remote control sends signals for several channels simultaneously.
03. PROGRAMMING THE SECOND REMOTE CONTROL AND EACH SUBSEQUENT ONE
1. On the MASTER remote control simultaneously press the STOP and UP - Fig. 3.1a. Hold the
buttons until the motor driver will perform two micro-movements confirming the input of
the motor in the PROGRAM MODE - Fig. 3.1b.
2. On the second remote control, you want to program, press the (in the case of the
multi-channel remote control) STOP and UP, Hold the buttons until the motor driver will
perform two micro-movements - Fig. 3.2.

Another remote control (channel) has been loaded into the motor memory.
The next remote control can be loaded as well. However, if no programming action
is taken within 20 seconds – the motor will automatically change to the operating
mode. This can be also done manually, by means of the MASTER remote control. To set
the operating mode manually, press the STOP and UP buttons on the MASTER remote
control simultaneously and hold them for more than 5 seconds. In both cases, the
operating mode will be indicated by two half turns of the drive.
04. CHANGE OF MOTOR’S OPERATION DIRECTION
1. If you press the directional button on the remote UP, and shutter goes DOWN (Fig. 4a) change
the direction of rotation of the drive: on the remote control simultaneously press and hold the
buttons DOWN and UP, until the drive executes one sequence of micro down / up moves (Fig.
4b). Check the operation of the buttons UP / DOWN (Fig. 4c).

Channels are selected by means of the buttons located on the
front panel of the remote control. After pressing a button, it is
illuminated and the radio channel is enabled. Channels can be
chosen freely.

CAUTION!
1. Standby mode: pressing the UPPER AREA or the LOWER AREA on the panel will
only cause the wakeup and the display of the previously ecorded, active channel or
the combination of channels ( no signal will be transmitted ).
2. Standby mode: pressing any of the selection buttons will
wake up the transmitter and cause illumination/activa-
tion of the channel being chosen (then, other channels
can be enabled ).

3. If the UPPER AREA or the LOWER AREA is not pressed before the transmitter changes
to the standby mode, the newly selected combination of channels will not be saved ( after
waking up the device from the standby mode by pressing the UPPER AREA lub LOWER
AREA ) the previous combination will be used ).
4. Each pressing of the UPPER AREA or the LOWER AREA in the operating mode will save
the selected channel or the combination of channels in the memory of the device and the
“up” or “down” signal will be sent.

5. After pressing any of the selection buttons in the operating mode, the button is
enabled or disabled (depending on the previous state). Depending on the next action,
point 3 or 4 is applicable.
NOTE After putting the remote control into the frame, there is no access to the STOP button.
To stop the motor, press the opposite area of the panel. This rule applies only to the COSMO
operating pilot L with COSMO receivers.

FOR EXAMPLE After pressing the LOWER AREA Fig. 5.5a on the panel, the motor can be
stopped at any time by pressing the UPPER AREA Fig. 5.5b.

Control remotes COSMO | L1, COSMO | L5 works in latest version of radio communication COSMO
| 2WAY. Control remotes COSMO | L1, COSMO | L5 are not bi-directional remotes, ie they are not
capable of displaying feedback.
If you need to change the mode to an older version (for example, if you purchase a new remote control
for older COSMO radio tubular motors), follow these instructions:
1. Activate the remote control.
2. At the same time, press and hold the UP + DOWN buttons on the back of the controller for
20 seconds.
3. When the LEDs are lit, the corresponding communication standard is activated:
LEDs flashing rapidly -the latest radio communication COSMO | 2WAY
LEDs blinking slowly - previous communication COSMO
It is not possible to check the active communication mode.

09. WARRANTY
The manufacturer guarantees correct device functioning. The manufacturer also agree to repair or
replace device damaged if the damage results from defects in materials and construction.
The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase under the following conditions:
• Installation was made by a person authorized in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
• Seals haven’t been breached and unauthorized design changes haven’t been made.
• The device was operated as intended by the user manual.
• Damage is not a result of the improperly performed electrical installation or any atmospheric phenomena.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse or mechanical damage.
• In case of failure the device should be provided for repair with proof of purchase.
Defects found during the warranty period will be removed free for no longer than 14 working days
from the date of acceptance of device for repair. The manufacturer MOBILUS MOTOR Sp. z o.o.
carries on warranty repairs. If you have any questions, please contact your dealer (please provide
the following information: event description, description of the error, the conditions under which the
accident occurred).
10. MAINTENANCE
1. For cleaning, use a soft cloth (eg. microfiber), moistened with water. Then wipe dry.
2. Do not use chemicals.
3. Avoid using in soiled and dusty environments.
4. Do not use the device at temperatures higher or lower than the declared range.
5. Do not open the device - otherwise the warranty shall be lost.
6. The device is sensitive to dropping, throwing.
11. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
This appliance is marked according to the European Directive on Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment (2002/96/EC) and further amendments. By ensuring this
product is disposed of correctly, you will help to prevent potential negative consequ-
ences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by
inappropriate waste handling of this product. The symbol on the product, or the do-
cuments accompanying the product, indicates that this appliance may not be treated
as household waste. It shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the
waste electrical and electronic equipment for recycling purpose. For more information
about recycling of this product, please contact your local authorities, your household
waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.
